  Hi, I have recenlty stumbled into Zend Lucene port of Lucene project. I have a little bit experience with SOLR so I would like to know what is the difference between two of them especially from performance and installation side. As much as I know SOLR requires Tomcat serverlet running in web hosting in order to work, what about Zend Lucene library? I am also a bit confused what means "being implemented on the top of Lucene"?

• Adding images to a JAR file in Eclipse?

  I'm trying to make a game in java, but I'm a bit of a newb. The game has images, and when I run the application from eclipse, they all show up fine. But when I export the project as an application, the images don't show up. When I put the application in the same folder as the images, they show up when I run the application, so someone suggested that I just need to put the image files inside my JAR. Can someone tell me how? Thank you

  I need a way of generating a word document (from a template or something) and inserting an image at a specific place. Does anyone have any pointers on the best way to do this? I worked on a project that used Office Automation in .NET 1.1 a few years ago, and it was really unspeakably poor.   I have richTextBox1, and here is the contents: line one from my textbox is this, and i want this to be normal, arial, 8 point non-bold font line two, i want everything after the | to be bolded... | this is bold line three: everything in brackets i (want) to be the color (Red) line 4 is "this line is going to be /slanted/ or with italics and so on, basically if I know how to do what I mentioned above, I'll know everything I need to know to complete my project.   I'm looking for a Python IDE that can help me easily locate and manage and use the libraries on my system (Ubuntu). Specifically Twisted. Code completion is important including the symbols I import. (I've so far had a look at PyDev as well as OpenKomodo, but while both offer code completion for default Python concepts, I wasn't able to get either to import Twisted into my project and was thus getting reference errors.) Usual disclaimer: I don't like EMACS or vi, please, nothing regarding those.

  If you have a C++ project that has a bunch of .ODL files and the generated .h files from the ODL compiler, should doxygen be told to parse both .odl and .h, or only one or the other? In general I don't like documenting generated code but IDL is sort of a special case. In any case, it seems like the member listing of ODL files is not quite working properly in my tests, are ODL files properly parsed?
