• WPF Create Rectangle Tags on Image from DataBinding

  I'm trying to add image tags to a WPF image and I'm not having much luck. I'd like to do it through databinding if at all possible. Can I set a resource with a DataTemplate to take care of this? • Django: Can class-based views accept two forms at a time?

  If I have two forms: class ContactForm(forms.Form): name = forms.CharField() message = forms.CharField(widget=forms.Textarea) class SocialForm(forms.Form): name = forms.CharField() message = forms.CharField(widget=forms.Textarea) and wanted to use a class based view, and send both forms to the template, is that even possible? class TestView(FormView): template_name = 'contact.html' form_class = ContactForm It seems the FormView can only accept one form at a time. In function based view though I can easily send two forms to my template and retrieve the content of both within the request.POST back. variables = {'contact_form':contact_form, 'social_form':social_form } return render(request, 'discussion.html', variables) Is this a limitation of using class based view (generic views)? I thought of SOLR because: It's got a bunch of tokenizers and performs a lot of NLP. It's pretty use to use out of the box. It's restful distributed app, so it's easy to hook up I've spent some time with it, so using could save me time. Can I use Solr? Although the above reasons are good, I don't know SOLR THAT well, so I need to know if it would be appropriate for my requirements. Ideal Usage Ideally, I'd like to configure SOLR, and then be able to send SOLR some text, and retrieve the indexed tonkenized content. Context So you guys know, I'm working on a small component of a bigger recommendation engine.

• How should I handle searching through byte arrays in Java?

  Preliminary: I am writting my own httpclient in Java. I am trying to parse out the contents of chunked encoding. Here is my dilema: Since I am trying to parse out chunked http transfer encoding with a gzip payload there is a mix of ascii and binary. I can't just take the http resp content and convert it to a string and make use of StringUtils since the binary data can easily contain nil characters. So what I need to do is some basic things for parsing out each chunk and its chunk length (as per chunked transfer/HTTP/1.1 spec). Are there any helpful ways of searching through byte arrays of binary/part ascii data for certain patterns (like a CR LF) (instead of just a single byte) ? Or must I write the for loops for this?

  I'm working with docx docs, and I need to parse a document into sections on the basis of headings styled with the "heading 1" style. So if I had a doc like this (markup is pseudocode): <doc> <title style>Doc Title</title style> <heading1>First Section</heading1> ... <heading2>Second Section</heading2> ... <heading3>Third Section</heading3> ... </doc> I'd want to break this into a doc with four sections, the first being the content that precedes the first section. I figure that this is probably pretty simple once you're familiar with Open XML, but I am not. TIA.

  I need to copy the item that user just added (for example. myresume.doc or financial.xls) with the metadata (doc lib obtains the columns from content type, ct obtains the columns from site colum) and copy the item with metadata in a folder called "NativeFile". Every doc library has this folder. I know itemadded can be used but then I heard itemadded fires before user have a chance to complete the metadata for the item they just added. What are my options? • Android WebView not respecting scaling percentage on physical devices...

  I have a WebView which I'm trying to have scale to a certain percent on loading the page. The iPhone version of this software uses the HTML meta-tag: <meta name="viewport" content="width=320, initial-scale=0.95, maximum-scale=2.0, user-scalable=1"> Since Android's WebView doesn't seem to respect that tag I hard-coded the percent using setInitialScale(). However, the WebView is just flat-out ignoring this method call. No matter what number I put in there it shows at 100%. Ideas? Update: It's working fine in the emulator, it's only failing on my Droid (Motorola) and my G1 (HTC).

  I want to make WPF window extended on the title area (like Office 2007/2010). I implemented DwmWindow (see DwmTest.zip) where I put required stuff. Commonly, it works fine except one disgusting thing: the window appears as white rectangle (see DwmIssue.png) and after a few second this rectangle disappears and the content of the window is shown (see DwmIssueCorrect.png). This bug is essential only for my window. If I remove this lines it works fine (without it aero will not showed on title): HwndSource mainWindowSrc = HwndSource.FromHwnd(handle); if (mainWindowSrc != null) mainWindowSrc.CompositionTarget.BackgroundColor = Colors.Transparent; NativeMethods.MARGINS margins = new NativeMethods.MARGINS(0, 50, 0, 0); NativeMethods.DwmExtendFrameIntoClientArea(handle, margins); How can I eliminate this white rectangle? • jquery lightbox inline - without popup

  i like jquery lightbox control looks nice and shows me a title one 1 of x images etc. I need exactly the same thing but without pop up. So whas is now visible after i click thumnail of image i want it to by visible as inline content somewhere on my page with first image loaded and then i could just use next prev. of course in this case, close would not be applicable. Does anybode know such a jquery plugin or how to change lightbox to work withoud popup? Thanks.

  On my site: http://alsite.com.br/solalev/ I have some elements on the bottom of page that I can't click through. Above the elements is a div called push.. I use this div to make the footer always stay on the bottom of my page even when the content is smaller... (I dont know if I do this right.. but it has worked).. So.. on Chrome and Firefox I can't click.. but on IE this works.... I use this: .push{ pointer-events: none; } but nothing happens...

The content admin team would like to be able to edit stores and their types in bulk. Is there a simple way to implement Store.item_types in list_editable which also allows adding new records, similar to horizontal_filter? If not, is there a straightforward guide that shows how to implement a custom list_editable template? I've been Googling but haven't been able to come up with anything. Also, if there is a simpler or better way to set up these models that would make this easier to implement, feel free to comment.

• Showing same dfp ads in a single page web application

  I have a single page web application which contains dfp ads. I have two dfp adunits that Iam firing and they are placed in between the content which is a list of articles for a particular category. When I click on another category,it just loads articles for different category(doesnt change the url in address bar) and triggers the same ads. So this is like triggering the ads on the same page. The ads dont show up the second time and this is because you cant use the same adunits on the same page. Since I cannot use the refresh function provided by dfp since my DOM is reconstructed everytime, is there any way I can do this?.

  Hello, I'm doing a university project, that must gather and combine data on a user provided topic. The problem I've encountered is that Google search results for many terms are polluted with low quality autogenerated pages and if I use them, I can end up with wrong facts. How is it possible to estimate the quality/trustworthiness of a page? You may think "nah, Google engineers are working on the problem for 10 years and he's asking for a solution", but if you think about it, SE must provide up-to-date content and if it marks a good page as a bad one, users will be dissatisfied. I don't have such limitations, so if the algorithm accidentally marks as bad some good pages, that wouldn't be a problem.

  Hi, I have a small jquery snippet that displays notification message at the top of the screen in response to user actions on a page. The notification is often displayed after Ajax actions with dynamic content inside it. For example: $("#mini-txt").html("Thank you!"); $("#mini").fadeIn("fast"); setTimeout(function() {$("#mini").animate({height: "hide", opacity: "hide"}, "medium");}, 3000); The notification works well, except when a user does two or more actions in rapid succession, in which case the TimeOut function will confuse itself and the second message appears to come inside the previous 3000 milliseconds. Is there a way to "kill" the previous notification if a new action is performed. I've got no problem with the actions/selectors, just the TimeOut function.... either stopping it or overriding it somehow. Or perhaps there's a better alternative for getting the message to linger on the screen for a few seconds before disappearing? Thank you.

• Scroll Gestures not Passed to IScrollInfo implementing panel in Windows Phone 7 CTP

  I am using a custom panel as a ItemsPanel for a ItemsControl in a with a custom template that provides for a scroll viewer. (See Xaml below.) So long as my panel does not implement IScrollInfo, scrolling works in this scenerio. I implement IScrollInfo and update my viewport and extent sizes in measure override. The scroll bar shows the correct relative size, and if I call the IScrollInfo methods directly, scrolling works as expected. However, the drag and flick gestures no longer scroll the content. Putting a breakpoint on the input of every IScrollInfo method shows that drag and pick are not calling the interface. Removing the IScrollInfo interface declaration restores the scroll on drag and flick behavior. Is there a simple way to restore the flick and pan gestures to ItemControls with panels that implement IScrollInfo?

If you read that in a well lit room, the black-on-white will be the most pleasant to read. If you read it in a dark room, the white-on-black will be nicer. • GridView styling (CSS classes) disappears

  I'm migrating a large number of stand-alone pages into content pages. Most of this involves little more than copying and pasting a GridView from one page into the new page. However, I find that styling disappears in the new project, i.e. the styles (as classes) are still present in the stylesheet, but these classes are no longer applied to GridView table elements. Example, in the old project, once a table is rendered by the GridView, its header row has a class of HeaderStyle, but in the new project this is lost, without any editing of the GridView. Is there some mysterious, built-in mechanism that automatically applies these attributes to GridView elements that I have somehow disabled?
