    I am new to Jquery, In fact, I have 0 knowledge using JQuery. I am trying to get something to work using JQuery. I have a html page with an iframe. The iframe page has a form in it and a textbox in it. The Iframe is actually created by another jquery function and is inside a div. Now, when I click a link on the main page, I want the textbox in the iframe to be populated with some value.     Hi folks, for building a clean canonical url, that always returns 1 base URL, im stuck in following case: <?php # every page $extensions = $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']; # path like: /en/home.ast?ln=ja $qsIndex = strpos($extensions, '?'); # removes the ?ln=de part $pageclean = $qsIndex !== FALSE ? substr($extensions, 0, $qsIndex) : $extensions; $canonical = "http://website.com" . $pageclean; # basic canonical url ?> <html><head><link rel="canonical" href="<?=$canonical?>"></head> when URL : http://website.com/de/home.ext?ln=de canonical: http://website.com/de/home.ext BUT I want to remove the file extension aswell, whether its .php, .ext .inc or whatever two or three char extension .[xx] or .[xxx] so the base url becomes: http://website.com/en/home Aaah much nicer! but How do i achieve that in current code? Any hints are much appreciated +! (other advices for proper canonical usage in this multi-lingual environment are welcome as well)

  • Help with regex pulling XML data from response body in PHP

    I am working on a project that pulls data from JMS queue using PHP and Zend Framework. The HTTP client response is below. All I need is the XML string. I came up with /(.*)<\/RequestDetails/gs which tests ok on http://gskinner.com/RegExr/ but the preg_match call is returning an empty matches array. I'm going to continue to hunt around for a pattern, but thought I would post here as well. Thanks to all who read, etc... Steve UPDATE: I can't get the code to paste correctly.     Hello, I had inserted two jQuery tabs on my site. One div container had the id - tabs and another had the id tabs-for-views. Both of them were working fine till sometime ago, until i made some changes. I don't remember what the exact changes were.. Right now, the first tab uses the jQuery UI theme I am using. As in, I can see the tab navigation and content panels - but on clicking the tabs nothing happens. But the second (tabs-for-views) is not even converted to proper tabs format.     Hello dear Stackoverflow gurus, I am trying to integrate JQuery tabs with my WordPress blog, to replace old HTML Navigation menu. I am half way there but not quiet... Take a look for yourself: http://www.isahat.com The template breaks right away since the first button of the Tab menu is linked to index.php like so: Home Info The second tab menu shows my Info page just fine, but on top of everything else. My home page and everything else gets shifted down to make room for Info page.   • How to track dealloc of an abstract object class (NSMutable...)

    I have a bug in my code caused by a premature freeing of a ObjC object. I seem not to be able to find it by just looking at my code. There's usually a simple trick to track the dealloc to any class: Implement dealloc, and set a breakpoint. This even usually works with standard objects, by subclassing them and making sure I instantiate the subclass instead of the standard class. However, this does not seem to work with NSMutableArray, and probably neither with similar NSMutable... classes. Some explanations for this can be found here: link text Any other ideas how to track the dealloc invocation of a particular class or object so that I can see the call stack? It's probably possible with DTrace. Any pointers without having to read the entire dtrace docs first?

    I am using Omniauth in my Rails project, and I'll like to hide "/auth/facebook" behind a "/login" route. In fact, I wrote a route: match "/login", :to => redirect("/auth/facebook"), :as => :login and this actually works, i.e. a link to login_path will redirect to /auth/facebook. However, how can I write a (rspec) spec to test this route (specifically, the "redirect" option)? Do note that /login is not an actual action nor method defined in application. Thanks in advance!

This is an E-commerce project and I am looking for something to manage Product and system URL from database. Something Similar like magneto dose.   • Download and replace Android resource files

    My application will have some customisation for each company that uses it. Up until now, I have been loading images and strings from resource files. The idea is that the default resources will be distributed with the application and company specific resources will be loaded from our server after they click on a link from an email to launch the initialisation intent. Does anyone know how to replace resource files? I would really like to keep using resource files to avoid rewriting a lot of code/XML. I would distribute the application from our own server, rather than through the app store, so that we could have one version per company, but unfortunately this will give quite nasty security warnings that would concern our customers.

    My userscript has the following code var scrpt=document.getElementsByTagName('script'); i included this to know the number of scripts of each page i access. This works fine with some websites but for some sites i am not getting all the scripts present. I installed the user script in both firefox and chrome the issue is the number of scripts for the same site is different in both browsers. For example when i access this link Help extracting text from html tag with Java and Regex i am getting the number of scripts in firefox as:17 and in chrome as:15 but when i view the page source there are 22 script tags Please help me to slove the problem. I even tried document.scripts but still i get the same result.

  • CSS not displayed depending on page

    I have a friend that has a really strange issue with my website. When he clicks on http://www.copeo.fr/ the page displays fine but when he clicks on a link like www.copeo.fr/user/ the CSS is not applied even after a refresh. The raw html does display. I asked him to display the CSS that is hosted on amazon S3 hcopeoressources.s3.amazonaws.com/style/futurvert/style.css and it displays fine. The code validates on W3C validator so does the CSS. I am lost what could be the origin of the issue. Could it be its enterprise cache? configuration of IE7 on his machine? If it happens to someone else who could explain the issue to me, I am all hears. Thanks

    I am doing a school project where we need to create an android application which needs to connect to a database. the application needs to gain and store information for people's profiles on the database. But unfortunatly we are a little bit stuck at this point because there are numerous ways to link the application such as http request through apache or through the SOAP/REST protocol. But it's really hard to find good instructions or tutorials on the problem since I can't really find them. Maybe that's cause i'm probably using the wrong words on google. Unfortunately I have little relevant information. So if anyone can help me with finding relevant links to good online tutorials or howto's than those are very welcome.

I read the article http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/3ak841sy%28VS.80%29.aspx 1) Why I don't just use App data folder? 2) In the link above : "With isolated storage, data is always isolated by user and by assembly. Credentials such as the origin or the strong name of the assembly determine assembly identity. Data can also be isolated by application domain, using similar credentials." I can't think about a scenario that makes this future important. In general I don't understand the philosophy and the need of "isolated storage" which inspire MS to create such a thing. Thanks

  • Linux script to kill process listening on a particular port

    I have a process that listens on a TCP port (?0003). From time to time it crashes - badly. It stops working, but continues hogging the port for some time, so I can't even restart it. I'm looking to automate this. What I do right now is: netstat -ntlp |grep -P "\*\:\d0003" To see what the PID is and then: kill -9 <pid> Does anyone have a script (or EXE for that matter) that would link the two steps together, ie. parse the PID from the first command and pass it to the second?

  • What's the easiest way to implement background downloading in Wicket?

    I've got a simple Wicket form that lets users select some data and then download a ZIP file (generated on the fly) containing what they asked for. Currently the form button's onSubmit() method looks something like this: public void onSubmit() { IResourceStream stream = /* assemble the data they asked for ... */ ; ResourceStreamRequestTarget target = new ResourceStreamRequestTarget(stream); target.setFileName("download.zip"); RequestCycle.get().setRequestTarget(target); } This works, but of course the request stops there and it's impossible to display any other feedback to the user. What I'd like to have is something like the typical "Your requested download [NAME] should begin automatically. If not, click this link." Ideally, still displaying the same page, so the user can immediately select some different data and download that as well. I imagine it's possible to do this using Wicket's Ajax classes, but I've managed to avoid having to use them so far, and it's not immediately obvious to me how. What's my quickest way out, here?

To show the images , i have made one table and i have put labels in that and then i am setting the icon at the label. Now as soon as user click on the any image, then that image i put on big label. But this works perfect on mouse click but client want that , if user navigate the by keyboard arrow keys then in same should be happen. Means : User navigate by key board then it should reflect on that table [user should know that which is currently seleted ] and then as soon as the user navigate by key board arrow events and then click enter then that image should reflect on big label.     In a comment in response to a shell question, user tinkertim said that it was easy to hack ksh to use the bash autocompletion library. I would like nothing better than to use bash autocompletion with AT&T ksh93. How can this be done? ksh93 has a new release several times a year, so I am looking for a solution that does not involve modifying the source code. ksh93 can link new C modules dynamically and also is highly programmable (I run a ksh function at every keystroke), so modifying the source should not really be necessary. Note: I am not talking about filename autocompletion, which is easy to do in ksh. I'm talking about all the other yummy autocompletion stuff that bash does, like autocompletion options for nmh commands or autocompleting Mercurial commmands. Stuff like that.

When you click a row, it shows a details page. I've gone through the tutorials but could not find a basic crud-like example as explained above. Any help would be greatly appreciated.     I followed the Djangoappengine instructions. I used their django-testapp and copied the following folders in the django-testapp folder according to what I understood the instructions to say: django djangoappengine djangotoolbox I then started the dev server by running: manage.py runserver Then navigated to http://localhost:8000/ and got the "It worked!" page, which is great, but it says the following at the bottom: You're seeing this message because you have DEBUG = True in your Django settings file and you haven't configured any URLs. Get to work! I am an absolute beginner with Django and App Engine and Djangoappengine and Django-nonrel, so I am pretty lost. How do I configure URLs? Or a link to the how to will help. I took a look at the Django tutorial, but am unsure how much of it is relevant to Djangoappengine and Django-nonrel as a lot of the starting steps have to do with SQL databases. Basically some direction on how to get my app running will be great. Thanx much.

  • Is it possible to disable the iPhone's automatic hyperlinks?

    We send out a notification email whenever we have "phishing" emails reported to us. In these emails, we include a copy-paste of the text inside the original phishing email as a sample of what is reported to us. Our code strips all hyperlinks out of the email via PHP, but still includes (in plain text) the link. When users receive this email in their client (Thunderbird, Outlook, Horde/IMP, etc), the hyperlink is removed. However, the iPhone likes to take web addresses in plain text and automatically turn them into hyperlinks. Is there any possible way to stop this action from happening via a HTML tag or by using PHP to replace certain parts of the hyperlink?
