    Having sorted the tag_counts hash via the following code: sorted_tags = Contact.tag_counts.sort{ |x,y| x.name.downcase <= y.name.downcase } what is the easiest/most efficient way to display the tags in my view grouped by letters? i.e A - "Alpha", "Apple", "Aza" B - "Beta", "Bonkers" . . . Z - "Zeta", "Zimmer" Any ideas?

    Hi I accidentally deleted my sdk 3.0 directory, thinking I didn't need it. Now when I launch and compile a project it says that my base sdk is missing. Where can I download the 3.0 sdk? All that is available in Dev Center are the 3.2 and 4 beta sdks?

  • NULL ForeignKeyTo property in Subsonic 3/ASP.NET MVC?

    Issue: the primary key of the base table is named differently than the the key in the fk table. Subsonic 3 does not know how to handle that, which is fine, its beta. So I was going to change the Html.ControlFor logic to just grab the table and use the pkname from that: var fk = db.FindTable(col.ForeignKeyTo.FriendlyName); However the .ForeignKeyTo is null. Where in the templates does that ITable get populated?

    Is HTTP digest authentication still supported in Rails 3? I tried the following code in Rails 2.3.5, it works. class Admin::BaseController < ApplicationController before_filter :authenticate USERS = { "lifo" => "world" } def authenticate authenticate_or_request_with_http_digest("Application") do |name| USERS[name] end end end Now, the same thing in Rails 3.0.0.beta) returns an error: can't convert nil into String Am I missing something or is this a bug in Rails 3? HTTP basic authentication works fine.

  • Why do i get a circular reference exception when calling to_json on an ActiveRecord::Relation

    In Rails 3 (beta 3 on 1.8.7), when calling to_json on a relation i get a circular reference exception. Converting that relation to an array first, and THEN calling to_json works. Code That fails: Model.where().to_json (Where model is any model in your Rails 3 app) Code that works: Model.where().to_a.to_json This can be reproed on the console. Has anyone else run in to this? Is this expected?

    I have one crash in my iPhone application that does throw an NSException. The crash reports are completely ambiguous in where the error is and what exactly is causing it. Is there a smart way for me to set a top level exception handler somewhere to see what is causing it? I can't replicate the problem myself, but a few of my beta users certainly can.     I have a script which uses simple php curl requests to get the contents from rss/atom feeds.... now my question is it possible that by using curl, is there a chance i might get a virus? Let's say I do a php curl request to a rss feed in feedburner (I know this site does not contain any viruses, but this is only an example) and let's say this site has a malicious virus of some kind. Is there a chance that I might inherit that virus too? If yes, what precautions can I do to make sure something like that never happens.
