• Problem with Models on Master Page View.

  Have a problem with master page views and models. In the first image, I have a simple view in which I am trying to access the Model properties. None of the model properties are available at this time (this is the problem). If I use a <%= Model.blah % then you can see that the model properties are available. Second photo. In the last photo you will now see that I can access the Model properties that I was trying to access in the first photo. An error will be thrown if viewing this page if you don't first do <%= with the model. CS1061: 'object' does not contain a definition for 'User' and no extension method 'User' accepting a first argument of type 'object' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) http://yfrog.com/8b43656447p So why is this happening?

  Hi all, When scrolling through table, my application crash and console said it was EXC_BAD_ACCESS. I've look everywhere, and people suggest me to use NSZombieEnabled on my executables environment variables. I've set NSZombieEnabled, NSDebugEnabled, MallocStackLogging and MallocStackLoggingNoCompact to YES on my executables.   Hi, I have a small problem in html forms. • Problems with .net and toolbar, menu & status bar rendermode (blue) and standard form (grey)

  Hiya, I'm a bit of a newbie to .NET so please ignore my ignorance. If you look at the above image (a complete prototype, ignore black bits :)) you will see lovely menus, toolbars & statusbars all using windows XP render mode and in a funky blue. Look at the form, labels, checkboxes and other buttons and you see horrible old school windows grey. These components don't have a render mode. My question: is there any way to show everything in XP style or do I have to chose new components? Thx. A.

• Using EXR images in OpenCV

  Hi there! I'm currently working on a project with OpenEXR and I would like to implement some Blob detection algorithms. To do this I figured that I could use OpenCV as it says in the documentation that it can open OpenEXR format files. I have all the libraries installed and working as I've been doing other things. I open a simple jpg file with openCV cvLoadImage. It works fine. But when i try to open any .exr file it doesn't seam to like it. I get a gray window where there should be the image display. Has anyone done any tests with OpenCV and OpenEXR libraries working together? Have they worked for you? What do you think? Thanks.

  First I need to state that I am not the developer so I will state the issue in business terms but please respond with a technical solution as I will be passing on your posts to the developer. We are building a web based application in SilverLight and WPF that consists of communication between a customer service rep and a customer. The application will inlcude a webcam that will provide the customer with the ability to see the customer service rep and the rep will also be able to see an image of themselves but will not be able to see the customer. Similar functionality to a live web chat with video component. There could potentially be bandwidth issues and we do not want the customer to have to download anything. Any recommendations on how to do this?

  Assuming we have a polygon coordinates as polygon = [(x1, y1), (x2, y2), ...], the following code displays the polygon: import matplotlib.pyplot as plt plt.fill(*zip(*polygon)) plt.show() By default it is trying to adjust the aspect ratio so that the polygon (or whatever other diagram) fits inside the window, and automatically changing it so that it fits even after resizing. Which is great in many cases, except when you are trying to estimate visually if the image is distorted. How to fix the aspect ratio to be strictly 1:1? (Not sure if "aspect ratio" is the right term here, so in case it is not - I need both X and Y axes to have 1:1 scale, so that (0, 1) on both X and Y takes an exact same amount of screen space. And I need to keep it 1:1 no matter how I resize the window.)

  I want to set the Expires header for all image/* and text/css. I'm doing this in a Filter. However: before calling chain.doFilter(..) the Content-type is not yet "realized" after calling chain.doFilter(..) the Content-type is set, but so is content-length, which forbids adding new headers (at least in Tomcat implementation) I can use the extensions of the requested resource, but since some of the css files are generated by richfaces by taking them from inside jar-files, the name of the file isn't x.css, but is /xx/yy/zz.xcss/DATB/.... So, is there a way to get the Content-type before the response is committed.

• IE7,8 Alpha PNG fade

  Does anyone know what is causing this issue? http://i.imgur.com/z1pzh.png The div in question has a solid 1x1 alpha opaque png repeating in its background-image property, and it's supposed to be all one bg color, not that fading effect. It doesn't appear in FF, Opera or Chrome. If you need more details, I can provide some CSS, but I assure you the CSS is in order. If someone doesn't just out-and-out know why this is happening, they more than likely won't find an answer looking in the code.

• How to set parameters in Python zlib module

  I want to write a Python program that makes PNG files. My big problem is with generating the CRC and the data in the IDAT chunk. Python 2.6.4 does have a zlib module, but there are extra settings needed. The PNG specification REQUIRES the IDAT data to be compressed with zlib's deflate method with a window size of 32768 bytes, but I can't find how to set those parameters in the Python zlib module. As for the CRC for each chunk, the zlib module documentation indicates that it contains a CRC function. I believe that calling that CRC function as crc32(data,-1) will generate the CRC that I need, though if necessary I can translate the C code given in the PNG specification. Note that I can generate the rest of the PNG file and the data that is to be compressed for the IDAT chunk, I just don't know how to properly compress the image data for the IDAT chunk after implementing the initial filtering step.

• Small gaps in section headers with custom headers - iPhone / Objective-C

  Hi there! Since I wanted to use the standard section header with a different font size, I just made custom section headers by using an UIImageView with the standard section header as an image. It looks fine at first, but when I scroll the table, there are small gaps below and above the section headers: Since I am not allowed to post images or more than one hyperlink yet, I will have to provide you with one link to those images: Click me! Picture: How it looks like without touching anything Picture: Dragging the table down Picture: Dragging/Scrolling the table up So as you can hopefully see, there is a small empty gap under (2nd pic) and above (3rd pic) the section header. Another thing to mention is, that the standard behaviour of non-custom section headers is, that they don't become transparent when I drag the table down (making the table offset < 0.0).   Hi, I am very much curious about Nike + iPod app look and feel. They have selected uitabbar buttons red in color The tableviewcell selection style as red in color. The disclosure indicator is also red in color. The solution in my mind for two of these is: I can use a red colored arrow image to use it as accessory view. I can flip between a red colored and white colored view with animation for having the selection style But I am clueless of how the tabbar thing is to be done. I am very curious to know the tricks behind this, I also accept that I may be wrong with my other two solutions. So please suggest the solution for any of the problems. • Action "foo/foobar" does not exist error in Symfony

  I am saving pictures under my web folder in the folder: web/media/photo In the template that displays the photo, I have the following snippet: <?php echo link_to(image_tag('media/photo/filename.jpg', '@some_url); ?> When I display the view, although the photo is displayed correctly and the link works, I get the following error in my php_errors.log file: Action "media/photo" does not exist. Why is symfony trying to parse the path to the image as a url? Does anyone know how to fix this?

• Blurred PNGs on UIView, using Interface Builder

  Hey everyone, I've added some UIImageViews with png images to my view, using interface builder. Initially they are added off-screen. Later, I animate them onto the screen with CoreAnimation, like so: [UIView beginAnimations:@"slide" context:nil]; [UIView setAnimationDuration:0.1f]; [UIView setAnimationCurve:UIViewAnimationCurveEaseInOut]; [UIView setAnimationDelegate:self]; image.frame = CGRectMake(81+1, 390, 150, 80); [UIView commitAnimations]; Once they appear onscreen, they look really blurred or fuzzy. I've heard of this happening before. Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?

The control is then used on several different pages, sometimes within an updatePanel, sometimes not. I have the following code to handle loading the jQuery after a partial postback when the control is displayed within an update panel.   Hi, I am trying to include jpeg files in latex \includegraphics[width=57.6mm, height=43.2mm]{../../results2/html/zerooneloss_stumps.jpg} With specified the width and height and compiled with pdflatex, however, it produces the error: ! LaTeX Error: Cannot determine size of graphic in ../../results2/html/zerooneloss_stumps.jpg (no BoundingBox). The true size of the image is 576x432 in pixels. Have I specified the size correctly in the latex file? Anyway to use the default setting without need to specify the width and height? If I don't specify the them in the latex file, \includegraphics[]{../../results2/html/zerooneloss_stumps.jpg} I still get the same no BoundingBox error. Thanks and regards!
