• Flash CS5 screwed up all my textfields - how can I correct this?

  Hi - I have an Actionscript project that I was building using Flash CS4. I embedded a font using the follow: [Embed(source="/bin/assets/fonts/MyriadPro-Regular.otf", fontWeight="normal", fontFamily="Myriad Pro")] Then throughout my application in my TextFields I would set embedFonts to true antialiastype to advanced and set the thickness property of the text field. And setting the font-family from a stylesheet. This was all working exactly as I expected it would with no issues whatsoever and months of development. I just upgraded to CS5 and published and none of my text is rendered at all. I was able to resolve this by removing the embedFonts = true from the textfields, but this leaves me with no control over the thickness at all. I searched everywhere, does anyone know what the proper way to do this in CS5 is now? I've tried embedding my font directly within the CS5 IDE but still no thickness control. • how to create a mootools 1.1 function with array

The first line of the form has two inputs side by side for each part of the name and the 2nd line has one input for the email address that should be the same width as the first line combined.   I'm learning WPF and would like to have a collection similar to a LinkedList, to where I can add and remove strings. And I want to have a ListView that listen to that collection with databinding. • Firefox adding padding to first image in multiple images, although all images have same styling and size.

  I have a WP Phone app using a Bing Map control. I have an array of objects, and each object has a location. I iterate the array to place the pins on the map (see below). I have a touch event bound to each pin to allow the user to tap the pin to start an action. Now - I would like, on tap, to show information from the object that relates to that pin to be shown in a textbox. • Javascript + PHP $_POST array empty

  While trying to send a POST request via xmlhttp.open("POST", "url", true) (javascript) to the server I get an empty $_POST array. Firebug shows that the data is being sent. Here is the data string from Firebug: a=1&q=151a45a150.... But $_POST['q'] returns nothing. The interesting thing is that file_get_contents('php://input') does have my data (the string above), but PHP somehow doesn't recognize it. Tried both $_POST and $_REQUEST, nothing works.   I have a server-side function that draws an image with the Python Imaging Library. The Java client requests an image, which is returned via socket and converted to a BufferedImage. I prefix the data with the size of the image to be sent, followed by a CR. I then read this number of bytes from the socket input stream and attempt to use ImageIO to convert to a BufferedImage. Side notes: I realize that the char[]-to-String-to-bytes-to-BufferedImage Java logic is roundabout, but reading the bytestream directly produces the same errors. I have a version of this working where the client socket isn't persistent, ie. the request is processed and the connection is dropped. That version works fine, as I don't need to care about the image size, but I want to learn why the proposed approach doesn't work.

• Grep expression with special file names

  i am a real beginner in csh/tcsh scripting and that's why i need your help. The problem is I have to go through some regular files in directories and find those files, that have their own name in its content. In the following piece of script is cycle in which I am going through paths and using grep to find the file's name in its content. What is surely correct is $something:q - is array of paths where i have to find files. The next variable is name in which is only name of current file. for example: /home/computer/text.txt (paths) and: text.txt (name) And my biggest problem is to find names of files in their content. It's quite difficult for me to write correct grep for this, cause the names of files and directories that i am passing through are mad. Let's assume that we have two models -- products and categories: Products has_many :categorizations has_many :categories, :through => :categorizations Categories has_many :categorizations has_many :products, :through => :categorizations Categorization belongs_to :product belongs_to :category Pat Shaughnessy is developing modified auto_complete plugin which can allow to manage one-to-many (and many-to-many) association: For someone that would be enough, but I don't really like so many text fields. I guess it is possible to combine the Ryan Bates' screencasts used by Pat in a slightly different way, namely, using one text field with autocomplete: Also it would be better to remove from the list of suggested tasks (one-to-many), or products|categories (many-to-many) those which have been already added. In the case of products-categories relationship, such auto completion would be used both in the form for product, and in the form for category. I hope that there is an existing plugin for that. I am not very experienced in Ruby, and don't really know how to implement such logic by myself. Any help is appreciated!

  I'm trying to translate an online html page into text. I have a problem with this structure: <div align="justify"><b>Available in <a href="http://www.example.com.be/book.php?number=1"> French</a> and <a href="http://www.example.com.be/book.php?number=5"> English</a>. </div> Here is its representation as a python string: '<div align="justify"><b>Available in \r\n<a href="http://www.example.com.be/book.php?number=1">\r\nFrench</a>; \r\n<a href="http://www.example.com.be/book.php?number=5">\r\nEnglish</a>.\r\n</div>' When using: html_content = get_html_div_from_above() para = BeautifulSoup(html_content) txt = para.text BeautifulSoup translate it (in the 'txt' variable) as: u'Available inFrenchandEnglish.' It probably strips each line in the original html string. Do you have a clean solution about this problem ? Thanks.

• Retriving data from ListView control

  I have a ListView control set up in details mode with 5 columns. Now I need to retrieve data from the ListView control in order to delete a booking in my database. I used the following code to retrieve the content of each column: ManageList.SelectedItems(0).Text But it only seems to work on index 0. If I do: ManageList.SelectedItems(3).Text I get this error: InvalidArgument=Value of '3' is not valid for 'index'. Parameter name: index I'm pretty much stumped, it seems logical to me that index 1 will point to the 2nd column, index 2 to the 3rd etc, as it's 0 based? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I want the output be: <html> <head> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://mysite.com/css/all.css" /> </head> <body> <a href="http://mysite.com/test.aspx">Test</a> <a href="http://mysite.com">Test</a> <img src="http://mysite.com/images/test.jpg"/> <img src="http://mysite.com/images/test.jpg"/> </body> </html> Note: I want only the relative paths to be converted to absolute ones in that string. The absolute ones which are already in that string should not be touched, they are fine to me as they are already absolute. Can this be done by regex or other means?

• Problem creating a custom input element using FluentHtml (MVCContrib)

  Hi there, I just recently started dabbling in ASP.NET MVC 1.0 and came across the wonderful MVCContrib. I had originally gone down the path of creating some extended html helpers, but after finding FluentHTML decided to try my hand at creating a custom input element. Basically I am wanting to ultimately create several custom input elements to make it easier for some other devs on the project I'm working on to add their input fields to the page and have all of my preferred markup to render for them. So, in short, I'd like to wrap certain input elements with additional markup.. A TextBox would be wrapped in an <li /> for example. I've created my custom input elements following Tim Scott's answer in another question on here: DRY in the MVC View. So, to further elaborate, I've created my class, "TextBoxListItem": public class TextBoxListItem : TextInput<TextBox> { public TextBoxListItem (string name) : base(HtmlInputType.Text, name) { } public TextBoxListItem (string name, MemberExpression forMember, IEnumerable<IBehaviorMarker> behaviors) : base(HtmlInputType.Text, name, forMember, behaviors) { } public override string ToString() { var liBuilder = new TagBuilder(HtmlTag.ListItem); liBuilder.InnerHtml = ToString(); return liBuilder.ToString(TagRenderMode.SelfClosing); } } I've also added it to my ViewModelContainerExtensions class: public static TextBox TextBoxListItem<T>(this IViewModelContainer<T> view, Expression<Func<T, object>> expression) where T : class { return new TextBoxListItem(expression.GetNameFor(view), expression.GetMemberExpression(), view.Behaviors) .Value(expression.GetValueFrom(view.ViewModel)); } And lastly, I've added it to ViewDataContainerExtensions as well: public static TextBox TextBoxListItem(this IViewDataContainer view, string name) { return new TextBox(name).Value(view.ViewData.Eval(name)); } I'm calling it in my view like so: <%= this.TextBoxListItem("username").Label("Username:") %> Anyway, I'm not getting anything other than the standard FluentHTML TextBox, not wrapped in <li></li> elements.
