  • Why doesn't Ubuntu detect my second hard drive?

    I am new to Linux and to Ubuntu, I was wondering, I have two hard drives setup in SATA ports (non-raid, at least I don't think they are). I installed ubuntu unto the drives fresh without any previous versions or windows at all. However when I got the Ubuntu 12.04 LTS working, all I see is 1 x 120 gigabyte harddrive. Also, not sure if this is important or not, my hard drives are SSD.     which is the best 2D game enginefor iOS? I really need a game engine that allows me to modify the game code because I need to control the multi-touch events. I have a framework that detects the gesture that the player makes and I need to test this gesture recognizer in a game, so I have to have the freedom to change the game code. I don't want anything like GameSalad where you can't control anything. Thanks in advance.

  • how to safely Uninstall Ubuntu 12.04 and reinstall 11.10

    I upgraded from 11.10 to 12.04 following the instructions here. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/PreciseUpgrades. But after the upgrade a lot of my image processing packages don't work some of their dependencies have been removed. Honestly there is not that much difference between 11.10 and 12.04. So please can someone tell me how to safely remove 12.04 and go back to 11.10 without losing documents, and source packages on my old Ubuntu. Thanks
