So, my question is if I update some of my screenshots or if I update the support url field when it will be reflects to itunes ? Or it will directly reflects once I update my current application ?   • How do you set the twitter user location in JTwitter?

    I'm building some basic Twitter functionality into my app, and am using the JTwitter JAR to read and set status. It looks like there is a User class that can be used to set the location, but I just can't figure out how to set it with my GPS coordinates once I've got my Twitter object.   • Consuming SharePoint Web Services fails when behind Proxy server

    Hi All, I've seen a number of post about consuming Web Services from behind a proxy server, but none that seams to address this problem. I'm building a desktop application, using Java, JAX-WS in NetBeans. I have a working prototype, that can query the server for authentication mode, successfully authenticate and retrieve a list of web site. However, if I run the same app from a network that is behind a proxy server (the proxy does not require authentication), then I'm running into trouble. The normal -dhttp.proxyHost ... settings does not seam to help any. But I have found that by creating a ProxySelector class and setting it as default, I can regain access to the authentication web service, but I still can't retrieve the list of web sites from the SharePoint server. Anyone have any experience on how to make this work? I have put the source text java class files of a demo app up, showing the issue at the following urls (it's a bit to long even in the short demo form to post here). link text When running the code from a network behind a proxy server, I successfully retrieve the Authentication mode from the server, but the request for the Web Site list generates an exception originating at: com.sun.xml.internal.ws.transport.http.client .HttpClientTransport.readResponseCodeAndMessage(HttpClientTransport.java:201) The output from the source when no proxy is on the network is listed below: Successfully retrieved the SharePoint WebService response for Authentication SharePoint authentication method is: WINDOWS Calling Web Service to retrieve list of web site.   • AddProximityAlert Disappears Although Expiration -1

    Hello, I want my app to have a proximityAlert until the user removes it. I use expiration -1 to create this proximityAlert. The proximityAlert works. But I find on my Droid phone, after adding a proximityAlert and leaving the phone over night for charging, the proximityAlert does not work the next day. How can I make sure that my proximityAlert is active indefinitely unless the user removes it? Thanks, Prasanna

    i am writing stored procedures in MySQL that return values; CREATE PROCEDURE getCustomerById (id int) BEGIN SELECT * FROM customer WHERE customer.id = id; END; and i get the error that the results cannot be shown in the given context. after some googling, i think that i need to set the flag "CLIENT_MULTI_RESULTS" - i am connecting the database from JDBC using a java app, but cant find where to set it! any suggestions?

    Hey there, i have tried to render some files with HAML in Rails 3. But HAMl doesn`t work. My testfiles have the extension .html.haml. In the GEMFile i have written gem 'haml' and executed the bundle install When i call my testapp i become an error like this: Template is missing Missing template posts/index with {:locale=>[:en, :en], :formats=>[:html], :handlers=>[:rjs, :rhtml, :rxml, :builder, :erb]} in view paths "/Users/piet/Sites/blog/app/views" Hope, i become some help here.   • iPhone localization - some localized XIBs do not load

    Hello, I have made an iPhone app with localized versions. It mostly works fine, but there are two views in which localized NIBs do not load. Standard NIBs (in English) are used. I am sure I made localization properly ("Get Info", "Make file localizable", "Add Localization", added "pl" - for Polish, and then edited created NIB). All the other views are fine. What might be the problem? Thanks for helping me.

  • Calling COM Library From XBAP

    I am trying to call an old COM library from my XBAP and continue to receive the following exception: System.AccessViolationException was unhandled Message: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. I have tried adding the HKLM value for RunUnrestricted to no avail. I don't get anything else but this error when calling the library. Any ideas? (This library even works from a pure ASP.NET app)

  • iPhone: value of selectedIndex for tab should be consistent, but isn't

    This should be so simple... but something screwy is happening. My setup looks like this: MainViewController Tab Bar Controller 4 tabs, each of which loads WebViewController My AppDelegate contains an ivar, tabBarController, which is connected to the tab bar controller (this was all set up in Interface Builder). The leftmost tab is marked "selected" in IB. Within the viewWillAppear method in WebViewController, I need to know which tab was just selected so I can load the correct URL. I do this by switching on appDelegate.tabBarController.selectedIndex. When the app first runs and the leftmost tab is selected, selectedIndex is a large garbage value. After that, I get values from 0 to 3, which is as it should be, but they are in random order. Not only that, but each tab I touch reports a different value each time. This app is extremely simple right now and I can't imagine what I could have done to make things go this wrong. Has anyone seen (and hopefully solved) this behavior? Update: we have a request for code. There's not much to see. The tab bar controller gets loaded in applicationDidFinishLaunching: [self.mainViewController view]; //force nib to load [self.window addSubview:self.mainViewController.tabBarController.view] There is currently no code whatsoever in MainViewController.m other than the synthesize and release for tabBarController.     I'm hoping this is just a bug on Facebook's end that will be fixed soon, but in my Facebook Connect app I'm launching the dialogue FB provides to make a post. This dialogue is launched on a page with an SSL connection. In this dialogue the profile pic for some users comes up with a security warning while others display correctly. I'm already setup to use Facebook's SSL javascript file instead of the HTTP file.

    Hi all, I'm writing a Google Maps app that requests data from the server using jQuery's $.ajax() to send the request to my MVC Contoller. This control expects a List for the category types. What should the querystring look like for this? I've tried http://localhost:9090/mapamenities?amenityTypes=1,5 http://localhost:9090/mapamenities?amenityTypes=[1,5] with no luck. To be blunt the person needs to show the application on the simulator and is not capable of compiling the source code and I don't have the time to produce the instructions.
