• IIS doing unexpected redirect

  I have website abc.com and abc.co.in.I have two webservers also. The following issue happens only in abc.co.in with same application deployed on same. We have written a custom IHttpModule and do a rewrite to abc.co.in?some=data. Expected behavior: When user enters some.abc.co.in the expected behavior is browser still display some.abc.co.in but internally call abc.co.in?some=data Actual behavior: The page is rendered properly but in browser the URL changes to some.abc.co.in?some=data I checked what is happening 1.First the server receives the request and does a 301 redirect. 2.The redirect location is some.abc.co.in?some=data I am stuck in this for a day and critical to fix to make our site up and running. How to debug this issue further ?.Any one can think of possible cause? • How to get jQuery to work with Prototype

  Ok so here is the situation. Been pulling my hair out on this one. I'm a noob at this. Only been using rails for about 6 weeks. I'm using the standard setup package, and my code leverages prototype helpers heavily. Like I said, noob ;) So I'm trying to put in some jQuery effects, like PrettyPhoto. But what happens is that when the page is first loaded, PrettyPhoto works great. However, once someone uses a Prototype helper, like a link created with link_to_remote, Prettyphoto stops working. I've tried jRails, all of the fixes proposed on the JQuery site to stop conflicts... http://docs.jquery.com/Using_jQuery_with_Other_Libraries ...even done some crazy things likes renaming all of the $ in prototype.js to $$$ to no avail. Either the prototype helpers break, or jQuery breaks. Seems nothing I do can get these to work together. Any ideas?   I need help getting the file to run in Firefox: I have tried adapting scripts so that my file runs in both IE and Firefox but so far it still only works in IE.   I have an AppEngine application that uses the blobstore to store user-provided image data. When I upload images to that application from a form in Chrome it works fine. When I try to upload an image from an Android application it fails. Both methods work fine if I am running against the development server, but the Android upload doesn't work against the live service. • Cannot complete a JSONP call from jQuery to WCF

  Okay, I am trying (poorly) to successfully make a JSONP call from jQuery on a test page to a WCF web service running locally, as a cross-domain call. I have, at one point or another, either gotten a 1012 URI denied error, gotten a response but in Xml, or just had no response at all. Currently, the way I have it configured it spits back a 1012. I did not write this web service, so it is entirely possible that I am just missing a configuration setting somewhere, but I've become so frustrated with it that I think just asking on here will be more productive. • No norwegian characters in LaTeX

  Hi, I have translated a document from English to Norwegian in the LaTeX format, and while using norwegian special characters, I get an error using \usepackage[utf8x]{inputenc} to try and display the norwegian (scandinavian) special characters in PostScript/PDF/DVI format, saying Package utf8x Error: MalformedUTF-8sequence. So while that didn't work, I tried out another possible solution: \usepackage{ucs} \usepackage[norsk]babel And when I tried to save that in Emacs I get this message: These default coding systems were tried to encode text in the buffer `lol.tex': (utf-8-unix (905 . 4194277) (916 . 4194245) (945 . 4194278) (950 . 4194277) (954 . 4194296) (990 . 4194277) (1010 . 4194277) (1013 . 4194278) (1051 . 4194277) (1078 . 4194296) (1105 . 4194296)) However, each of them encountered characters it couldn't encode: utf-8-unix cannot encode these: \345 \305 \346 \345 \370 \345 \345 \346 \345 \370 ... Thanks to Emacs I have the possibility to check out the properties of those characters and the first one tells me: character: \345 (4194277, #o17777745, #x3fffe5) preferred charset: eight-bit (Raw bytes 128-255) code point: 0xE5 syntax: w which means: word buffer code: #xE5 file code: not encodable by coding system utf-8-unix display: not encodable for terminal Which doesn't tell me much. When I try to build this with texi2dvi --dvipdf filename.text I get a perfectly fine PDF, all without the special norwegian characters. When I am about to save Emacs also ask me: "Select coding system (default raw-text):" And I type in utf-8 to choose its coding system. I have also tried to choose default raw-text to see if I get some different result. But nothing. At last I tried \lstset{inputencoding=utf8x, extendedchars=\true} ... a code I came over while trying to google the solution to this problem. Which gives me this error: Undefined control sequence. So basically, I have tried every encoding option I have been able to find and nothing works. I am desperately trying to make this work since the norwegian translation must be published before the deadline. As an additional information I may add that I found out later on that I only had the en_US.UTF-8 in my locale, so I added nb_NO.UTF-8 and nb_NO.ISO-8859-15 and ran locale-gen + reboot without any changes. I hope I provided enough information to get some assistance, the characters in question is æ ø å.

• Problem with PHP 'PHP_SELF'

  I am having a bit of trouble. It does not seem to be a big deal, but I have created a page that the user can edit a MySQL database. Once they click submit it should process the php within the if statement and echo 1 record updated. The problem is that it does not wait to echo the statement. It just seems to ignore the way I wrote my if and display the whole page. • Using JSON Data to Populate a Google Map with Database Objects

  I'm revising this question after reading the resources mentioned in the original answers and working through implementing it. I'm using the google maps api to integrate a map into my Rails site. I have a markets model with the following columns: ID, name, address, lat, lng. On my markets/index view, I want to populate a map with all the markets in my markets table. I'm trying to output @markets as json data, and that's where I'm running into problems. I have the basic map displaying, but right now it's just a blank map. I'm following the tutorials very closely, but I can't get the markers to generate dynamically from the json. Any help is much appreciated!   Hi again. I am using the next instructions to get some registers from my Database. Create the needed models (from the params module): $obj_paramtype_model = new Params_Model_DbTable_Paramtype(); $obj_param_model = new Params_Model_DbTable_Param(); Getting the available locales from the database // This returns a Zend_Db_Table_Row_Abstract class object $obj_paramtype = $obj_paramtype_model->getParamtypeByValue('available_locales'); // This is a query used to add conditions to the next sentence. This is executed from the Params_Model_DbTable_Param instance class, that depends from Params_Model_DbTable_Paramtype class (reference map and dependentTables arrays are fine in both classes) $obj_select = $this->select()->where('deleted_at IS NULL')->order('name'); // Execute the next query, applying the select restrictions. This returns a Zend_Db_Table_Rowset_Abstract class object. This means "Find Params by Paramtype" $obj_params_rowset = $obj_paramtype->findDependentRowset('Params_Model_DbTable_Param', 'Paramtype', $obj_paramtype); // Here the firebug log displays the queries.... Zend_Registry::get('log')->debug($obj_params_rowset); I have a profiler for all my DB executions from Zend. At this point the log and profiler objects (that includes Firebug writers), shows the executed SQL Queries, and the last line displays the resulting Zend_Db_Table_Rowset_Abstract class object. If I execute the SQL Queries in some MySQL Client, the results are as expected. But the Zend Firebug log writer displays as NULL the column values with latin characters (ñ). In other words, the external SQL client shows es_CO | Español de Colombia and en_US | English of United States but the Query results from Zend displays (and returns) es_CO | null and en_US | English of United States. I've deleted the ñ character from Español de Colombia and the query results are just fine in my Zend Log Firebug screen, and in the final Zend Form element. The MySQL database, tables and columns are in UTF-8 - utf8_unicode_ci collation. All my zend framework pages are in UTF-8 charset. I'm using XAMPP 1.7.1 (PHP 5.2.9, Apache at port 90 and MySQL 5.1.33-community) running on Windows 7 Ultimate; Zend Framework 1.10.1. I'm sorry if there is so much information, but I don't really know why could that happen, so I tryed to provide as much related information as I could to help to find some answer.

  I have tried alot to remove this error but could not get success.When i am running this script on localhost its working fine but not working on Joomla frame work. • Error in jquery attribute selector and IE6-7

  Hi, I'm trying to implement a JQuery script to process some areas inside an image map. I'm using $('area[shape="poly"]') as a selector to obtain the areas I'm interested in. It is working fine in IE8 and Firefox, but it is not selecting the elements in IE6 or IE7. This is a test page that shows this problem.
