  • Jquery.form plugin and jquery.validation and it's submitHandler not working correctly... please help

    Hello guys, I was hoping someone can shed some light on what might be occurring on my page. Okay what I currently have on my page is a simple form that collects first name, last name, city, state and email. Once submitted it will hit a PHP page that updates our DB and echo's back to the designted div with a class of .response. I am using jquery.validation and placing that dynamic function within the submitHandler like so: submitHandler: function(form) { $(form).ajaxSubmit({ target: '.response', // target element(s) to be updated with server response resetForm: true, success: function() { $('#commentform').hide(); $('.response').show(); } }); So what I am getting is a div that is not being populated with the echo from my php file in FF and in IE I am getting the message of thank you but the page is taking me to the update.php script in which I have the form action pointing to. I am not sure what I am missing... Thanks, Matt

    I am interested in making a plugin for FlashDevelop to add support for another language. I am not too sure where I should start. So any starting points, hint, tips, or advice would go down well. There is a Plugin Development article on the FlashDevelop Wiki, but the section about adding support for new languages is just a "TODO". So this is less than helpful. I guess there are a number of parts to "supporting" a language in FlashDevelop. Here is my list, but feel free to tell me if I've missed something: Code Completion Syntax Highlighting Should appear in the "New Project" menu as a Template Should add file type/template to the "Add-New" menu Add the new project filetype (e.g. .as3proj, .as3proj, .hxproj). So how do I do all of these things? Where do I even start? Are there any good resources, documentation, or basic examples to follow? Can all of this (including the project templates) be done inside one plugin?

    I've read a lot about IBugTraqProvider interface and implementing an issue tracker into the commit dialog of TortoiseSVN. IBugTraqProvider is written here. Is there a more simpler way not to do it, building the plug-in and installing it on TortoiseSVN. The Document is not that clear that a developer can create its own plugin. I'm working with SalesForce as the Issue Tracker, and retrieved the WSDL file to integrate with the Working Items. Now I need to know how to connect it to TortoiseSVN. Please any suggestions?

I tried oTable.fnAddData(newRow); but that seems not to work. So I am not sure how to do this.

  • Using Kate with Simple Build Tool (SBT)

    Hello I am working with the Kate editor based on the lack of other good tools for Scala development, I am also using IntelliJ however it still has some bugs, and are slow enough to make me impatient. I have just startet using both Kate and SBT, and in that regard I have a little challenge I hope there is an answer for out there on "The Internet". I am using the standard "Build plugin" in Kate and has changed the commands from make to sbt. This works fine, and I am also getting a error report when the sbt fails during compile time. However I really wish to know if it is possible to integrate the compile errors into Kate such that it would be shown under "Errors and Warnings" instead of just in the output tab, where I have to do a manual search for the compile errors. Im guessing that it has something to do with the format of the output, if that is the case maybe it is "just" a smaller adjustment I need to make to the parsing language.

    I 've developed an eclipse plugin and in that I have a java file trying to read directories and then populate result accordingly. When I try to run the file from eclipse itself through RunJava application , it gives me proper result but as soon as I try to run the same through Eclipse Application, it is throwing NullPointerException because unable to find the directory. I tried the following ways- Suppose , I have a package as - Package - com.test.abhishek.file.java.TestWork.java Directories - com.test.abhishek.file.java.Dir1 com.test.abhishek.file.java.Dir2 Now in TestWork.java- InputStream is = LGHelpContentView.class.getResourceAsStream("/"+dirName);** The above line is getting failed. How should I keep my directory and where so that it will run as an eclipse plug-in as well.

  • CSS and jQuery slider height/positioning question

    TEST SITE If you look at the example above the slider on the right has 2 images. The first one is smaller than the second. The second is around 500px high. What I'm looking to do is expand the slider vertically depending on the height of the images inside. I believe the js is setting the height of the image when it is called from the server and I can't find a way to override it with the CSS. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you!

    hi, im making a search function for a database that uses a jtabbedpane with one tab for a quick search, and one for an advanced search. the advanced search has quite a few more fields, so it needs to be larger, but i dont want the whole window to always be at the largest size for aesthetic reasons. i have added a change listener to the pane, and tried resizing the pane based on which tab it is, and the code executes when the tab is clicked, but does nothing. ive tried using tabbedSearchPane.setSize() followed by tabbedSearchPane.validate(), as well as resizing components around it using setSize+validate, and nothing seems to do anything. i really just need to know how to ACTUALLY change the size of a jtabbedpane.

    jCarousel documentation states the following: By passing the callback function itemLoadCallback as configuration option, you are able to dynamically create (li) items for the content. {...} jCarousel contains a convenience method add() that can be passed the index of the item to create and the innerHTML string of the item to be created. My Question: Is it possible to remove all items and rebind to a new collection? BTW: I don't necessarily need a "convenience method" to do this. I'm very open to workarounds. FYI: This strategy doesn't seem to work.

  • Automating custom field creation in Redmine

    I want to write a plugin for redmine that will depend on quite a few custom fields, so I would like to create the custom fields automatically. Ideally within the plugin code, or if not by a script I can run when I install the plugin - I really don't want to have to create 10+ fields through the web interface when I set this up, especially when one is a list with quite a few values. Can anyone tell me if there are standard ways of doing this? Also is there a good way to export the custom fields from an existing installation?

    I am trying to use Authlogic-connect as a plugin in Rails 3 in place of a gem. I have made an entry in the gemfile as gem "authlogic-connect", :require => "authlogic-connect", :path => "localgems" Now when I run the bundle install, it runs fine. When I try to start the server i get the error Could not find gem 'authlogic-connect (>= 0, runtime)' in source at localgems. Source does not contain any versions of 'authlogic-connect (>= 0, runtime)' Try running `bundle install`. I have placed the unzipped Gem renamed as authlogic-connect in the localgems folder. what is the problem?     Okay I've read through the plugin comments and the docs as well and I have yet to come up with an answer as to how to do this. Here's my problem I want to use the :info_window_tabs and the :icon option, but I don't know what format to pass my information in. According to the documentation the following code should be correct. Here's my code: @mapper.overlay_init(GMarker.new([map.lat, map.lng], :title => map.name, :info_window_tabs => [ {:tab => "HTML", :content => @marker_html}, {:tab => "Attachments", :content => "stuff"}], :icon => { :image => "../images/icon.png" })) The readme and documentation can be viewed here.   • Tablesorter, Color rows depending on an specific value

    Hi all, I've been looking around for a solution to this thing but I haven't found anything similar to what I'm looking for. The thing is that I've got a table filled with data from a database, and what I want is to change the background colour of an specific row depending on a value of the class I'm loading in each row. The thing is that I have to display some data but as the fields to be displayed are quite a lot, I don't have more space to show an status field, so I would like to show the row in red if the status is inactive, and the rest of the rows in the normal color of the blue stylesheet. Is there a way to do that through tablesorter? I'm opened to suggestions, as I'm not sure how to do it. Thank you all in advance, Victor

    I've a jQuery plug-in that operates on some ULs, adding and removing classes etc. During the life-cycle of the page, I'll need to add/ remove some classes in code, and as my plug-in needs to perform some additional operations when this happens I came up with the following: // This is the initialiser method... $.fn.objectBuilder = function (options) {...}; // These are the two new methods I need. $.fn.objectBuilder.setSelected(element) {...}; $.fn.objectBuilder.removeSelected() {...}; I'd then like to call them like this: $("#ob1").objectbuilder.removeSelected(); Any thoughts?     Really, really trying to find a plugin that gives adds functionality to the image-resize functions in Wordpress's WYSIWYG editor. Something where the use of 'Gallery' is not mandatory – just an upload straight from the post editor. In a post, when an image is linked to from another site, there are less options – unlike when an image is uploaded. • You can resize, but it's 100%, 110%, 120%, 130% ....Instead of thumbnail, large, medium, etc, when you upload. •These dimension rarely match the dimensions needed. I know you can type in the W x H in the advanced tab, but my quest to find a better solution is really for the clients using the site. If anyone knows a solution / plugin / modification for this, I'd love to hear it!!

    Hello, I'm new to Ruby/Redmine/Redcloth but I'm trying to achieve the following: The default way to build a link in Textile is "foo":http://bar. However, 90% of the day I use Atlassian products, which use [foo|http://bar] as link markup. To keep everything a bit uniform I'd like to implement this in Redmine via a plugin. However, it appears that you can't change the macro syntax so instead I'll have to look into extending RedCloth to accept this form of inserting links. Does anyone know how I can achieve this?
