  Not sure why I am having such a hard time with this. Trying to add a 10px top margin to a that is inside of a div. But that does not add the gutter I want and just pushes the containing div down 10px. • Neo4j 1.9.4 (REST Server,CYPHER) performance issue

  I have Neo4j 1.9.4 installed on 24 core 24Gb ram (centos) machine and for most queries CPU usage spikes goes to 200% with only few concurrent requests. Domain: some sort of social application where few types of nodes(profiles) with 3-30 text/array properties and 36 relationship types with at least 3 properties. Most of nodes currently has ~300-500 relationships. Current data set footprint(from console): LogicalLogSize=4294907 (32MB) ArrayStoreSize=1675520 (12MB) NodeStoreSize=1342170 (10MB) PropertyStoreSize=1739548 (13MB) RelationshipStoreSize=6395202 (48MB) StringStoreSize=1478400 (11MB) which is IMHO really small. most queries looks like this one(with more or less WITH .. MATCH .. statements and few queries with variable length relations but the often fast): START targetUser=node({id}), currentUser=node({current}) MATCH targetUser-[contact:InContactsRelation]->n, n-[:InLocationRelation]->l, n-[:InCategoryRelation]->c WITH currentUser, targetUser,n, l,c, contact.fav is not null as inFavorites MATCH n<-[followers?:InContactsRelation]-() WITH currentUser, targetUser,n, l,c,inFavorites, COUNT(followers) as numFollowers RETURN id(n) as id, n.name? as name, n.title? as title, n._class as _class, n.avatar? as avatar, n.avatar_type? as avatar_type, l.name as location__name, c.name as category__name, true as isInContacts, inFavorites as isInFavorites, numFollowers it runs in ~1s-3s(for first run) and ~1s-70ms (for consecutive and it depends on query) and there is about 5-10 queries runs for each impression. Another interesting behavior is when i try run query from console(neo4j) on my local machine many consecutive times(just press ctrl+enter for few seconds) it has almost constant execution time but when i do it on server it goes slower exponentially and i guess it somehow related with my problem. Problem: So my problem is that neo4j is very CPU greedy(for 24 core machine its may be not an issue but its obviously overkill for small project). First time i used AWS EC2 m1.large instance but over all performance was bad, during testing, CPU always was over 100%. Some relevant parts of configuration: neostore.nodestore.db.mapped_memory=1280M wrapper.java.maxmemory=8192 note: I already tried configuration where all memory related parameters where HIGH and it didn't worked(no change at all). Question: Where to digg? configuration? scheme? queries? what i'm doing wrong? if need more info(logs, configs) just ask ;)

• A very strange problem related to Flash and Java

  Hello, I have created one simple program for showing webcam of the user. It works absolutely fine when i am running without integrating it in my java web application. But as soon as i copy paste the same files in Netbeans 6.8 and try to run it. My swf file is visible but the buttons in it are totally unclickable. I get the message of allow or deny showing webcam but the buttons are not clickable. It makes my application totally useless. I thought it's a minor issue but now it's getting on my nerves. I am trying it since 3 hours but didn't find any solution. I don't think anybody faced this issue till now that's why can't seem to find any thread in any forum on it in google. I am using Netbeans 6.8, Ubuntu, Glassfish V3 and JSF. Thanks in advance :). UPDATE:- It works fine on Windows XP. Then what can be the problem with Ubuntu? Any kind of permission rights that i need to give? 2nd UPDATE:- I think this is bug with Flash.   I have a user model and a role model with a has_and_belongs_to_many reliationship. The join table is roles_users (two columns - the PK of the user and the role) and has no corresponding model. I want to have a method that returns all users with a given role. In SQL that'd be something like SELECT u.id FROM role.r, roles_users ru WHERE r.role_id = #{role.id} AND r.role_id = ru.role_id I see that Rails' activerecord has a find_by_sql method, but it's only expecting one results to be returned. What is the "Rails Way" to give me a list of users with a given role e.g. def self.find_users_with_role(role) users = [] users << # Some ActiveRecord magic or custom code here..? end

  Hello, I am creating an application using ASP.NET MVC (2) and Spring.NET. Since most of my Controller implementations just implement the similar CRUD operations, I would like to just create a single Generic controller, as explained here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/848904/in-asp-net-mvc-is-it-possible-to-make-a-generic-controller However, the above example doesn't take DI frameworks into consideration. • MooTools - Programmatically fired events not working with event delegation

  Would really appreciate if anyone can help me figure out why I am unable to fire events programmatically when using event delegation in MooTools (from the Element.Delegation class). There is a parent <div> that has a change listener on some child <input> elements. When the change event is triggered by user actions, the handler on the parent div gets triggered, but when I fire it programmatically with fireEvent on any child input, nothing happens. The value of the html.Encode is the correct value. When i reload the page the correct values are in the fields. Both times i build the viewModel the exact same way. I cant find the cause or solution of this error. I would be very happy with any help to solve this problem Thanx in advance for any tips or help

• Getting all the cookies including those from google analytics from one webpage

  Hello! I use apache 4 java libs for http get connections. I get all cookies from 2 other pages. But one other webpage contains google analytics cookies(utma,utmz...) and classic session id cookie (checked with firebug). When i try to get the cookies i only get sesson id cookie. Is there any trick to get all the cookies from java in connection with google analytics? If i want to make a http post, it seems that i have to send google analytics cookies too. I can copy my code if somebody wants, but it works on other pages(for printing cookies). Thank you

• Making id'less url in asp.net mvc razor

  I am working with URL routing , and have some issues. I want my url to be like this: www.domain.com/p/myproduct But I also want to be able to retrieve the ID of the product, without accessing the database. I thought about having a URL like: www.domain.com/p/myproduct/1 But if I could hide the ID it would be better. So, how do I do it the simplest way?   i am creating web mobile application in mvc4. My problem is when I click on particular link in my application,it works well, but sometimes it automatically redirected to INDEX page that is set as default page in global.asax as routes.MapRoute( "Default", // Route name "{controller}/{action}/{id}", // URL with parameters new { controller = "Home", action = "Index", id = UrlParameter.Optional } // Parameter defaults ); Now I don't know why its automatically redirected to INDEX page,even if I have already defined controller and action name where it show redirected as, <a href='@(Url.Action( "ActivityWall", "Home"))' > </a> logically it should redirect to "ActivityWall" page,which it does.but sometime only it goes to INDEX page.then when I clear my cookie problem will again solved but after some time it again start redirecting to INDEX page. I also posted question related to cookies issue yesterday,but I think that is nit main issue. can someone help please ?

  I am designing a data model for a local city page, more like requirements for it. So 4 tables: Country, State, City, neighbourhood. Real life relationships is: Country owns multiple State which owns multiple cities which ows multiple neighbourhoods. In the data model: Do we link these with FK the same way or link each with each? Like in each table there will even be a Country ID, State ID, CityID and NeighbourhoodID so each connected with each? Other wise to reach neighbourhood from country we need to join 2 other tables in between? There are more tables I need to maintain for IP addess of cities, latitude/longitude, etc.

And When i try to upload to my hosting and try 404 i get this error (NotFound route not work at all) 404 - File or directory not found. • Left Join not returning all rows

  I have this query in MySQL: SELECT pr.*, pr7.value AS `room_price_high` FROM `jos_hp_properties` pr LEFT OUTER JOIN `jos_hp_properties2` pr7 ON pr7.property=pr.id WHERE pr7.field=23 The jos_hp_properties table has 27 rows but the query only returns one. Based on this question I think it may be because of the WHERE clause. The jos_hp_properties2 table has fields id, property, field, value, where field is a foreign key to a third table (which I don't need to get data from). Is there a way to select all the rows from the first table, including the value from table #2 where the field is 23 (or NULL if there is no field 23)?

  Hi, Should be simple but I couldn't find the answer, I would like to place components horizontally instead of vertically. What I'm trying to achieve is a rich:toolbar with 2 or more rows. I've been trying to do that with a toolbar that has a panelgrid and two panelgroups like this: <rich:toolbar...> <f:panelgrid columns="1"...> <f:panelgroup id="row1" .../> <-- Should be horizontal placement <f:panelgroup id="row2" .../> <-- Should be horizontal placement <f:panelgrid/> <rich:toolbar/> So how do I make the panelgroup layout horizontal (Or should I use something else?) • ADO program to list members of a large group.

  Hi everyone, I'm attempting to list all the members in a Active Directory group using ADO. The problem I have is that many of these groups have over 1500 members and ADSI cannot handle more than 1500 items in a multi-valued attribute. Fortunately I came across Richard Muller's wonderful VBScript that handles more than 1500 members at http://www.rlmueller.net/DocumentLargeGroup.htm I modified his code as shown below so that I can list ALL the groups and its memberships in a certain OU. However, I'm keeping getting the exception shown below: "ADODB.Recordset: Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal." My program appears to get stuck at: strPath = adoRecordset.Fields("ADsPath").Value Set objGroup = GetObject(strPath) All I am doing above is issuing the query to get back a recordset consisting of the ADsPath for each group in the OU. It then walks through the recordset and grabs the ADsPath for the first group and store its in a variable named strPath; we then use the value of that variable to bind to the group account for that group. It really should work! Any idea why the code below doesn't work for me? Any pointers will be great appreciated. Thanks.   I need to upload an image and then preview it without posting back as i need to have a file upload control(even HTMLinputfile or ASPfileupload) then the user will browse to select image after selecting (browsing) there will a button(HTMLInputButton) that will save the uploaded image and preview it.   I want to pass the "DisplayName" column value returned from SqlDataSource's Select command to a custom function and then the return value to be assigned to "DataTextField" property of DropDownList. I know, I can do this using "CustomExpressionBuilder", I have tried but if I use following: DataTextField="<%$ MyCustomExpressionBuilder:DisplayName %>" I do not receive the value of the DisplayName field in the overriden "GetCodeExpression" method, but the literal value "DisplayName". How can I do this? • Multiple classes in body tag, multi-dimensional css structure or blueprint for insanity?

  This question is about an approach to css structuring, and so is more discussion oriented. I'm working with some outsourced css where the body tags have multiple classes assigned, up to half a dozen. (To make things a little worse, none of the css selectors include an html tag which is making it confusing to analyze the css.) These body classes are then used to modify classed or id'd widgets within. It seems like this approach is like adding an additional dimension to the css, perhaps in some attempt to create a structured css approach. Documentation might have helped, had we been provided any. This differs from my approach where widgets are styled primarily via id'd divs, perhaps extracting the more generic elements into a class, i.e. div#MyWidget.widgets. Any ideas on whether such an approach is maintainable, especially considering I am dealing with websites with thousands of pages including tons of legacy stuff, all done by different people with different skill levels? • Correct redirect after posting comment - django comments framework

  I am using django comments framework for allowing users to comment on my site, but there is a problem with the url to which user is redirected after posting the comment. If I render my comment form as {% with comment.content_object.get_absolute_url as next %} {% render_comment_form for comment.content_object %} {% endwith %} Then the url to which it is redirected after the comment is posted is <comment.content_object.get_absolute_url/?c=<comment.id> For example I posted a comment on a post with url /post/256/a-new-post/ then the url to which I am redirected after posting the comment is /post/256/a-new-post/?c=99 where assume 99 is the id comment just posted. Instead what I want is something like this /post/256/a-new-post/#c99. Secondly when I do comment.get_absolute_url() I do not get the proper url instead I get a url like /comments/cr/58/14/#c99 and this link is broken. How can I get the correct url as mentioned in the documentation. Am i doing something wrong. Any help is appreciated.
