  • Is it possible to apply a Theme to Google Chrome when it's in "Application Mode"?

    I've applied the "brushed" theme (https://tools.google.com/chrome/intl/en/themes/theme%5Fbrushed.html) to my main google chrome browser windows without any problem. However none of the "application mode" shortcuts I created pick up this theme. For example, running chrome as follows does not pick up the "brushed" theme: chrome.exe --app=gmail.com I want to be able to apply themes to google chrome in application mode.

  • How to sync an Android phone with anything other than Google?

    As I understand, the Android phone can only sync with Google (GMail, Google Calendar, etc.) out of the box. I can imagine corporate users having a problem with their data residing on Google's servers — despite their "do no evil" credo. Is there any Android application that lets you sync with the desktop (either Linux or Windows) or corporate server applications (think Exchange)?

  • Outlook 2003: How to display my own messages in conversation view?

    When I select View-Arrange By-Conversation in Outlook 2003, the messages I sent myself are not shown in the message threads (unlike the conversation view in say, Gmail). To show my own messages I have to go to the Sent Items folder, if not someone has replied to one of my messages and included my original text. Is there a way to make my own messages visible in the conversation threads? Thank you! /Filip

    Mailing lists are great, but they're a fundamentally different beast than email. It seems strange to me to keep mailing lists in my email program (Gmail). Of course I have folders set up to automatically keep them out of my inbox, but if I have hundreds of mailing lists, it gets really out of hand. Is there an application (or web application) that is designed specifically as a mailing list "client"?

    All emails I send from my new server go to spam in Gmail (and sometimes yahoo). I've never before sent out mass email or spam. Everything is doing great but there is a problem with email web clients the most popular ones(gmail, yahoo, hotmail) are not optimized for screen readers. Is there some kind of simple email client optimized for this? Need to be very simple and straight foward and support multiple users too.

    I am running cpanel cPanel 11.25.0 on CentOS and have intermittment email delays (both coming and going) for a few specific domains. Emails from this server as well as major providers such as gmail, etc., do not suffer these delays. Any help with troubleshooting this issue? I am well aware this could be caused by something external but at this point getting someone else to fix this issue is out of the question.

Then I click on tools account settings data files and found personal folder as a defult file I tryed to remove it but I cant then I tried to set my new account as default but it didnt work

    I had this idea from http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2813326/maximum-number-of-bytes-that-can-be-sent-on-a-tcp-connection is it possible that smtp servers like gmail and yahoo enter into some form of agreement to maintain a tcp connection between them so that lots of mails could be sent on the same tcp connection. it would be efficient as there would be heavy mail traffic between these mail servers.

    I've got Chrome running on my Linux netbook, it's great and, unlike the Mac version, the 'Create Application Shortcut' option isn't greyed out. So I created one for Gmail. The 'applications' get stored at ~/.local/share/applications but I haven't managed to launch it yet. If I use Chrome in terminal $ google-chrome ~/.local/share/applications/google-application-reallylong-randomname.thing It opens the file in a new tab in Chrome and helpfully downloads it for me! Anyone got application shortcuts working in Linux?

    I was wondering if there is a free service that provides a repository for your backups. These are backups of my server, there are usually about 200mb. I want to FTP the last 2 or 3. I am looking for a service that maybe provide some gigs of space and with FTP access. In the past I setup my forums to send via my Gmail account, but spambots with fake emails have flooded my inbox, so I setup [email protected] with Zoho mail. Zoho works great, but I need to have my installation of phpbb3 send mass emails through the smtp.zoho.com mail server, and I can't figure out what settings I should use. The instructions on https://www.zoho.com/mail/help/pop-access.html are a little vague for anything that doesn't auto-detect the exact settings.

    I have a YouTube account that I want to change the primary email for but every time I try to add a alternate address it says it is already associated with another google account. The email is a google apps user because I want to manage my domains email through gmail. I have already tried deleting the account and re-creating it to make sure it is not associated with anything. The only way I can add it is if I delete the google apps account but then I can not verify since I need to access the verification email.
