• Change OpenVZ route to pass through ip failover

  I have one dedicaced server with its own IP and another IP (failover) who refer to the first. I will wish to change the gateway of a Proxmox virtual machine (openvz) who runs on this dedicaced server to go through the failover IP rather than the ip of host main server. Once connected to a virtual machine, when I do a traceroute VE# traceroute www.google.fr traceroute to www.google.fr (209.85.229.104), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets 1 MY_SERVER_NAME.ovh.net (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx FIRST_IP_MAIN_SERVER) 0.021 ms 0.010 ms 0.009 ms The first line tells me the ip of host main server. I would like that the traceroute display the second IP failover.   I have a UITableViewCell that I create in tableView:cellForRowAtIndexPath:. In that method I call: UITableViewCell *cell = [[[UITableViewCell alloc] initWithStyle:UITableViewCellStyleDefault reuseIdentifier:nil] autorelease]; NSLog(@"Cell height: %f", cell.contentView.frame.size.height); This gives me a return value of 44.000000. Then in my tableView:didSelectRowAtIndexPath: method, I call: UITableViewCell *cell = [tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath: indexPath]; NSLog(@"Cell height: %f", cell.contentView.frame.size.height); And this gives me a return value of 43.000000. Aren't they the same cell? What gives?

I've imported the header file in my controller class and set it's attributed string value like this NSAttributedString* str = [[NSAttributedString alloc] initWithString:@"http://www.yahoo.com"]; [url setAttributedStringValue:(NSAttributedString *)str]; [str release]; The text field is not selectable and not editable. • PHP: How to check if query string or POST vars contain same var twice

  It may sound strange, but in my PHP application I need to check if the same variable name has been declared more than once in the query string or POST variables, and return an error value if this is the case. If my application doesn't return an error in this case, it fails a compliance check. When accessing vars using $_GET, $_POST, etc, PHP only returns the last value given for each variable name. I can't find a way to tell if any variable appeared more than once. I simply need to find out if the query string or the variables in the POST body contained the same variable name more than once, whatever the values.

  I am planning on buying a new set of speakers and was looking at the Creative SBS A520 5.1 Speakers as an option to connect to my Dell XPS 502X. From what I have seen online and on the quick start guide for the speakers, I need to have 3 line out ports on my laptop to use the 5.1 speakers properly. Right now, I have port for 3.5mm jack, one S/P Diff and another for the mic. Can I connect these speakers directly to my laptop without using any other hardware? If I do need some other hardware, what do I need to get?

• Good scanner to buy as of January 2010

  I'm planning to buy a scanner soon and since I didn't purchased one in years I wanted to know which brand / models are the "best". The ability to scan negatives is a nice to have but not 100% required. If you are specifing a model in particular, plase note that it must work under 64-bit OS (I'm using Windows 7 Ulitmate 64-bit). I'm not looking for a all-in-one solution like scanner/fax/printer. I want to use this to scan "old" photos from the non-digital era :) And sometimes to scan magazines and books. I am located in Canada it would be nice if your suggestion is available here. I usually buy online at NCIX and DirectCanada if it can help you see what's available there. Edit: My search leaded me to 2 particular models. I hesitate between Canon CanoScan 8800F and Epson V600. Anyone have good/bad words on either of them?

• DatagridView loses current edit on Background update

  Here's my problem : I have a DataGridView bound to a BindingList of custom objects. A background thread is constantly updating a value of these objects. The udpates are showing correctly, and everything is fine except for one thing - If you try to edit a different field while the background-updated field is being updated, it loses the entered value. • jQuery dialog width resizing problem

  I try to load some HTML code into a jQueryUI dialog by AJAX. The code itself is a list, where rightmost elements should be absolutely positioned so that the list looks like a table with two columns, but only in some rows. The problem is that jQueryUI plugin does not seem to be correctly resizing the dialog's width, which I think is due to the absolute positioning of some li's. I have read some answers to other similar questions, but none helped me out with this. • NHibernate mapping one table on two classes with where selection

  We would like to map a single table on two classes with NHibernate. The mapping has to be dynamically depending on the value of a column. Here's a simple example to make it a bit clearer: We have a table called Person with the columns id, Name and Sex. The data from this table should be mapped either on the class Male or on the class Female depending on the value of the column Sex. In Pseudocode: create instance of Male with data from table Person where Person.Sex = 'm'; create instance of Female with data from table Person where Person.Sex = 'f'; The benefit is we have strongly typed domain models and can later avoid switch statements. Is this possible with NHibernate or do we have to map the Person table into a flat Person class first? Then afterwards we would have to use a custom factory method that takes a flat Person instance and returns a Female or Male instance. Would be good if NHibernate (or another library) can handle this.

I will be testing and then rewriting a lot of HTML generation code and currently I'm just testing if the generated strings are identical to the expected string, like so: (using PHPUnit) public function testConntype_select() { $this->assertEquals( '<select><option value="blabla">Some text</option></select>', conntype_select(1); // A value from the test dataset. ); } This way has the downside that attribute ordering, whitespace and a lot of other irrelevant details are tested as well. I'm wondering if there are any better ways to do this. For example if there are any good and easy ways to compare the generated DOM trees. I found very similar questions for ruby, but couldn't find anything for PHP.

  Hi, I have a modal popup extender which is triggered by gridview onRowCommand. The gridview and the modal popup extender is in different updatePanel. The panel which assigned to PopupControlID of the mpe contains a textbox and a button. This button will triggered a page method web service that will return a value to be assigned to the textbox. My problem is when I click the button, after partial post back, the mpe disapper (hide). I tried everything to make it show. • Static string variable in Objective C on iphone

  Hi, How to create & access static string in iPhone (objective c)? I declare static NSString *str = @"OldValue" in class A. If i assign some value to this in class B as str = @"NewValue". This value persists for all methods in class B. But if I access it in class C (after assignment in B) I am getting it as OldValue. Am I missing something? Should i use extern in other classes?   hi, I'm creating a streaming application, using GStreamer with TCP pipeline, and i implemented start, pause, and stop. but the problem is, that i can't seek, i tried to change the playback value from the server side, then i tried on the client side, and Finally tried to change the value on both at the same time, but in all cases it doesn't work. and I even tried to pause the playback then continue but nothing happens. I'm having this problem with the seek and the volume. But If i just send the request int he keyboard events, it will fire every time a key is pressed. So basically I want something liek this function KeyUpEvent() { if (user is still typing) return; else do processing } It would be great if the solution could come from plain javascript or mootools. I'm just thinking it would be nice to reformulate that query so it could be called like SELECT * FROM dbo.table1 WHERE column1 REGEXLIKE '[0-9][A-Z]' Is it possible to create new comparison operators using CLR Code.   I apologize if this is a noob question, but I can't seem to figure this one out. I have defined an object that defines a music track (NOTE: originally had the just ATTRIBUTE vs self.ATTRIBUTE. I edited those values in to help remove confusion. Now I want to iterate the list and print out a single value of each item list = self.TrackOlv.GetObjects() for item in list: print item.atrTitle This fails with the error AttributeError: type object 'Track' has no attribute 'atrTitle' What really confuses me is if I highlight a single item in the Object List View display and use the following code, it will correctly print out the single value for the highlighted item list = self.TrackOlv.GetSelectedObject() print list.atrTitle
