• Restrict confirm message on page reload with f5

  In my JSP page I am using post method while submitting the page. So once I go from Page 1 to page 2. In Page 2, If I press F5 I am getting alert as "To display this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (such as a search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier." I knew this question is a bit sarcastic but please give me an Idea. I can't change my method from POST to GET because I need to send large amount of data. Thanks in advance... Edited: In my Page1.JSP I call onClick function in that function I call action as "/page2servlet.do". Now, In Java side I use Spring Framework. With MVC Object I return to page2.jsp. So where do the response.sendRedirect Fit.

• Anonymous functions IE issue/problem in Javascript

  Hi guys, I am having a javascript written like this. imageDiv.onclick = function(){xyz.deleteImage(param1, param2);return false;}; Now things are fine in Firefox, Chrome and Safari. But I have a strange issue in Internet Explorer. What happens is, when I click on the imageDiv in my page, the deleteImage() method is getting invoked twice. One being the actual deleteimage() method thats given here and another is the deleteimage() method that I have in the page. How to resolve this issue. Please help.

  I have a div that I want to toggle between displaying or not when a user clicks on a piece of text. I have a javascript function that toggles a div on or off. That works fine. What I don't know how to do is to have a triangle that points to the right or down depending on whether the div is open. My HTML looks like this: <a onclick="toggleDiv('myDiv');">Click here to expand or close div</a> <div id="myDiv" style="display:none"> ... </div> How do I add one of those triangles and have it point the right way, ideally with just HTML, Javascript, and CSS?   Hi, I have an ASP.NET 2.0 webapp (with C#). I wanted to add a button which, when clicked would highlight selected text. By 'highlight', I mean change the CSS properties of the text so that it can stand out. I think this can be done with some clientside JavaScript. I know that you can assign a Javascript function to the onclick event of an HTML input button, but since I'm not very proficient at JS the function itself I have no idea how to write... Is there any way i can call JavaScript before the list reloads the save the scroll position? • Javascript opens new window despite no call

  I have a javascript that opens a new window for "PreChecking" a site. The problem is when i click the button, it works fine... but wichever i button i press next makes the method fire again, despite i doesn't call it. Its just the button with id "lnkPrecheck" that should call the method. Have searched far and wide for a slolution that just opens a new window for the lnkPrecheck button, not the others on the site. THere must be a way for only 1 of 3 buttons makes the function call, not all of them!
