• Error debugging - Conversion from String to Double

  I'm doing some error debugging trying to get the errors on our website down to a minimum and there seems to be an error that is popping up quite a lot Conversion from string "" to type 'Double' is not valid. I'm unable to replicate this problem but I can see that it is happening. I've been looking through the code in one of the pages and strolled across this Dim varWeek As String If varWeek < 10 Then 'Do something' End If Could this be causing the problem as it is trying to see if a String is less than 10 which is an Integer? As I said before as I am unable to see this error in the first place so changing this to an Integer doesn't change anything on my system. Thanks.

  I want to iterate over all rows of a MS-Word mail merge data source and extract the relevant data into an XML.   As an example, here is a way to get a matrix of all possible outcomes of rolling 4 (fair) dice. z <- as.matrix(expand.grid(c(1:6),c(1:6),c(1:6),c(1:6))) As you may already have understood, I'm trying to work out a question that was closed, though, in my opinion, it's a challenging one. I used counting techniques to solve it (I mean by hand) and I finaly arrived to a number of outcomes, with a sum of subset being 5, equal to 1083 out of 1296. That result is consistent with the answers provided to that question, before it was closed. I was wondering how could that subset of outcomes (say z1, where dim(z1) = [1083,4] ) be generated using R. Do you have any ideas? Thank you.

  I have code that's working beautifully on my development machine, but when deployed to the server is throwing null reference exception. So, I can't step through the code, but I've pinned down the culprit. But now I am puzzled. Here's the code. The question is below. Now here's the quandary.. The first line that sets the label returns False, so certs is not null. But the second line throws an null reference exception. How is this possible?

• How can I change my code in Excel 2003 to allow me to paste to multiple cells?

  Ran in to a little problem. If I try to paste to multiple cells that are in the range in the code below, I get a run time error 13, type mismatch. The cells in the range may have data other than X but I only want the hyperlink to appear if the cell contains X. It works fine if I just type an X in the cell or if I paste to one cell at a time. I will have times when I want to paste other text to mutiple cells in this range. Thanks to Remnant for his help on the original code. This one last hurdle will put me in the clear. Thx. For example how could I webscrape news from Jan 2014? I am able to do this on the webpage by altering button settings, but how can I do it from within R? I was also not able to collect the importance column data. Also are there better ways for collecting economic news from within R? I have looked on http://www.rseek.org/ but could not find anything. I can copy them across using document.content.text but they come out as text (should've figured this i guess).   Hi, this is my first question on here. I'm trying to build a dial control as a custom user control in VB.NET. I'm using VS2008. so far I have managed to rotate image using graphics.rotatetransform . however, this rotate everything. When I populate summarytextbox if consulting amount is "" then dont use this code if is does have an amount include the code. Is this possible?   I have problem when asking for default ILogger from Unity container. I have this setting defined in code (its VB.net) Dim container As IUnityContainer ... container.RegisterType(Of ILogger, NullLogger)() container.RegisterType(Of ILogger, EntLibLogger)("EL") When I am getting ILogger from container I may have different name, like: Ioc.Resolve(Of ILogger)("MyLogger") However this raises error as the mapping is not set for 'MyLogger'.
