  I got problem when implementing my CMS using Codeigniter 1.7.2 and Dwoo. I use Phil Sturgeon Dwoo library. My problem is I want user create template from the admin panel, it means all template will be stored into database including all Dwoo variable and functions.My questions: Is it possible to load dwoo template from database? How to parse dwoo variable or function from database? • Animating resizing and moving UIView at the same time

  I'd like to "Stretch" a UIView to the right side, meaning increase it's frame.size.width by foo pixels and at the same time decreasing it's frame.origin.x by foo pixels, using [UIView beginAnimations] syntax. However, if I do that, when the animation begins the view immediately resizes, and then starts the animation for the origin. CGRect currFrame = someView.frame; currFrame.size.width += 100; currFrame.origin.x -= 100; [UIView beginAnimations:@"Anim1" context:nil]; someView.frame = currFrame; [UIView setAnimationDuration:0.7]; [UIView commitAnimations]; I've also tried breaking the animation down to 2 parts but then I can't keep the right position in place.   I have three models: Company, Car, Passenger Company hasMany Cars Car hasMany Passenger These relations seem to work independetly: Car shows all Passengers and Company shows all Cars. But I cannot resolve the Company - Passenger (Show all Passengers of a Company). My controller for Company: function index(){ //grab all companies and pass it to the view: $companies = $this->Company->find('all'); $this->set('companies', $companies); } This displays all companies with all their respective cars. However the array does not contain an entry for passenger. What do I have to do to completely resovle the Company - Car - Passenger relation?

• SetSel on EN_SETFOCUS or WM_SETFOCUS doesn't work

  I've ran into next mystic thing in Winapi/MFC, I have an edit box, contents of which I have to select on Tab, Lclick, Rclick, Mclick and so on. The sort of obvious path is to handle the SETFOCUS message and call SetSel(0, -1), which should select all text. But it doesn't work! What's wrong? I tried googling, everyone seems to override Lclilks or handle SetSel in parent windows, but this is wrong from encapsulation point of view, also multiple clicks (user wants to insert something in the middle of the text) will break, and so on. Why isn't my approach working, I tried like 10 different ways, tried to trap all possible focus messages, looked up info on MSDN, but nothing works as expected. Also, I need to recreate the carret on focus, which also doesn't seem to work. SETFOCUS message gets trapped alright. If I add __asm int 3, it breaks every time. It's the create carret and setsel that gets swallowed it seems.

  Hello Hoping that using something like this demo it is possible to drag items within and between two columns, and update their order either live or with a "save" button to MySQL. Point being that you can make changes and return to the page later to view or update your ordering. http://pilotmade.com/draggable2.html Doing it for just one column is fine, but when I try to pass the order of both columns, the issue seems to be passing multiple serialized arrays with jQuery to a PHP/MySQL update script. Any insight would be much appreciated.

• Objective-C : Member variable is losing reference between method calls.

  Hello, I've been having with an objective-c class which appears to be losing its pointer reference between methods of the same class. In the MyTableViewController.h file, I declare: @interface SettingsTableViewController : UITableViewController <UITextFieldDelegate>{ OCRAppDelegate *delegate; } MyTableViewController.m file - (id) init { self = [ super initWithStyle: UITableViewStyleGrouped ]; delegate = [(OCRAppDelegate *)[[UIApplication sharedApplication] delegate] retain]; } The problem is when the "MyTableViewController" view appears again and a different method is executed within that same class, the delegate pointer (which was assigned during the init method) is no longer there. I tried to retain, but to no avail. Would anyone know why this is, it seems like perhaps it is a fundamental Objective-C issue which I am missing. Appreciate your help. Thanks, Winston

• How do I convert PDF to HTML programmatically?

  Are there any classes, COM objects, command line utilities, or anything else that I can make an API for that can convert a PDF to an HTML document? Obviously the conversion might be a little rough since PDFs can contain a lot more than HTML can describe. I found a utility called pdftohtml on Source Forge, but quite honestly it does a horrible job with the conversion. I don't care if the software is free or commercial, but is there anything out there at all that I can incorporate with my own software to do this sort of conversion at least decently? I know Google's developed their own method of doing this, since you can click "View as HTML" on a PDF attached to an email through Gmail, but I was hoping there was something out available to the public. Remember, PDF to HTML. I'm NOT worried about HTML to PDF.

  Hi, This is not a specific bug, its more about not knowing how to do something. I've an NSTextView and I need to paint the background of specific ranges of text when the user clicks on a specific part of the text view. I've tried this but I just get erratic behaviour in the sense that sometimes text loses the foreground color or the background doesn't span the whole range: NSLayoutManager *layoutManager = [myTextView layoutManager]; [layoutManager removeTemporaryAttribute:NSBackgroundColorAttributeName forCharacterRange:range]; [[myTextView layoutManager] setTemporaryAttributes:attributes forCharacterRange:range]; For the sake of simplicity assume that range is always a valid string (it is in my testing environment).

  Hi, Using Xerces SAX parser I try to retrieve all elements and their attributes of this XML file: -------------- Begin XML file to parse ---------------- <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <invoice xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="my.xsd"> <parties> (...) -------------- End XML file to parse ---------------- When getting the attributes for the element 'invoice', Xerces++ does not insert the 'xmlns:xsi' attribute in the list of 'Attributes' for the element 'invoice'. However, the attribute 'xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation' is inserted in the list. Why? Is there a specific reason from an XML standard point of view ? Is there a way to configure Xerces++ SAX parser so that it inserts this attribute as well? (The documentation on setting the parser properties does not tell how). Thanks for your help.

  I'm enabling Joomla SEF , and get the following results when I link to an article from a homepage (frontpage) article: anywebsite.com/component/content/article/26/141-Z1-Z2-Z3-Z4 but when linking from other articles I get the result I want which is : anywebsite.com/Categor/141-Z1-Z2-Z3-Z4 and the link is both equal which is : index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=141:Z1-Z2-Z3-Z4&catid=26 any idea?! Edit: Does manually linking with this SEF link is a good idea , instead of waiting for joomla to convert it .. ? atleast as a last resort?

  Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to get the URL of the returned resource after a AJAX call in JavaScript? I want to use this with a form, which is in "mysite.com/users/add.html". This is a Spring MVC controller. If the validation of the form fails the controller will return the "users/add" view, but if the validation is OK it will do a redirect to "mysite.com/users/index.html", using return new ModelAndView(new RedirectView("/users/index.html")); Is there a way in JavaScript to find the URL of the returned page? • Dijit.Dialog 1.4, setting size is limited to 600x400 no matter what size I set it.

  I'm trying to set the size of a dijit.Dialog, but it seems limited to 600x400, no matter what size I set it. I've copied the code from dojocampus and the dialog appear, but when i set the size larger, it only shows 600x400. Using firebug and selecting items inside the dialog, I see that they are larger than the dialog, but don't show correctly. I set it up to scroll, but the bottom of the scrollbar is out of view. In firebug, I've check the maxSize from _Widget and it is set to infinity. In the past I have used Steve Sanderson's method to HTML encode by default at runtime: http://blog.stevensanderson.com/2007/12/19/aspnet-mvc-prevent-xss-with-automatic-html-encoding/ I have a need to alter img src and a href attributes before they are spat out in the user's browser. There is a solution using JavaScript but this is not ideal for several reasons. Intercepting the compiler is not an option because of unnecessarily using Response.Write for trivial HTML. Is there something I can do with HTTP modules or the view engine? Any thoughts? Cheers.

I need to configure to it have multiple columns mapped to my list view. Do I need to change any javascript function or use sharepoint designer. I have spent a week trying to accomplish this.   I have uploaded the video into my rails application by using thoughtbot-paperclip then the video is converted into "flv" format by using ffmpeg. For your reference here I specified some of my model sample code: model.rb: has_attached_file :source,:styles => {:thumb => "137x85>" } If i specified :url or :path option it doesn't worked correctly. In my view I played my video by using the following line: <%= @model.source.url.gsub(/\?.*/,'')%> If i use <%= @model.source.url%>, the video is not played. When do the puts for video url it shows me the video URL as /source/original/sample/sample.fly?22000009. I knew that the last portion is a timestamp, but i want to use <%= @model.source.url%>. What's my mistake here can any one correct me please?

• How to add star rating to UITableView cell?

  I need to display a bunch of UITableViewCell in my iPhone application. Sample look below. I know how I can enable accessory view and image to UITableView cell but the problem is that I need to add a star rating as visible on the screen. There's no fancy logic behind it, it will just be few images that will be either enabled or disabled. I though that I could create a custom UITableViewCell in NIB but how would I use it in cellForRowAtIndexPath method. If it was just one custom cell I'd just provide an outlet for it and hook it with a property and use it there. But since it would be used multiple times I think I'll need to clone it or copy somehow. What is the simpliest way of adding such stuff to UITableViewCell?

Is this possible using html.checkbox or html.checkboxfor. one way is recommended in http://stackoverflow.com/questions/626901/asp-net-mvc-rc2-checkboxes-with-explicit-values. Is there any other better way i want to do this as ModelState.IsValid is returning false because of hidden field value attribute Regards

  Hi Experts, I am working on a website in asp.net mvc. I have a route routes.MapRoute( "Default", // Route name "{controller}/{action}/{id}", // URL with parameters new { controller = "Home", action = "Index", id = UrlParameter.Optional } // Parameter defaults ); which is the default route. Now I have method public ActionResult ErrorPage(int errorno) { return View(); } now if i want to run this code with http://something/mycontroller/Errorpage/1 it doesnt work. but if i change the parameter name to id from errorno it works. Is it cumpulsory to have same parameter name for this method. Or I need to create seperate routes for such situations. Regards Parminder

• Downloading Eclipse's Source Code

  I'm doing a study on large Java projects and would like to view the source code for Eclipse. I have gone to this url (http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/CVS_Howto) and figured that the most useful cvs repository for me to look at would be this one: :pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/eclipse (The Eclipse platform project) However, when looking at this repository, it has so many modules! Which modules should I be trying to check out? I don't necessarily want to build the IDE from source, however, I just want to get the core Eclipse code base to perform some analysis. Would I just check out any modules starting with "org.eclipse..."? Should I be checking out any of the others? Or is there an easier way to get the source? I read somewhere that you can get the source from the binary version of Eclipse but I am unsure where to find the source.
