  • JqGrid addJSONData + ASP.NET 2.0 WS

    - by MilosC
    Dear community ! I am a bit lost. I' ve tried to implement a solution based on JqGrid and tried to use function as datatype. I've setted all by the book i guess, i get WS invoked and get JASON back, I got succes on clientside in ajaf call and i "bind" jqGrid using addJSONData but grid remains empty. I do not have any glue now... other "local" samples on same pages works without a problem (jsonstring ...) My WS method looks like : [WebMethod] [ScriptMethod(ResponseFormat = ResponseFormat.Json)] public string GetGridData() { // Load a list InitSessionVariables(); SA.DB.DenarnaEnota.DenarnaEnotaDB db = new SAOP.SA.DB.DenarnaEnota.DenarnaEnotaDB(); DataSet ds = db.GetLookupForDenarnaEnota(SAOP.FW.DB.RecordStatus.All); // Turn into HTML friendly format GetGridData summaryList = new GetGridData(); summaryList.page = "1"; summaryList.total = "10"; summaryList.records = "160"; int i = 0; foreach (DataRow dr in ds.Tables[0].Rows) { GridRows row = new GridRows(); row.id = dr["DenarnaEnotaID"].ToString(); row.cell = "[" + "\"" + dr["DenarnaEnotaID"].ToString() + "\"" + "," + "\"" + dr["Kratica"].ToString() + "\"" + "," + "\"" + dr["Naziv"].ToString() + "\"" + "," + "\"" + dr["Sifra"].ToString() + "\"" + "]"; summaryList.rows.Add(row); } return JsonConvert.SerializeObject(summaryList); } my ASCX code is this: jQuery(document).ready(function(){ jQuery("#list").jqGrid({ datatype : function (postdata) { jQuery.ajax({ url:'../../AjaxWS/TemeljnicaEdit.asmx/GetGridData', data:'{}', dataType:'json', type: 'POST', contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8", complete: function(jsondata,stat){ if(stat=="success") { var clearJson = jsondata.responseText; var thegrid = jQuery("#list")[0]; var myjsongrid = eval('('+clearJson+')'); alfs thegrid.addJSONData(myjsongrid.replace(/\\/g,'')); } } } ); }, colNames:['DenarnaEnotaID','Kratica', 'Sifra', 'Naziv'], colModel:[ {name:'DenarnaEnotaID',index:'DenarnaEnotaID', width:100}, {name:'Kratica',index:'Kratica', width:100}, {name:'Sifra',index:'Sifra', width:100}, {name:'Naziv',index:'Naziv', width:100}], rowNum:15, rowList:[15,30,100], pager: jQuery('#pager'), sortname: 'id', // loadtext:"Nalagam zapise...", // viewrecords: true, sortorder: "desc", // caption:"Vrstice", // width:"800", imgpath: "../Scripts/JGrid/themes/basic/images"}); }); from WS i GET JSON like this: {”page”:”1?,”total”:”10?,”records”:”160?,”rows”:[{"id":"18","cell":"["18","BAM","Konvertibilna marka","977"]“},{”id”:”19?,”cell”:”["19","RSD","Srbski dinar","941"]“},{”id”:”20?,”cell”:”["20","AFN","Afgani","971"]“},{”id”:”21?,”cell”:”["21","ALL","Lek","008"]“},{”id”:”22?,”cell”:”["22","DZD","Alžirski dinar","012"]“},{”id”:”23?,”cell”:”["23","AOA","Kvanza","973"]“},{”id”:”24?,”cell”:”["24","XCD","Vzhodnokaribski dolar","951"]“},{”id”:”25?,”cell”:” ……………… ["13","PLN","Poljski zlot","985"]“},{”id”:”14?,”cell”:”["14","SEK","Švedska krona","752"]“},{”id”:”15?,”cell”:”["15","SKK","Slovaška krona","703"]“},{”id”:”16?,”cell”:”["16","USD","Ameriški dolar","840"]“},{”id”:”17?,”cell”:”["17","XXX","Nobena valuta","000"]“},{”id”:”1?,”cell”:”["1","SIT","Slovenski tolar","705"]“}]} i have registered this js : clientSideScripts.RegisterClientScriptFile("prototype.js", CommonFunctions.FixupUrlWithoutSessionID("~/WebUI/Scripts/prototype-1.6.0.2.js")); clientSideScripts.RegisterClientScriptFile("jquery.js", CommonFunctions.FixupUrlWithoutSessionID("~/WebUI/Scripts/JGrid/jquery.js")); clientSideScripts.RegisterClientScriptFile("jquery.jqGrid.js", CommonFunctions.FixupUrlWithoutSessionID("~/WebUI/Scripts/JGrid/jquery.jqGrid.js")); clientSideScripts.RegisterClientScriptFile("jqModal.js", CommonFunctions.FixupUrlWithoutSessionID("~/WebUI/Scripts/JGrid/js/jqModal.js")); clientSideScripts.RegisterClientScriptFile("jqDnR.js", CommonFunctions.FixupUrlWithoutSessionID("~/WebUI/Scripts/JGrid/js/jqDnR.js")); Basical i think it must be something stupid ...but i can figure it out now... Help wanted.

  • Troubleshooting Windows Authentication problems (no challenge) in IIS 7.5?

    - by Aaronaught
I know that there are thousands of reports of people having trouble getting Integrated Windows Authentication to work with IIS, but they all seem to lead to web pages that don't apply or solutions that I've already tried. I've deployed dozens of sites like this before, so either there's something bizarre going on with the server/configuration, or I've been looking at this too long and not seeing the obvious. Simply put, everything works perfectly on my local machine, but falls apart on the production server, which as far as I can tell has the exact same configuration. On the local machine: The machine is running Windows 7 Ultimate, Service Pack 1, IIS 7.5. The site has been tested successfully, using both IIS and the VS Web Development Server. The IIS site config has all authentication methods disabled except Windows Authentication. The local machine is not on any domain. The Providers set up are Negotiate and NTLM (not Negotiate:Kerberos). Extended Protection is Off. All browsers tested (IE, Firefox, Chrome) show the challenge prompt and allow me to log in to the localhost domain with my (local) Windows account. All browsers tested also work using an opaque local IP address - so the browsers themselves don't seem to care whether the site appears "local" or "remote". I've added a display line to the web page which shows the currently-logged-in user and it shows exactly what I would expect (whichever local user I logged in with). On the remote machine: The server is running Windows Server 2008 R2, IIS 7.5. Loading the web page results in an immediate 401.2 error: You are not authorized to view this page due to invalid authentication headers. No challenge prompt ever appears. The IIS site config has all authentication methods disabled except Windows Authentication. The remote machine is not on any domain. The Providers set up are Negotiate and NTLM (not Negotiate:Kerberos). Extended Protection is Off. On the remote machine (remote desktop session), the same error appears in Internet Explorer regardless of whether the domain is localhost or the external IP address. If I try to view the remote web site from my local machine, the error is still 401, but a slightly different 401. No subcode, with the text: Access is denied due to invalid credentials. The Windows Authentication IIS role feature is installed. The WindowsAuthentication Module is added (at the Server level). The exact same error occurs if I turn off Windows Authentication and enable Basic Authentication. The site does load if I turn off Windows Authentication and enable Anonymous (obviously). I've already followed all of the troubleshooting steps on Microsoft Support: Troubleshooting HTTP 401 errors in IIS I've already tried the workaround shown on another Microsoft support page (supposedly to force NTLM as the only method). Last but not least, I tried turning on FREB for 401.2 errors and the results don't seem to tell me anything useful, all I see is the following warning: MODULE_SET_RESPONSE_ERROR_STATUS ModuleName IIS Web Core Notification 2 HttpStatus 401 HttpReason Unauthorized HttpSubStatus 2 ErrorCode 2147942405 ConfigExceptionInfo Notification AUTHENTICATE_REQUEST ErrorCode Access is denied. (0x80070005) ...this seems to just be telling me what I already know (that it's simply rejecting the request instead of negotiating the credentials). The trace does indicate that the WindowsAuthentication module is correctly loaded because there is a NOTIFY_MODULE_START line with ModuleName = WindowsAuthentication (and various other ASP.NET follow-up events - [un]fortunately, no interesting errors or warnings here). Can anyone tell me what I might be missing here? Quick Update: I'm a little uncomfortable sending a whole Wireshark dump as it would reveal IPs, URLs and other stuff, but I did a side-by-side comparison of the HTTP responses from localhost and the remote server in Fiddler, and it seems fairly self-evident what the problem is: Localhost: HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized Cache-Control: private Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Server: Microsoft-IIS/7.5 WWW-Authenticate: Negotiate WWW-Authenticate: NTLM X-Powered-By: ASP.NET Date: Sat, 17 Dec 2011 23:42:34 GMT Content-Length: 6399 Proxy-Support: Session-Based-Authentication Remote: HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized Content-Type: text/html Server: Microsoft-IIS/7.5 X-Powered-By: ASP.NET Date: Sat, 17 Dec 2011 23:43:13 GMT Content-Length: 1293 Aside from a few seemingly-inconsequential differences like cache-control, the main difference is that the remote server is not sending the WWW-Authenticate headers back to the client. So, I guess that narrows the question down to: Why is IIS not sending WWW-Authenticate headers when Windows Authentication appears to be installed, loaded, and exclusively enabled?

  • ASA hairpining: I basicaly want to allow 2 spokes to be able to communicate with each other.

    - by Thirst4Knowledge
ASA Spoke to Spoke Communication I have been looking at spke to spoke comms or "hairpining" for months and have posted on numerouse forums but to no avail. I have a Hub and spoke network where the HUB is an ASA Firewall version 8.2 * I basicaly want to allow 2 spokes to be able to communicate with each other. I think that I have got the concept of the ASA Config for example: same-security-traffic permit intra-interface access-list HQ-LAN extended permit ip ASA-LAN 255.255.248.0 HQ-LAN 255.255.255.0 access-list HQ-LAN extended permit ip 192.168.99.0 255.255.255.0 HQ-LAN 255.255.255.0 access-list no-nat extended permit ip ASA_LAN 255.255.248.0 HQ-LAN 255.255.255.0 access-list no-nat extended permit ip HQ-LAN 255.255.255.0 192.168.99.0 255.255.255.0 access-list no-nat extended permit ip 192.168.99.0 255.255.255.0 HQ-LAN 255.255.255.0 I think my problem may be that the other spokes are not CIsco Firewalls and I need to work out how to do the alternative setups. I want to at least make sure that my firewall etup is correct then I can move onto the other spokes here is my config: Hostname ASA domain-name mydomain.com names ! interface Ethernet0/0 speed 100 • Cisco Anyconnect Issue on HTC HD2

    - by Myles
Hello, We've just got a HTC HD2 handset through (UK - T-mobile); and we've installed the Cisco Anyconnect client. It connects ok but then after a few seconds disconnects, then reconnects. It then keeps cycling through in this way, and at no point can we even attempt to sync Exchange! Our ASA 5510 reports; Group User IP <149.254.217.2 SVC Message: 17/ERROR: Reconnecting to recover from error.. And from the phone log; 10:56:03Debug Function: CSocketTransport::getTransportMTU File: ..\IPC\SocketTransport.cpp Line: 1058 Invoked Function: CNetInterface::GetTcpIpMTU Return Code: -32571377 (0xFE0F000F) Description: NETINTERFACE_ERROR_INTERFACE_NOT_AVAILABLE Does anyone have any advice on why it's constantly disconnecting? The phone log does suggest a lack of service; but the phone can browse the net, make calls, etc and appears to have good signal throughout. We did try the Anyconnect software on a Windows 7 PC which worked fine, no drop outs. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Myles

  • OpenVPN - Ubuntu 10.04 - Client Can't Connect to Server - Linux Route Add Command Failed

    - by nicorellius
I suppose this could be asked on Server Fault as well, but it is specific to the client so I thought I'd start here. I have keys for access to an OpenVPN server already in place. I have used these keys to connect already, but using a Windows XP machine. On a Ubuntu machine, I installed OpenVPN and then configured client.conf file so that I could run: sudo openvpn --config client.conf And it seems correct but I still can't connect and get these errors and lines of output: Mon May 31 14:34:57 2010 ERROR: Linux route add command failed: external program exited with error status: 7 Mon May 31 14:34:57 2010 /sbin/route add -net 10.8.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.255 gw 10.8.0.17 SIOCADDRT: File exists Mon May 31 14:34:57 2010 ERROR: Linux route add command failed: external program exited with error status: 7 Mon May 31 14:34:57 2010 Initialization Sequence Completed I searched the net for forums and ideas and tried some file moving and renaming but still ended up in the same place.

  • Need help trouble shooting high CPU usage by PHP-fpm

    - by user432506
There is a problem that is driving me crazy. After the day I tried to fix the CPU usage problem of my VPS, the CPU load has grown from 60% to 150%, and I have no idea what causes the problem. Please help me. I had installed a copy of mediawiki on a Linode 1024. The wiki is running on Niginx + PHP-fpm + MySql. The wiki doesn't have much traffic, only around 4000 requests/day, mostly from Google and Bing bots. It had been using around 60% (of total 400% on the Linode) of the CPU before. I thought it was a bit high, so two day ago, I was trying to fix the problem (not knowing what was waiting for me). I did nothing but added a new empty line to wiki's configure file, which would change the modified time of the configure file, and then all the cached page files would be set invalidated. I had done that before, and that would cause high CPU usage, but normally it would take only hours to let things back to normal again. Not this time, my CPU usage has been around 150% for more than two days. It is php-fpm using most of CPU reassures. Using 100% of three cores is not rare. I hadn't seen that before. There are other sites on the Linode, but it should be the wiki. Because if I offline the wiki, CPU usage will drop back to around 40% soon. The day I also duplicated php-fpm.conf, and opened it, but didn't changed it. I have no idea what I did wrong. I here ask for help to save myself from being crazy!!! It is php-fpm. Is there a way to find out what is it doing? • Kernel Panic on VMware Workstation 7.1.3

    - by i.h4d35
I've been trying to install either Arch Linux or Fedora 17 on VMWare Workstation (7.1.3). After I point to the right ISO image, I get the following error: Booting the kernel PANIC: early exception 0d rip:ffffffff81042dc4 error 0 cr2 0 I am trying to install it on a machine which has a 3rd generation i5 processor. After checking A VMWare panic early exception fix for ivy bridge i3, i5, i7, I tried to turn off the nosmep acpi. This is around, I get the same error but at a different address. Apparently, others have faced this issue before. Thanks in advance.

  • Debugging matchit plugin in vim (under Cygwin)

    - by system PAUSE
    The "matchit" plugin for vim is supposed to allow you to use the % key to jump between matching start/end tags when editing HTML, as well as /* and */ comment delimiters when editing other kinds of code. I've followed the exact instructions in ":help matchit", but % still doesn't work for me. It seems silly to ask "Why doesn't this work?" so instead I'm asking How can I diagnose the problem? Pointers to references are welcome, but specific vim-plugin-debugging techniques are preferred. Here is the ~/.vim directory: $ ls -ltaGR ~/.vim /cygdrive/y/.vim: total 0 drwxr-xr-x 1 spause 0 Sep 17 13:20 .. drwxr-xr-x 1 spause 0 Sep 16 13:59 doc drwxr-xr-x 1 spause 0 Sep 16 13:58 . drwxr-xr-x 1 spause 0 Sep 16 13:58 plugin /cygdrive/y/.vim/doc: total 24 -rw-r--r-- 1 spause 1961 Sep 16 13:59 tags drwxr-xr-x 1 spause 0 Sep 16 13:59 . -rw-r--r-- 1 spause 19303 Sep 16 13:58 matchit.txt drwxr-xr-x 1 spause 0 Sep 16 13:58 .. /cygdrive/y/.vim/plugin: total 32 drwxr-xr-x 1 spause 0 Sep 16 13:58 .. -rw-r--r-- 1 spause 30714 Sep 16 13:58 matchit.vim drwxr-xr-x 1 spause 0 Sep 16 13:58 . • Problem with "Transfer-Encoding: chunked" in Apache 2.2

    - by Michal Niklas
One of client of our web service uses axis2 application that sends HTTP 1.1 query with: Transfer-Encoding: chunked header. Such query is refused by our Apache 2.2 with message: <title>411 Length Required</title> </head><body> <h1>Length Required</h1> <p>A request of the requested method POST requires a valid Content-length.<br /> In Apache logs there is: [Mon May 17 09:06:04 2010] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] chunked Transfer-Encoding forbidden: /app/webservices/soap.hdb When I send such message without Transfer-Encoding: chunked and with Content-Length all works ok. I searched how to solve this problem, but I found only how to disable Transfer-Encoding: chunked on client side. Is there any way to do it on server side?

  • How to set up spf records to send mail from google hosted apps to gmail addresses

    - by Chris Adams
Hi there, I'm trying to work out why email I send from one domain I own is rejected by another that I own, and while I think it may be related to how I've setup spf records, I'm not sure what steps I need to take to fix it. • Can't install kernel-uek-headers for currently running kernel

    - by haydenc2
    I have just created a VM in VMWare and installed a minimal install of Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.3. # cat /etc/oracle-release Oracle Linux Server release 6.3 It is running with the UEK kernel. # uname -r 2.6.39-200.24.1.el6uek.x86_64 When I try and install VMWare Tools, I get the following error. Searching for a valid kernel header path... The path "" is not a valid path to the 2.6.39-200.24.1.el6uek.x86_64 kernel headers. Would you like to change it? [yes] I have version 2.6.39 of the UEK installed, but the kernel-uek-headers are only 2.6.32. # yum list kernel-uek Installed Packages kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.39-200.24.1.el6uek @anaconda-UEK2/6.3 kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.39-200.29.3.el6uek @ol6_UEK_latest # yum list kernel-uek-headers Installed Packages kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-300.32.2.el6uek @ol6_latest And it appears that the headers for 2.6.39 aren't there. # yum list kernel-uek-headers --showduplicates Installed Packages kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-300.32.2.el6uek @ol6_latest Available Packages kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-100.28.5.el6 ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-100.28.9.el6 ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-100.28.11.el6 ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-100.28.15.el6 ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-100.28.17.el6 ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-100.34.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-100.35.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-100.36.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-100.37.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-200.16.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-200.19.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-200.20.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-200.23.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-300.3.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-300.4.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-300.7.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-300.11.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-300.20.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-300.21.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-300.24.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-300.25.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-300.27.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-300.29.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-300.29.2.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-300.32.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek-headers.x86_64 2.6.32-300.32.2.el6uek ol6_latest The kernel for 2.6.32 is there. # yum list kernel-uek --showduplicates Installed Packages kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.39-200.24.1.el6uek @anaconda-UEK2/6.3 kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.39-200.29.3.el6uek @ol6_UEK_latest Available Packages kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-100.28.5.el6 ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-100.28.9.el6 ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-100.28.11.el6 ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-100.28.15.el6 ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-100.28.17.el6 ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-100.34.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-100.35.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-100.36.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-100.37.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-200.16.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-200.19.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-200.20.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-200.23.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-300.3.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-300.4.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-300.7.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-300.11.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-300.20.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-300.21.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-300.24.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-300.25.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-300.27.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-300.29.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-300.29.2.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-300.32.1.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.32-300.32.2.el6uek ol6_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.39-100.5.1.el6uek ol6_UEK_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.39-100.6.1.el6uek ol6_UEK_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.39-100.7.1.el6uek ol6_UEK_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.39-100.10.1.el6uek ol6_UEK_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.39-200.24.1.el6uek ol6_UEK_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.39-200.29.1.el6uek ol6_UEK_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.39-200.29.2.el6uek ol6_UEK_latest kernel-uek.x86_64 2.6.39-200.29.3.el6uek ol6_UEK_latest Should I downgrade the kernel to 2.6.32 so I can install VMWare tools? • Android: OutOfMemoryError while uploading video...

    - by AP257
    Hi all, I have the same problem as described here, but I will supply a few more details. While trying to upload a video in Android, I'm reading it into memory, and if the video is large I get an OutOfMemoryError. Here's my code: // get bytestream to upload videoByteArray = getBytesFromFile(cR, fileUriString); public static byte[] getBytesFromFile(ContentResolver cR, String fileUriString) throws IOException { Uri tempuri = Uri.parse(fileUriString); InputStream is = cR.openInputStream(tempuri); byte[] b3 = readBytes(is); is.close(); return b3; } public static byte[] readBytes(InputStream inputStream) throws IOException { ByteArrayOutputStream byteBuffer = new ByteArrayOutputStream(); // this is storage overwritten on each iteration with bytes int bufferSize = 1024; byte[] buffer = new byte[bufferSize]; int len = 0; while ((len = inputStream.read(buffer)) != -1) { byteBuffer.write(buffer, 0, len); } return byteBuffer.toByteArray(); } And here's the traceback (the error is thrown on the byteBuffer.write(buffer, 0, len) line): 04-08 11:56:20.456: ERROR/dalvikvm-heap(6088): Out of memory on a 16775184-byte allocation. 04-08 11:56:20.456: INFO/dalvikvm(6088): "IntentService[UploadService]" prio=5 tid=17 RUNNABLE 04-08 11:56:20.456: INFO/dalvikvm(6088): | group="main" sCount=0 dsCount=0 s=N obj=0x449a3cf0 self=0x38d410 04-08 11:56:20.456: INFO/dalvikvm(6088): | sysTid=6119 nice=0 sched=0/0 cgrp=default handle=4010416 04-08 11:56:20.456: INFO/dalvikvm(6088): at java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream.expand(ByteArrayOutputStream.java:~93) 04-08 11:56:20.456: INFO/dalvikvm(6088): at java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream.write(ByteArrayOutputStream.java:218) 04-08 11:56:20.456: INFO/dalvikvm(6088): at com.android.election2010.UploadService.readBytes(UploadService.java:199) 04-08 11:56:20.456: INFO/dalvikvm(6088): at com.android.election2010.UploadService.getBytesFromFile(UploadService.java:182) 04-08 11:56:20.456: INFO/dalvikvm(6088): at com.android.election2010.UploadService.doUploadinBackground(UploadService.java:118) 04-08 11:56:20.456: INFO/dalvikvm(6088): at com.android.election2010.UploadService.onHandleIntent(UploadService.java:85) 04-08 11:56:20.456: INFO/dalvikvm(6088): at android.app.IntentService$ServiceHandler.handleMessage(IntentService.java:30) 04-08 11:56:20.456: INFO/dalvikvm(6088): at android.os.Handler.dispatchMessage(Handler.java:99) 04-08 11:56:20.456: INFO/dalvikvm(6088): at android.os.Looper.loop(Looper.java:123) 04-08 11:56:20.456: INFO/dalvikvm(6088): at android.os.HandlerThread.run(HandlerThread.java:60) 04-08 11:56:20.467: WARN/dalvikvm(6088): threadid=17: thread exiting with uncaught exception (group=0x4001b180) 04-08 11:56:20.467: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(6088): Uncaught handler: thread IntentService[UploadService] exiting due to uncaught exception 04-08 11:56:20.467: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(6088): java.lang.OutOfMemoryError 04-08 11:56:20.467: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(6088): at java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream.expand(ByteArrayOutputStream.java:93) 04-08 11:56:20.467: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(6088): at java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream.write(ByteArrayOutputStream.java:218) 04-08 11:56:20.467: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(6088): at com.android.election2010.UploadService.readBytes(UploadService.java:199) 04-08 11:56:20.467: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(6088): at com.android.election2010.UploadService.getBytesFromFile(UploadService.java:182) 04-08 11:56:20.467: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(6088): at com.android.election2010.UploadService.doUploadinBackground(UploadService.java:118) 04-08 11:56:20.467: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(6088): at com.android.election2010.UploadService.onHandleIntent(UploadService.java:85) 04-08 11:56:20.467: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(6088): at android.app.IntentService$ServiceHandler.handleMessage(IntentService.java:30) 04-08 11:56:20.467: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(6088): at android.os.Handler.dispatchMessage(Handler.java:99) 04-08 11:56:20.467: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(6088): at android.os.Looper.loop(Looper.java:123) 04-08 11:56:20.467: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(6088): at android.os.HandlerThread.run(HandlerThread.java:60) 04-08 11:56:20.496: INFO/Process(4657): Sending signal. But (newbie question alert) does that mean that I should make multiple PostMethod requests, and glue the file together at the server end? Or can I load the bytestream into memory in chunks, and glue it together in the Android code? If anyone could give me a clue as to the best approach, I would be very grateful.

  • Openswan + xl2tpd connections time out after a while

    - by Halfgaar
I have a non-NATed Openswan+xl2tpd server (Ubuntu 12.04), to which I connect with a Windows 8 behind NAT. The client loses its connection after a while of doing nothing (between 30 and 60 minutes, but I didn't time it). The client doesn't have enabled that it should kill inactive connections. Nor does it ever go into sleep mode. I also tried setting the kill-after-time to 24 hours, but that didn't help. The NAT router behind which the client located is Debian Linux, and its router is a Cisco which connects us directly to the data center where the server is. None of our other connections, like SSH, get dropped with inactivity (because of cheap routers). I did however try turning on the keepalives in /etc/ipsec.conf: config setup (...snip...) nat_traversal=yes force_keepalive=yes keep_alive=10 but that didn't help. As you can see in the config later, dead peer detection's action is clear. That would be a first suggestion to fix, but I need clear, because people will be connecting from everwhere but the kitchen sink. Besides, as I said, in the test setup I have now, I can't see any device killing its connection. • Re-using SPSS 18 Trial in OSX?

    - by Telos
A friend of mine needs to use SPSS for a project she is working on, and would normally have access to it in her school's library. Unfortunately she's out of town for the next couple weeks, and she's already gone through the trial version once. Is there some way she would be able to re-use the trial version? I've already had her try running a program meant to remove all files associated with a program, but that didn't work it still says she's used up her trial time. Her idea is to install a trial for an earlier version (like SPSS 17 instead of 18) but we're not sure where she would find that either. Any thoughts on how to get her up and running?

  • Why does my MacBook Pro have long ping times over Wi-Fi?

    - by randynov
I have been having problems connecting with my Wi-Fi. It is weird, the ping times to the router (<30 feet away) seem to surge, often getting over 10 seconds before slowly coming back down. You can see the trend below. I'm on a MacBook Pro and have done the normal stuff (reset the PRAM and SMC, changed wireless channels, etc.). It happens across different routers, so I think it must be my laptop, but I don't know what it could be. The RSSI value hovers around -57, but I've seen the transmit rate flip between 0, 48 and 54. • Open vSwitch and Xen Private Networks

    - by Joe
I've read about the possibilities of using Open vSwitch with Xen to route traffic between domUs on multiple physical hosts. I'd like to be able to group the multiple domUs I have spread out across multiple physical hosts into a number of private networks. However, I've found no documentation on how to integrate Open vSwitch with Xen (rather than XenServer) and am unsure how I should go about doing so and then creating the private networks described. As you might have gathered then - from research I think Open vSwitch can do what I need it to, but I just can't find anything giving me a push in the right direction of how to actually use it to do so! This may well be because Open vSwitch is quite new (version 1.0 released on May 17). Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated!

  • Why can blocked IPs get through my iptables? What's wrong with this configuration?

  • Running a scheduled task as SYSTEM with console window open

    - by raoulsson
I am auto creating scheduled tasks with this line within a batch windows script: schtasks /Create /RU SYSTEM /RP SYSTEM /TN startup-task-%%i /TR %SPEEDWAY_DIR%\%TARGET_DIR%%%i\%STARTUPFILE% /SC HOURLY /MO 1 /ST 17:%%i1:00 I wanted to avoid using specific user credentials and thus decided to use SYSTEM. Now, when checking in the taskmanagers process list or, even better, directly with the C:\> schtasks command itself, all is working well, the tasks are running as intended. However in this particular case I would like to have an open console window where I can see the log flying by. I know I could use C:\> tail -f thelogfile.log if I installed e.g. cygwin (on all machines) or some proprietary tools like Baretail on Windows. But since I only switch to these machines in case of trouble, I would prefer to start the scheduled task in such a way that every user immediately sees the log. Any chance? Thanks!

  • Why does my macbook pro have long ping times over wifi?

    - by randynov
I have been having problems connecting with my wifi. It is weird, the ping times to the router (<30 feet away) seem to surge, often getting over 10s before slowly coming back down. You can see the trend below. I'm on a macbook pro and have done the normal stuff (reset the pram and smc, changed wireless channels, etc.). It happens across different routers, so I think it must be my laptop, but I don't know what it could be. The RSSI value hovers around -57, but I've seen the transmit rate flip between 0, 48 & 54. The signal strength is ~60% with 9% noise. Currently, there are 17 other wireless networks in range, but only one in the same channel. 1 - How can I figure out what's going on? 2 - How can I correct the situation? TIA! • Mounting NFS share between OSX and Centos VM

    - by Adam
I'm having issues mounting an NFS share I've made on my Mac host (server) from a Centos VM (client). I'm getting a permission denied error. I have this line in /etc/exports on server: /Users/adam/Sites/ 192.168.1.223(rw) and in /etc/fstab on client: 192.168.1.186:/Users/adam/Sites/ /home/adam/Sites/ nfs rw 0 0 I'm sure this is a simple configuration issue, but I've never set up NFS properly before. Extra info: # mount -v 192.168.1.186:/Users/adam/Sites/ /home/adam/Sites/ mount: no type was given - I'll assume nfs because of the colon mount.nfs: timeout set for Mon Nov 26 07:31:40 2012 mount.nfs: trying text-based options 'vers=4,addr=192.168.1.186,clientaddr=192.168.1.223' mount.nfs: mount(2): Protocol not supported mount.nfs: trying text-based options 'addr=192.168.1.186' mount.nfs: prog 100003, trying vers=3, prot=6 mount.nfs: trying 192.168.1.186 prog 100003 vers 3 prot TCP port 2049 mount.nfs: prog 100005, trying vers=3, prot=17 mount.nfs: trying 192.168.1.186 prog 100005 vers 3 prot UDP port 958 mount.nfs: mount(2): Permission denied mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting 192.168.1.186:/Users/adam/Sites/
