    hello... im trying to redirect "search.php?q=somethinghere" to "search/somethinghere/" but I can't do it! I'm trying to send form "<form action="search/" method="get" name="search">" like this but url goes to "search/?q=somethinghere" RedirectMatch 301 ^/search.php?q=(.*)$ http://domain.com/search/$1/ this is also not working. whats the problem? I don't want "?q=" in URL.

    Hello All, I have a page www.senderdomain.com/sender.aspx, from which i need to write a string to another page in other domain www.receiverdomain.com/receiver.aspx In sender.aspx i have written Response.Write("Hello"); Response.Redirect(Request.UrlReferrer.ToString()); It gets redirected to respective receiver.aspx page, but I am not sure how to get the text "Hello" in receiver.aspx page.     I have a Ruby on Rails app running on 12001. I am currently redirecting a subdomain to 127.0.0.1:12001 using some ReWriteCond detection. Now I want to redirect my subdirectory to that rails app. http[s]://domain.com/redmine to 127.0.0.1:12001 The current rules apply REQUEST_URI to the above rails path, but I need to strip "/redmine" from the front of REQUEST_URI... Any ideas?

    Hey, I'm trying to redirect something like foo/bar to ?foo=bar, so I can do www.mydomain.com/hey/foo/bar to www.mydomain.com/hey/?foo=bar, but I can't seem to get the syntax right. I tried the following: RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^foo/(.*)$ ?foo=bar [NC] But this doesn't work. How would I accomplish this? I tried adding a forward slash behind the question mark, but that makes it link to the root directory. Thanks, Jengerer

    I have an IHttpModule that implements IRequiresSessionState. The session state is at "on" on the page directive and I also added it to the web.config. In the method "OnBeginRequest" in the IHttpModule, I make a Server.Transfer but I get the error : Session state can only be used when enableSessionState is set to true, either in a configuration file or in the Page directive. When I access the page directly or with a Response.Redirect, there is no error. Any idea?
