  • Asp.Net MVC missing style and defaults to logon page

    I just setup an out of the box "W2K8 R2 Web" server and installed IIS 7 out of the box. Then I installed the .NET4 framework and ran "aspnet_regiis -i" command. I created a site using .NET 4.0 Integrated app pool. I created an MVC application using the default MVC project template, without modifying I compiled the project and deploy the files using (Publish) to the virtual directory. I can pull the site up, but the styles are missing from the page and for some reason it routing to the /Account/LogOn?ReturnUrl=/

    Recently Google introduced an SDK for application usage tracking on mobile devices (Google Analytics for Mobile Apps). Unfortunately, it seems that it only supports IPhone and Android devices. Do you have any idea if this framework can somehow be used from Windows Mobile / Compact Framework applications or if Google is planning to release an SDK for WM? BTW, I don't mean a WM application for browsing through GA server reports, but an SDK for tracking your mobile app's usage.

    Hi. Does anyone know if it is possible to create a single connection string that will be accessible to all the projects in a solution (we have about 6). I can create a text file with this information, but we need design time support as well, and it is not practical to have a connection string in every App.Config and Web.config file in the solution.     Hi does anyone know where I can download iPhone sdk 2.0 and 2.2.1 . I upgraded to the latest version of the sdk (3.1.2) and it broke my application. In the 3.1.2 installer it gave option to install the 2.2 sdk but it doesn't show up as an option in xcode when I try to execute my app. The earliest version it will show me is 2.2.1 Thanks, Joe

    like build in apple notes app, after you swipe to delete the selected row, it will select the nearest available row automatically. The logic should be: if row count 0 then if deleted_row == last row then select deleted_row_index-1 row else select deleted_row_index+1 row end end i have try to implement the above logic in the commitEditingStyle event, but the selection fail. the selectRowAtIndexPath logic just don't work in this event, if i apply it in a button, it works. any idea?

    I have an app with a tab bar, and nav controllers in each tab. When user shakes the device, a UIImageView appears as a child view in the nav controller. But the UIImageView must contain a special image, depending on the device's current orientation. If I write just - (void)willAnimateRotationToInterfaceOrientation:(UIInterfaceOrientation) if (interfaceOrientation == UIInterfaceOrientationPortrait|| interfaceOrientation == UIInterfaceOrientationPortraitUpsideDown) { //Code } else if (interfaceOrientation == UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeRight||interfaceOrientation == UIInterfaceOrientationLandscapeLeft) { //Code } } The view just goes crazy if user rotated the device before shaking. Is there a method to get iPhones current orientation?

As I have to do my app in english and french, some ingredients start with special character like 'é' or even 'œ' for 'o'. How can I include these special characters in my predicate? Best
