    I'm using Papeclip(2.3.1.1) with Rails(2.3.5). In my view I write so: <%= link_to image_tag(p.attachment.url(:small)), p.attachment.url(:original) %, and it becomes into href="/system/attachments/1/original/1.JPG?1270134617 (for a tag) src="/system/attachments/1/small/1.JPG?1270134617" (for img tag). And when I click on the picture, my browser (Firefox) offers me to save or open picture and I want to just open picture in browser without any dialogs. I think it's because link contains ?1270134617 after file's name. How can I fix it?

    My Question: How to overcome an IllegalAccessException to access the value of a an object's field using reflection. Expansion: I'm trying to learn about reflection to make some of my projects more generic. I'm running into an IllegalAccessException when trying to call field.getValue(object) to get the value of that field in that object. I can get the name and type just fine. If I change the declaration from private to public then this works fine. But in an effort to follow the "rules" of encapsulation I don't want to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!     I want to differrntiate between Windows XP and Windows 7 in a XML file. Thought i will use an environment variable for it inside the XML. However I could not find any system environment variable defined in windows that gives this information. I see the %OSTYPE% variable but it is only available in Windows 7. It is not defined in XP. Is there anyway i could do this? Note that i would like a solution which purely depends on system environment variables. I do not want to create new variables based on executing some command, because i want to use this variable in a XML file.

So, we are thinking about a CMS, with persistent storage, perhaps developed in Java. I just started looking into Jease and dotCMS, and also checked here those recommendations in questions like "Best Open Source Java CMS", etc I find some CMSs too bulky for simple stuff like what we need which is basically document download/edit/upload, and some simple collaboration and personalization stuff. Smartphones of choice in our workforce are Nokia, Blackberry and IPhone, The question is: are there java based with persistent db CMSs aimed at Smartphones right now? I need replication of the complete database and run website offline.

If you need any more information just ask. EDIT: I'm practically certain the problem has nothing to do with my router settings. When disabling my port forwarding settings I get a slightly different error: Client exception: java.rmi.ConnectException: Connection refused to host: (-WAN IP NOT LOCAL IP-); but it appears both on the machine locally connected to the server and on the remote machine. In addition, I got it to work seamlessly when connecting the server straight tho the modem (cutting out the router. I can only conclude the problem is in my router's settings but can't see where (I've checked and double checked the port forwarding page). That's the only answer i can come up with.

    I am currently working on a security audit/code review of our system. This requires me to check all pages in the system and make sure that the code behind contains two methods that are used to check security. Sometimes the code in these methods get commented out to make testing easier. So, my question is does anyone know an easy way to search code, make sure the methods are present, and to determine which ones have no code or have all the code commented out. It would make my job much easier if I can get a list instead of having to look at every file... I'm sure I could write this myself, but I thought someone may know of something that already exists.     Is it possible to detect with VSX when any (or a particular) smart tag event is happening? I mean, every time we rename a variable, for example, a smart tag is available that allows us to change it through a form. I'd like to know if I can access that "text is changing" event. I don't mean to have to check for myself if the text is being changed and such, I'd like to make use of VS event system (if there is one).     I am writing a small script for watchr that runs my PHP unit tests. Current script runs tests using system() and displays them colored. I am trying to add libnotify functionality, but for that I need to parse the output and match against regexp, so that notification will either display green or red. system() doesn't return output, %x does return, but puts p doesn't display colors, which I need to quickly see which test failed. One option would be to run tests twice - once for display in terminal window, and second time for checking which notification to show, but I would rather avoid it.
