  • remove schema from linq datacontexts

    When I add stored procedures to a linq datacontext, by default visual studio prefixes the stored procedure with the sql schema that it is in. Is there any way to stop this? In our environment, the stored procedures may be moved to other schemas over time, and we will default the schema based on the sql user used to connect. Do I have to do this manually or can I somehow turn off the schema prefixes?

    hi guys i need help trying to figure out why the alert box doesnt show up when i run this. im also new at programming. html i due just fine. im currently taking a php class, and the teacher thought it would be fun to have us create a form and validate it. my problem is i am trying to call the function which then would validate it. When link is clicked, I'd like an opened page (in a separate window) to have a google-translator style toolbox that I could use to save the page to a localdisk if I liked it, adding a few tags to the database using php. I understand how to save a file using php, but could You help me with ideas as how to add a toolbar and to send request from toolbar to my processing page?   • Looking for RESTful Suggestions In Porting ASP.NET to MVC.NET

    I've been tasked with porting/refactoring a Web Application Platform that we have from ASP.NET to MVC.NET. Ideally I could use all the existing platform's configurations to determine the properties of the site that is presented. Is it RESTful to keep a SiteConfiguration object which contains all of our various page configuration data in the System.Web.Caching.Cache? There are a lot of settings that need to be loaded when the user acceses our site so it's inefficient for each user to have to load the same settings every time they access. I'd like to refactor the platform into MVC because it's better to work in but I want to do it right but with a minimum of reinventing-the-wheel because otherwise it won't get approval.     I'm trying to localize a Windows 8 Metro style app as described in a guide on MSDN. This worked very well so far, but now I'm trying to localize a string containing a non-breaking space which appears in a XAML file (originally as hexadecimal xml-escaped string: &#x00a0). Just putting the above string into the Resources.resw file does not work, it appears just as &#x00a0. What do I have to do to get a non-breaking space in my localizations?

Since that's not part of the method signature, I wonder if it would hurt to do something like: -(BOOL)validateAge:(NSNumber *)ioValue error:(NSError **)outError Is this still fine with KVC?

I know you can use IE to analyse the xml log file, and we get a visual generate by the xsl file, but my xml log file have 97 MO and the IE performance is not got.
