• Connect Infopath form To Outlook - shows as xml

  In Sharepoint, i have a Forms Library. I would like to connect it to oulook. The problem is that once I do that, Outlook will display the forms in a .XML rendering...a bunch of text, not very user friendly. (I am using Sharepoint 2010, InfoPath 2010, Outlook 2010) Am I missing some kind of settings? How can I display the forms in Outlook in a rendered type of view. (I have tried this with Forms that open in Browser, as well as with Forms that open in Client application, with the same results for both.)

  I have WPF Application. My Application consist of 2 exe files: Notifier.exe and MainApp.exe. Notifier is system tray popup application which check the remote server in equal intervals and get the list of current documents of user. When user click on one of the documents in list in Notification popup I open MainApp.exe and show required document in new tab. But When user click on another document in list it open new MainApp.exe process. Question: How Can I connect specific (already opened) process in the operating system and create some object in it?

  I have 2 Virtual Machines, One with MS SQL server 2008 R2, other with MS SQL Server 2012 Express.... On 1 I have configuration for replication (publication), and I would like to setup Express version like subscriber. but I can't to connect to publisher SQL Server replication requires the actual server name to make a connection to the server. Specify the actual server name, 'XXXX'. (Replication.Utilities) I have tried to cheat and added XXXX server name to hosts file, but it dos't help. Additianlly I used to run http://www.hagrin.com/332/fixing-sql-server-replication-requires-actual-server-name-make-connection-server-error action for setup publication in correct way What I need to do for successful connection ?

  Hi all I need to connect 2 tables from 2 mysql databases that have 2 different connection strings and each is on the different server. I have this query: cmd = new MySqlCommand(String.Format("INSERT INTO {0} (a,b,c,d) SELECT (a,b,c,d) FROM {1}", ConfigSettings.ReadSetting("main_table"), ConfigSettings.ReadSetting("main_table")), con); So both table have the same columns. Thats why I have only one ConfigSettings.ReadSetting("main_table") for both of them as they are same. I have 2 connection strings and each is pointing to their server: con.ConnectionString = ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["con1"].ConnectionString; con2.ConnectionString = ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["con2"].ConnectionString; How to make this cmd to be workking with 2 different connection strings and with the same name for the table. Table name will change that's why it is saved in config.

  What is the best way to connect two daemons in Python? I have daemon A and B. I'd like to receive data generated by B in A's module (maybe bidirectional). Both daemons support plugins, so I'd like to shut communication in plugins. What's the best and cross-platform way to do that? I know few mechanisms from low-level solutions - shared memory (C/C++), linux pipe, sockets (TCP/UDP), etc. and few high-level - queue (JMS, Rabbit), RPC. Both daemons should run on the same host, but obviously better approach is to abstract from connection type. What are typical solutions/libraries in python? I'm looking for an elegant and lightweight solution. I don't need external server, just two processes talking with each other. What should I use in python to do that?

• problem with 512x512 app icon in iTunes Connect

  I'm uploading my app to App Store and I created it in iTunes Connect. I just uploaded my 512x512px icon and then I opened Version Summary page to verify my information... I've got a set of icon that just have gloss effect. In Version Summary page I see my 512x512px icon with automatic gloss added. Is there a way to prevent this? My large app icon mustn't have gloss... In my info.plist I added the line "Icon already includes gloss effects" and I checked the box near it... Can anyone help me?

• Win XP cannot connect (or see) my wifi network, but can see others

  since yesterday I have a strange wifi problem with my pc. I have a wireless linksys router setup that worked fine for many months, now since yesterday my pc won't connect to the wifi signal anymore. The strange thing is, my macbook pro still connects fine. SSID is broadcasting, but my windows XP doens't see it, I have all signal modes set to "auto". Windows XP sees all my neighbours wifi networks, so the wifi card isn't broken or anything. Any idea what can be wrong here?

• Cannot connect via HTTPS in Java app on MacOSX (Certificate validation issue)

  I have a java application that connects to a webservice over https. The domain where i host the webservice has a valid Goddaddy issued SSL certificate. The application works fine on Windows but on MacOSx i receive the following exception when attempting to connect to the webservice via https. sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target I've tested it on two machines running Mac OS X 10.7.2 with the latest java runtime updates. I understand this is usually a problem with self signed certificates that need to be added manually, but i have a valid Godaddy issued certificate. In webbrowsers (safari & firefox) on mac os the certificate is recognized and seems ok. I even tried adding the certificate to the key chain manually like in the gase of a self signed one but to no result.

  Hi, I'm trying to write an application that receives SMS messages into the app I'm developing (in C# if you care :). Research indicates the best bet is to use GSMComm library. I've downloaded the library and using the demo app I have managed to connect to the 3g modem (a Huawei E1756) but when I query it for SMS's received it comes back with 0. Interestingly if I use the software that comes with the application then I can see the messages. Anyone got any clues on why this would be? Or other tips on how to retrieve the messages? Cheers, Kym

  I am doing a school project where we need to create an android application which needs to connect to a database. the application needs to gain and store information for people's profiles on the database. But unfortunatly we are a little bit stuck at this point because there are numerous ways to link the application such as http request through apache or through the SOAP/REST protocol. But it's really hard to find good instructions or tutorials on the problem since I can't really find them. Maybe that's cause i'm probably using the wrong words on google. Unfortunately I have little relevant information. So if anyone can help me with finding relevant links to good online tutorials or howto's than those are very welcome.

  The web system which I'm working on right now, has a add.phtml (in views folder) form, which contain normal form elements and pageController.php (in Controller folder) file which has function to be connected when user hit "add page" button on the form.   Sheesh talk about limited information! I'm trying to get my Android application to connect to an online database to access information. There's quite a bit of info including geotags and these are going to be mapped on my app. The developer site has the very informative piece of information: You can use the network (when it's available) to store and retrieve data on your own web-based services. To do network operations, use classes in the following packages: java.net.* android.net.* Like I said in my previous question, I'm still very much an android newbie, and trying to remember my java oop from college is slow. Does anyone have an example of how this might work, or how I could implement it? I wouldn't mind even connecting to a local xml file, if I could find a good example of how to do that!? • Can't connect to MySQL database hosted in CloudBees

  I have a free CloudBees account and created a free ClearDB database using their wizards. My trouble is when I use their connection information (whether I try to connect from my Java app, or an outside tool - SQLyog to be exact) I take the error: Access denied for user 'b51dbc5757d79f'@'%' to database 'mywiki. The username provided by CloudBees does not contain those extra characters that the error message is displaying which seems like it would be a problem, but I'm not sure there is anything I can do about that since everything is configured for me. The username I am given is: b51dbc5757d79f - which I can delete and rebuild after sharing here :)

  Hi I don't use php or mysql but I am trying to upgrade a phpbb board I got but the one click installer forgot to install some stuff in the database so I can't upgrade to the newest version till I add the missing stuff. So I need to do a remote connect to mysql database but I am not sure how to do this or what software I need(free, and very easy to setup I don't want to spend much time on this). I don't really want to use phpmyadmin since I don't want to start setting up a virtual directory and whatever else it needs to be installed. • using eclipse to connect to remote machine[linux server] using ssh

  Hi, I am searching out for solution to use any of the IDE's such as Netbeans/ eclipse to run .jsp and .java files from a remote machine using linux as the OS. The .java and .jsp files are on the server . So, an IDE which would let me access the server and let me update the files directly on the server would be great. I use SSH terminal to connect to the server to update and get files. Now, if there was an easier way to just have an access using IDE to the linux remote machine. that would be great.   Hello everyone, I'm trying to rebuild the network from my work and I was thinking what is the best way to connect three switches and a router. The router has 4 ports so I thought to connect 2 switches to the router (each switch connected with 2 cables to the router) and then connect the third switch to one of the others with two cables. So is like this, two cables from switch one to the router, two cables from switch two to the router and two cables from switch 3 to switch 1 or 2. So my questions are: Is it better to connect the router to each switch with a cable or the more cables you have the better? If I connect the switch 3 to switch 1 or 2 is it better to connect it with a cable or you get better performance with more cables. If I'm wrong and there is a better or more efficient way to connect them please let me know.
