    I want to make a little php poll. The script should ask the users a question they can only answer by numbers from 0-999. After pressing the submit button the data should be stored into mysql. So I just want to know how much users choosed the same number (in percent). It's a simple poll but I don't want any output to be shown.

    Well basically I've got a vb.net script connecting to IRC, and I'm working on making it a basic chat system, but I've run into a problem. Say I receive this: :[email protected] PRIVMSG #channel :message I want to grab specific information to output to the user. I want to grab nickname and message How can I go about doing this? I thought about using regex, but I can't figure out how to make regex grab message since there's nothing after it.

  • ASP.Net Checkbox value at postback is wrong?

    We have a checkbox that is initially disabled and checked. It is then enabled on the client side through javascript. If the user then unchecks the box and presses the button to invoke a postback, the state of the checkbox remains as checked on the server side. This is obviously undesirable behaviour.     I am taking an XML document and creating a word document using XSLT and OpenXML. The problem is that when I create the word document, all of the HTML that is within the CDATA tags are not escaped and look like this: GET /recipe/recipe/cat.php/&gt;&quot;&gt;&lt;script&gt;alert(document.domain)&lt;/script&gt; I have tried defining "cdata-section-elements" in my xsl:output; however I receive an error stating that p tag doesn't match the w:t tag.(the p tag is apart of the CDATA HTML).     Hi, Relating to another question I asked regarding setting up Mercurial under VisualSvn server. Currently when you go to the /svn/ url you can see all repos including hg repos. I now want some way to redirects you to the correct url for hg repos Eg myserver/svn/MecurialRepo = myserver/hg/MercurialRepo Or the correct hg script is run, or somehow disable the Mecurial repos from not displaying under the svn url. I have tried using the RewriteRule in the conf file, seems like something is ignoring the it. Thanks

    I have a PHP script which takes a value from a row in my MySQL database, runs it through a function, and if it determines it's true returns one value, and if it's false, it needs to go to the next value in the database and check that one until eventually one returns true. I think I need to use mysql_fetch_assoc, but I'm not really sure in what way to use it... I wish I could post my code to be more specific, but it's a lot of code and most of it has no bearing on this issue...
