  • Test if links are external with jQuery / javascript?

    How do I test to see if links are external or internal? Please note: I cannot hard code the local domain. I cannot test for "http". I could just as easily be linking to my own site with an http absolute link. I want to use jQuery / javascript, not css. Both the entities are connected with inverse relation ship. And the relation ship is "delete-Cascaded" What I want: If I remove a record in LatestData, I want the record with same URL in LatestDetailedData must also be deleted. How?

  • Which methods are good to overwrite when creating custom NSManagedObject subclasses?

    The Core Data Programming Guide talks a lot about what not to overwrite. So the question is: What is good to overwrite? Like I see it, I can't overwrite -init or -initWithEntity:insertIntoManagedObjectContext: So where else would be a good overwrite point to set up some basic stuff? Or is it generally not needed to do custom initialization? Does the whole thing rely only on accessing properties which then start to do fancy things? So no custom initializations?

  • managed object subclasses are not generating implementation files and are incorrectly named

    In Xcode 4.6, I generated plenty of managed object subclass files without any problem. But now that I'm trying to do it in Xcode 5, it generates only a .h file. The header file has the correct properties, but it takes the name of my project, rather than the name of the core data entity I selected. Just to be sure I hadn't forgotten something, I carefully followed these steps . What could be going on? Thanks

    Short Version: Using two managed object contexts, and while the context is saving to the store the application bombs when I attempt to merge the two contexts and reload the table view. Long Version: Okay, so my application is set up as thus. 3 view controllers, all table views. Platforms View Controller - Games View Controller (Predicated upon platform selection) - Add Game View Controller I ran into a problem when Games View Controller was bombing when adding a new entry to the context, because the fetched results contorller wanted to update the view for something that didn't match the predicate. As a solution, I rebuilt the Add Controller to use a second NSManagedObject Context, called adding context, following the design pattern in the Core Data Books example. Per the example, an observer is added to watch for the second context to be saved, and then to merge the addingContext with the primary one.   • ScriptAlias makes requests match too many Location blocks. What is going on?

    We wish to restrict access on our development server to those users who have a valid SSL Client certificate. We are running Apache 2.2.16 on Debian 6. However, for some sections (mainly git-http, setup with gitolite on https://my.server/git/) we need an exception since many git clients don't support SSL client certificates. I have succeeded in requiring client cert authentication for the server, and in adding exceptions for some locations. However, it seems this does not work for git. The current setup is as follows: SSLCACertificateFile ssl-certs/client-ca-certs.crt <Location /> SSLVerifyClient require SSLVerifyDepth 2 </Location> # this works <Location /foo> SSLVerifyClient none </Location> # this does not <Location /git> SSLVerifyClient none </Location> I have also tried an alternative solution, with the same results: # require authentication everywhere except /git and /foo <LocationMatch "^/(?!git|foo)"> SSLVerifyClient require SSLVerifyDepth 2 </LocationMatch> In both these cases, a user without client certificate can perfectly access my.server/foo/, but not my.server/git/ (access is refused because no valid client certificate is given). If I disable SSL client certificate authentication completely, my.server/git/ works ok. The ScriptAlias problem Gitolite is setup using the ScriptAlias directive. If I have the following config: <LocationMatch "^/f"> SSLVerifyClient require SSLVerifyDepth 2 </LocationMatch> Then, the following URL requires a client certificate: https://my.server/test/foo. However, the following URL does not: https://my.server/test/somethingElse/foo Note that this only seems to apply for SSL configuration. The following has no effect whatsoever on https://my.server/test/foo: <LocationMatch "^/f"> Order allow,deny Deny from all </LocationMatch> However, it does block access to https://my.server/foo. This presents a major problem for cases where I have some project running at https://my.server/project (which has to require SSL client certificate authorization), and there is a git repository for that project at https://my.server/git/project which cannot require a SSL client certificate. Since the /git/project URL also gets matched agains /project Location blocks, such a configuration seems impossible given my current findings. Question: Why is this happening, and how do I solve my problem? In the end, I want to require SSL Client certificate authorization for the whole server except for /git and /someLocation, with as minimal configuration as possible (so I don't have to modify the configuration each time something new is deployed or a new git repository is added). Note: I rewrote my question (instead of just adding more updates at the bottom) to take into account my new findings and hopefully make this more clear.

    Hello all, I've placed two jqgrid fully customizable tables with add, delete, ...etc buttons. Everything works perfect for the first table. But I've problems with the second table. When i click for instance to delete button, the modal confirmation popup doesn't appear at the right location. It appears outside the visible area and i can only see it when i zoom out only. How can i fix this problem? Is there a way to determine the place of the modal popup of jqgrid or can i disable the confirmation popup after the delete button is pressed. Thanx to all

    EDIT: The memory leaks turned out to be unrelated to the crashes. Leaks are fixed but crashes remain, still mysterious. My (iPhone) app does lots of PDF loading and rendering, some of it threaded. Sometime, it seems always after I flush a page cash after getting a memory warning, the app crashes with a bad access when trying to draw a pdf page stored in an NSData object.   • App using MonoTouch Core Graphics mysteriously crashes

    My app launches with a view controller and a simple view consisting of a button and a subview. When the user touches the button, the subview is populated with scrollviews that display the column headers, row headers, and cells of a spreadsheet. To draw the cells, I use CGBitmapContext to draw the cells, generate an image, and then put the image into the imageview contained in the scrollview that displays the cells. When I run the app on the iPad, it displays the cells just fine, and the scrollview lets the user scroll around in the spreadsheet without any problems. If the user touches the button a second time, the spreadsheet redraws and continues to work perfectly, If, however, the user touches the button a third time, the app crashes. There is no exception information display in the Application Output window. My first thought was that the successive button pushes were using up all the available memory, so I overrode the DidReceiveMemoryWarning method in the view controller and used a breakpoint to confirm that this method was not getting called. My next thought was that the CGBitmapContext was not getting released and looked for a Monotouch equivalent of Objective C's CGContextRelease() function. The closest I could find was the CGBitmapContext instance method Dispose(), which I called, without solving the problem. In order to free up as much memory as possible (in case I was somehow running out of memory without tripping a warning), I tried forcing garbage collection each time I finished using a CGBitmapContext. This made the problem worse. Now the program would crash moments after displaying the spreadsheet the first time. This caused me to wonder whether the Garbage Collector was somehow collecting something necessary to the continued display of graphics on the screen. I would be grateful for any suggestions on further avenues to investigate for the cause of these crashes. I have included the source code for the SpreadsheetView class. The relevant method is DrawSpreadsheet(), which is called when the button is touched. Thank you for your assistance on this matter.   • How do I zoom an MKMapView to the users current location without CLLocationManager?

    With the MKMapView there's an option called "Show users current location" which will automatically show a users location on the map. I'd like to zoom into this location without adding a CLLocationManager (this seems silly if the map is already taking care of this). The problem is, I can't find a nice event that fires when the map has figured out the users location, so I don't know where to put the code that will zoom/scroll. I tried using the viewForAnnotation method like this: - (MKAnnotationView *) mapView:(MKMapView *)map viewForAnnotation:(id <MKAnnotation>)annotation { if ([annotation class] == [MKUserLocation class] ) { NSLog(@"UserLocation annotation"); return [map viewForAnnotation:annotation]; } return nil; } However it doesn't fire if the users location is off the screen. Is there a way to be notified when an MKMapView has got the user location so I can zoom in to it, or do I just have to add a CLLocationManager for this?

  • new[n] and delete every location with delete instead the whole chunk with delete[]

    Is this valid C++ (e.g. not invoking UB) and does it achieve what I want without leaking memory? valgrinds complains about mismatching free and delete but says "no leaks are possible" in the end. int main() { int* a = new int[5]; for(int i = 0; i < 5; ++i) a[i] = i; for(int i = 0; i < 5; ++i) delete &a[i]; } The reason I'm asking: I have a class that uses boost::intrusive::list and I new every object that is added to that list. Sometimes I know how many objects I want to add to the list and was thinking about using new[] to allocate a chunk and still be able to delete every object on its own with the Disposer-style of boost::intrusive.

    Hi, Im looking at using the CARingBuffer in iPhone SDK 3.1 Developer\Extras\CoreAudio\PublicUtility, however was a little puzzled about some of its methods. Firstly this will only make sense really to anyone who's used this class For example the GetTimebounds,SetTimeBounds, ClipTimeBounds functions what are these actually doing? Also when using it, i get crashes caused by example this method in the main Fetch method - ZeroABL(abl, 0, destStartOffset * mBytesPerFrame); CARingBufferError CARingBuffer::Fetch(AudioBufferList *abl, UInt32 nFrames, SampleTime startRead) { SampleTime endRead = startRead + nFrames; SampleTime startRead0 = startRead; SampleTime endRead0 = endRead; SampleTime size; CARingBufferError err = ClipTimeBounds(startRead, endRead); if (err) return err; size = endRead - startRead; SInt32 destStartOffset = startRead - startRead0; if (destStartOffset 0) { ZeroABL(abl, 0, destStartOffset * mBytesPerFrame); } Here the destStartOffset has become larger than the size of the abl Bufferlist so when a memset is done it exceeds the boundaries of the abl Bufferlist causing the crash. Why hasn't this class got checks in to prevent this.

    I have code that runs that gives me the error : Could not find a 'INPUT (text password textarea hidden) or TEXTAREA' tag containing attribute name with value ________ (It's testing a website) It says it can't find a What reason could it be that it can't find it? It finds others without an issue on other pages, but this page for some odd reason it baulks? How can that be?

  • NSFetchedResultsController Crashes When Navigating from One UITableViewController to Another

    In my core data model I have a Person entity that has a "to many" relationship a Course entity (I also have an inverse "to one" relationship from Course to Person). Now I have a subclassed UITableViewController that uses a NSFetchedResultsController to display Person objects which works fine. I have this set up so that when you click on a Person it publishes another subclassed UITableViewController that uses a NSFetchedController as well to display the Courses associated to the person. PROBLEM: I get this exception whenever I click on the Person and attempt to display the Course UITableViewController ... "Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: 'keypath name not found in entity <NSSQLEntity Course id=2>'" Any ideas on how to resolve or troubleshoot? The code between the two ViewControllers is almost identical except for the NSFetchedResultsController being configured for "Person" entities in one and "Course" entities in another

    Hello, I've noticed from here that the contents is only the header Revision 16532: /tags/3.3.2.SR1/samples/richfaces-demo/src/main/java/org/richfaces/demo/dataTableScroller and no listing of the dataTableScrollerBean.java file which the Edit Table/Modal Panel demo JSF code refers to. Where can I access it? I'd like to try the demo out on my machine. I've posted to RichFaces but SO tends to respond faster. Thanks Mark EDIT I've found some code (here) on a forum fortunately which is as close as I've come so far. Looks like it was written by one of the RichFaces authors, but when I included it, Eclipse is complaining about the Facet object which together with another forum and these import javax.ejb.Stateful; import javax.ejb.Stateless; suggest I may be missing j2ee.jar. But I'm running this out of Tomcat which is not an ejb container. I didn't think this RichFaces component required JBoss or equivalent so I must be doing something wrong. All I'm trying to do is try out an Edit Table! Thanks
