    Hi, I'm trying to get the url portion of the following string: url(images/ui-bg_highlight-soft_75_cccccc_1x100.png) So the required part if images/ui-bg_highlight-soft_75_cccccc_1x100.png. Currently I've got this: url\((?<url>.*)\) But it seems to be choking on the following example: url(images/ui-bg_flat_0_aaaaaa_40x100.png) 50% 50% repeat-x; opacity: .30;filter:Alpha(Opacity=30) Which results in images/ui-bg_flat_0_aaaaaa_40x100.png) 50% 50% repeat-x; opacity: .30;filter:Alpha(Opacity=30...   • How to measure the time HTTP requests spend sitting in the accept-queue?

    I am using Apache2 on Ubuntu 9.10, and I am trying to tune my configuration for a web application to reduce latency of responses to HTTP requests. During a moderately heavy load on my small server, there are 24 apache2 processes handling requests. Additional requests get queued. Using "netstat", I see 24 connections are ESTABLISHED and 125 connections are TIME_WAIT. I am trying to figure out if that is considered a reasonable backlog. Most requests get serviced in a fraction of a second, so I am assuming requests move through the accept-queue fairly quickly, probably within 1 or 2 seconds, but I would like to be more certain. Can anyone recommend an easy way to measure the time an HTTP request sits in the accept-queue? The suggestions I have come across so far seem to start the clock after the apache2 worker accepts the connection. I'm trying to quantify the accept-queue delay before that. thanks in advance, David Jones

    Hello I have a rails application where I have to subtract 2 time stamps and display the result on the webpage I have used the following sql statement and I am getting the results. select (julianday(resolutions.created_at)-julianday(tickets.created_at))*24 from tickets,resolutions the value of tickets.created_at is 2010-04-05 18:59:02 which is a time stamp and value of resolutions.created_at is 2010-04-08 08:10:33 Now where do I put this sql so that I can be seen in my webpage.     We're in the process of porting our .NET Rally code from SOAP to the REST .NET API. One thing I'm looking to replicate is the ability to upload attachments. I'm following a very similar procedure as to the one outlined in this posting: Rally SOAP API - How do I add an attachment to a Hierarchical Requirement Whereby the image is read into a System.Drawing.Image. We use the ImageToBase64 function to convert the image to a byte array which then gets assigned to the AttachmentContent, which is created first. Then, the Attachment gets created, and wired up to both AttachmentContent, and the HierarchicalRequirement. All of the creation events work great. A new attachment called "Image.png" gets created on the Story. However, when I download the resulting attachment from Rally, Image.png has zero bytes! I've tried this with different images, JPEG's, PNG's, etc. all with the same results. An excerpt of the code showing the process is included below. Is there something obvious that I'm missing?   • Conky graph frozen in time

    Is it possible to plot a graph in conky? Give a function a set of values 0-100 and conky plots a graph similar to execgraph? What I want is to visualize how a variable changed in last week. For example, I'd like to make a graph of gold prices in last 14 days. One way I could do that is use "execigraph 86400 python fetch_price_of_gold.py" and keep my box up 24/7 and eventually I'd get a nice graph. But, unfortunately my box isn't up 24/7. Not to mention I'd have to wait 14 days after every reboot ;-) So, any other ideas? :-)

    Hi, I am new to iphone development. I have created five buttons in the view controller. If i clicked the button it goes to the corresponding view. Now i want to display the button in highlighted state when it is clicked. It should go back to the normal state only when i click the other button.(See the image below). I have set the another image for highigthting buttons when i clicked it, but it shows that highlighted state only one sec. Now i want to display the buttons highlighted till another button is clicked. Same like a Tabbar operations.(I have used buttons instead of tabbar for my requirements).     Please point me to the iPhone application launch time guidelines. I see that there is a hard limit of ~24 seconds. OS kills application if it did not started in that time with the message: com.bundle.id failed to launch in time There is also a QA article on this. (24 seconds is the time until OS on my phone kills the app.) But I think that there should be a shorter soft limit somewhere in the docs. However, my google-fu failed me and I was not able to find it. Any help?

    Hey Everyone, So I have some nested lists (only one level deep) and I'm running into trouble with the CSS :hover feature. I only want the hover to apply to the parent class, but I can't figure that one out. Why? I thought imageNamed autoreleased itself which means the release here is redundant and should break when the autorelease occurs.   • Logictech USB HID controller message

    I have a Logitech game controller(http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Dual-Action-Game-Pad/dp/B0000ALFCI). I'm using c# and Microsoft's HID driver to track what buttons are being pressed. Each button press sends a Byte Array that has 8 values. The problems is that I don't know what those 8 value represent. Here is an example: 0, 128, 126, 127, 130, 24, 24, 0, 4, 252 0, 128, 126, 127, 130, 40, 40, 0, 4, 252 0, 128, 126, 127, 127, 72, 72, 0, 4, 252 0, 128, 126, 127, 127, 136, 136, 0, 4, 252 Those are the values of the Byte Array for button press 1, 2, 3, 4 respectively. I see where the values are changing, but I'm unsure what they represent. I'm unable to find any specs on Microsoft HID driver. Can someone point me in the right direction?

So I am using Query Syntax for this and reached up to this point. var dept_list= from dept in DtMapGuestDepartment.AsEnumerable() where dept.Field<long>("PK_GUEST_ID")==long.Parse(63) select dept; This should give me the list of all departments that has guest id =63 Now I want to select all departments_name and parent_name from Table 2 where guest_id=63 i.e. departments that i fetched above.     Brief: convert ( -size 585x128 gradient: ) NewImage.png How do I change the above ImageMagick command so it takes the width and height from an existing image? I need it to remain a one line command. Details: I'm trying to programatically create an image reflection using ImageMagick. The effect I am looking for is similar to what you would see when looking at an object on the edge of a pool of water. There is a pretty good thread on what I am trying to do here but the solution isn't exactly what I am looking for. Since I will be calling ImageMagick from a C#.Net application I want to use one call without any temp files and return the image through stdout. So far I have this... convert OriginalImage.png ( OriginalImage.png -flip -blur 3x5 \ -crop 100%%x30%%+0+0 -negate -evaluate multiply 0.3 \ -negate ( -size 585x128 gradient: ) +matte -compose copy_opacity -composite ) -append NewImage.png This works ok but doesn't give me the exact fade I am looking for. Instead of a nice solid fade from top to bottom it is giving me a fade from top left to bottom right. I added the (-negate -evaluate multiply 0.3 -negate) section in to lighten it up a bit more since I wasn't getting the fade I wanted. I also don't want to have to hard code in the size of the image when creating the gradient ( -size 585x128 gradient: ) I'm also going to want to keep the original image's transparency if possible. To go to stdout I plan on replacing "NewImage.png" with "-"

    I am trying to make a simple that needs to create an NSImage and I want to put the .png file in the resources of my package contents. I added the .png file to my resources directory in Xcode and when I create the applicaiton the .png file shows up in my resources inside package contents but I am havhing trouble figuring out how to reference file here is what I tried: [image initWithContentsOfFile:@"resources/draw-button.png"]; I figured that my package contents would be my current directory so I thought this would work, but it does. How do I reference my resources directory?

    Hullo First, I want to use bash for this and the script should run on as many systems as possible (I don't know if the target system will have python or whatever installed). Here's the problem: I have a file with binary data and I need to replace a few bytes in a certain position. I've come up with the following to direct bash to the offset and show me that it found the place I want: dd bs=1 if=file iseek=24 conv=block cbs=2 | hexdump Now, to use "file" as the output: echo anInteger | dd bs=1 of=hextest.txt oseek=24 conv=block cbs=2 This seems to work just fine, I can review the changes made in a hex editor. Problem is, "anInteger" will be written as the ASCII representation of that integer (which makes sense) but I need to write the binary representation. How do I tell the command to convert the input to binary (possibly from a hex)?

So it generates a random number, and the switch algorithm swaps the chosen image with the one in the imgview. but I want a switch in the settings app to toggle which set of images to use.
