• VBA - Create ADODB.Recordset from the contents of a spreadsheet

  Hello, I am working on an Excel application that queries a SQL database. The queries can take a long time to run (20-40 min). If I've miss-coded something it can take a long time to error or reach a break point. I can save the results to a sheet fine, it's when I am working with the record sets that things can blow up. Is there a way to load the data into a ADODB.Recordset when I'm debugging to skip querying the database (after the first time)? • Grails MySql processList

  Hello, i have a grails application with a webflow. I store my inner flow objects of interest in the converstaion scope. After entering and leaving the flow a few times, i see that the single user connected to the DB (MySql) generates a lot of threads on the MySql Server which are not released. The processlist in mysql show me the threads in sleeping mode and a netstat on the client shows me established connections to the mysql server. I assume the connections are held active and not released. But why is that? What do grails exactly do when entering and leaving a flow? Why are so many connections opened and not closed? Any help would be appreciated. regards, masiar

  Hello. I had earlier asked whether I can remove un-utilized JavaScript code from ExtJS library. JSBuilder was the answer. What about being able to download widgets on-demand? I ask this because I have discovered this from the of markup generated by Coolite (ASP.Net framework that wraps ExtJS). So do I have to go through a meticulous process of splitting the library myself or is there a better way? BTW I'd like to avoid using Coolite.

  Hello, I am building a RoR app, a community. With a User model and some fields. So when a user is updating a certain field, like His/Hers berthday. Then i want to validate that the User typed in the password that is the same in the Database. So I know that it is the right user trying to change the birthday. So i ask you how i can create shuch a validator. Allso i would like to be able to specify an array of which fields the user has to validate the password to change. Ps. I am using RoR3. If it mathers.   I've seen a lot of questions on that on StackOverflow, but reading the answers did not clear that up for me, probably because I'm a total newbie in C programming. B) Sort by will contain by employee number, date of birth , Salary , and many more C) Filter by will contain like employee on vacation, or employee terminated etc etc. Now for a single webreport I am first taking a DataSource and binding data to labels. to achieve the above webreport I have to take 40 different Datasource and I have to assign to the labels? Should I be doing this?

I have just successfully installed TWILL on my computer with the help of one very supportive member of "StackOverflow" (you can check it out HERE) and have tried to run one of the simple examples on the twill documentation page (you can see that page HERE). Here is that example: Let's say my username on www.slash.org is lynxye and my password is mammal. When I try to enter that example code into my Python prompt, I can only type and enter the first line of the code because when I click on "Enter" to start a new line, I get some error messages right away: The same happens when I try to enter this code into my terminal: I think I miss out on some basics here. Perhaps, I need to create a file that would contain that code and then run that file somehow, but I really don't know where I need to create that file and with what extensdion. Can anyone, please, help me with this?

  Hello, I'm currently developing an application to allow students to manage their courses, and I don't really know how to design the database for a specific feature. The client wants, a lot like Facebook, that when a student displays the list of people currently in a specific course, the people with the most mutual courses are displayed first. As an additional feature, I would like to add a search feature to allow students to search for another one, and displaying first in the search results the people with most mutual courses. I currently use MySQL, I plan to use Cassandra for some other features, and I also use Memcached for result caching. Thanks.

  Hello, i've got a SQL query which returns multiple rows, and i have : $data = array( "nom" => $row['nom'] , "prix" => $row['rapport'], "average" => "$moyenne_ge" ); which is perfect, but only if my query returns one row. i tried that : $data = array(); $data[$row['nom']]["nom"] = $row['nom'] ; ... $data[$row['nom']]['average'] = "$moyenne_ge"; in order to have : $data[brand1][nom] = brand1 $data[brand1][average] = 150$ $data[brand2][nom] = brand2 $data[brand2][average] = 20$ ... but when i do : json_encode($data) i only have the latest JSON object instead of all JSON object from my request as if my array has only one brand instead of 10. As I know, I've to call makeTransliteratable(elementIds, opt_options) method in the API call to define which input fields to make transliteratable, and in my case here I can't predefine those fields manually.   Hello We are working on a C language application which is simple RTSP/RTP client to record video from Axis a number of Cameras . We launch a pthread for each of the camera which establishes the RTP session and begins to record the packets captured suing the recvfrom() call... A single camera single pthread records fine for well over a day without issues.. but testing with more cameras available,about 25(so 25 pthreads), the recording to file goes fine for like 15 to 20 mins and then the recording just stops ..the application still keeps running .. Its been over a month and a half we have been trying with varied implementations but nothing seems to help .. Please provide suggestions.. We are using CentOS 5 platform

  Hello all, I'm trying to implement a feature that uses LDAP over SSL (SSL, not TLS), it needs to connect to a SSL-enabled LDAP server (i.e OpenLDAP), bind and then do any additional queries. It also needs to support client-authentication, and this is where things get tricky: The client is a web application written in Ruby, and we are using RubyLDAP (so far we have used it for non-SSL ldap stuff with great success). My question is: Is there a way to load a client certificate and send its data over the wire to the LDAP server when doing a LDAP::SSLConn? I haven't found anything obvious on the API docs (http://ruby-ldap.sourceforge.net/rdoc/) nor while googling around. I know I that I can prevent the server from asking for a certificate by putting the following on slapd.conf (OpenLDAP): TLSVerifyClient never However, this is not an option here. Thanks, Marcelo.

This would mean multiple Like buttons on the page, one per activity. Can this be done? Can the Like button's url include #!state1 ? Eg, a web page is located at www.example.com/index.html It has multiple FB Like buttons on it, one for url www.example.com/index.html#!activity1 another for www.example.com/index.html#!activity2 Will the two Like buttons work independently?

  Hello, I would like to define inside a class a constant which value is the maximum possible int. Something like this: class A { ... static const int ERROR_VALUE = std::numeric_limits<int>::max(); ... } This declaration fails to compile with the following message: numeric.cpp:8: error: 'std::numeric_limits::max()' cannot appear in a constant-expression numeric.cpp:8: error: a function call cannot appear in a constant-expression I understand why this doesn't work, but two things look weird to me: It seems to me a natural decision to use the value in constant expressions. Why did the language designers decide to make max() a function thus not allowing this usage? The spec claims in 18.2.1 that For all members declared static const in the numeric_limits template, specializations shall define these values in such a way that they are usable as integral constant expressions. Doesn't it mean that I should be able to use it in my scenario and doesn't it contradict the error message? Thank you.

S- ABa A- aab B- Ac I know the steps are as follows. 1) Remove epsilon transitions - Done 2) remove unit productions 3) convert to CNF by: 3.1] introduce a new non terminal for each term 3.2] replace terminals in the productions rules with the new nonterminal 3.3] introduce new nonterminals to reduce the length of the right side of each production i'm a bit confused on how i would do that with the problem above.   Hello, At moment my main layout consists of vertically oriented stack panel and it looks like this: Root StackPanel StackPanel - fixed Height 150 (horizontal orientation) StackPanel - relative Height must be behalf of free space left on screen (but at least 150 px). Used by Telerik GridView Control, if I don't specify Height or MaxHeight Telerik GridView Height becomes very large and does not fit my window. Used by Telerik GridView Control, if I don't specify Height or MaxHeight Telerik GridView Height becomes very large and does not fit my window. The problem is that I don't understand how to make certain areas of my view resize depending on available screen size. Edit: it occurs to me that perhaps a sorted hash table is an oxymoron. If so, what's the best way to get access to a sorted list of the things here?
