  • Drupal Exposed Views Filter custom date

    I have a date filter that I have exposed on my view. I want to make the interface more user friendly and tighten up the look of it. Instead of selecting a date I would like to select from the following options. The last day The last week The last year All This would then filter on the date field. Is this possible? How would you go about doing this?

  • jQuery shifting blocks of content to top on click/toggle

    I have blocks of content that are toggled on/off via jQuery and I want to have the most recent one clicked to shuffle to the top of the content area. There are 4 that can be enabled and if you do it in a random order, or even intended order, it is hard to tell which one you just opened if it's not in the view window.   • Why are Maven Goals not added by IntelliJ?

    I have produced a new Maven Project from gae-archetype-gwt from within IntelliJ, and everything is generated well, but the gae:... goals won't show up in the Maven View, and if I try to update Repository Indices, apart from the local repository I get errors only. When I run gae:unpack from terminal, everything works fine. Im running Ubuntu 10.04 Beta 1 and am using open-jdk, for which IntelliJ is also configured. UPDATE: WORKS FINE WITH UBUNTU 10.04 FINAL + JDK FROM PARTNER REPOSITORY

  • Get UITableView to scroll to the selected UITextField and Avoid Being Hidden by Keyboard

    I have a UITextField in a table view on a UIViewController (not a UITableViewController). If the table view is on a UITableViewController, the table will automatically scroll to the textField being edited to prevent it from being hidden by the keyboard. But on a UIViewController it does not. I have tried for a couple of days reading through multiple ways to try to accomplish this and I cannot get it to work. The closest thing that actually scrolls is: -(void) textFieldDidBeginEditing:(UITextField *)textField { // SUPPOSEDLY Scroll to the current text field CGRect textFieldRect = [textField frame]; [self.wordsTableView scrollRectToVisible:textFieldRect animated:YES]; } However this only scrolls the table to the topmost row. What seems like an easy task has been a couple of days of frustration. I would like to know if there is a way to get the preview used by windows explorer. For example windows explorer creates a small thumbnail for a pdf document for example, and displays it when the user chooses to view "big icons". Is there a way to retrieve that preview? If one wants to design database application using MVC model, where to place TDataSet components? Should they stay on form and therefore be a part of View? Or should they be encapsulated inside some Model object? If the latter how they could be bound to visual components?

  • MVC Entity Framework: Cannot open user default database. Login failed.

    This type of stuff drives me nuts. I'm having trouble finding the exact issue that I'm having, maybe I just don't know the terminology. Anyway, I had a working website using MVC and Entity Framework, but then I coded an error in a partial view page (ascx). Then all of a sudden I started to get this message. Cannot open user default database. Login failed. Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM' I've found plenty of suggestions about opening SQL Server Management Studio, Double Click on Security, Double Click on Logins, Double click on NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM and then double click on User Mapping. In this view I'm suppose to check the box for my database so that this user is mapped to this login. However, since I created my database in Visio Studio 2008 as part of my solution, it doesn't show up to allow me to click on it. So what do I do now? What drives me nuts is that everything was working fine. I was using my computer name to access the website and everything was working fine until the coding error. I've fix the error but still getting the error. I should also mention that this error started yesterday too around the same time but later cleared itself up. If I use localhost to access the site, it works just fine. IIS7 configuration for my website: Application Pool = DefaultAppPool Physical Path Credentials Logon = ClearText With in connection strings. I do see the one for my database in this solution. Entry Type is local metadata=res://*/Models.DataModel.csdl|res://*/Models.DataModel.ssdl|res://*/Models.DataModel.msl; provider=System.Data.SqlClient; provider connection string="Data Source=.\SQLEXPRESS;AttachDbFilename=|DataDirectory|\FFBall.mdf;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True;MultipleActiveResultSets=True" And somewhere I remember changing the identity from Network Service to LocalSystem. Because when I first stared I was getting this same message, but I changed this value and it started working. I saw that suggested somewhere too but I do not recall. Wait I remember now, I believe in IIS7, under Application Pools, DefaultAppPool identity is set to LocalSystem. Additional things I've tried. Restart the computer Recycle the application pool. Antivirus isn't running. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Now look at that! I am having trouble with one of the simplest goals: updating a plain TextView with the value of a SeekBar. This is my approach: @Override public void onProgressChanged(SeekBar seekBar, int progress, boolean fromUser) { if (fromUser) { mInfoText.setText(mFunction.getUserFriendlyString(progress)); } } It basically works, but it kind of blocks the whole UI when I'm dragging. (Note: I tried both View.post() and Activity.runOnUiThread()). Am I overlooking something?

    In my routes.rb I have this: map.namespace :admin do |admin| admin.resources :galleries do |galleries| galleries.resources :gallery_images, :as=>'images' end end rake routes shows the route created like this: admin_gallery GET /admin/galleries/:id and when I go to this url in my browser: http://192.168.2.2:3000/admin/galleries/11/ I get this error: Unknown action No action responded to 11 But I would have expected it to use the show action/view, what am I doing wrong?

    i'm building an Android App that has many many TextView that i want to be clickable. I've tried to assign to the single TextView the properties android:clickable="true" and android:onClick="clickHandler" and when the app fires the clickHandler(View v) i correctly get, through the v.getId(), the clicked item. What i don't like is to define, for every TextView, the properties android:clickable and android:onClick ... is there something that i can do by code to say: "all the textviews are clickable and click is handled in 'clickHandler' ?"     In my android program, I have a spinner that allows the user to select different times. Each selection is processed with Joda time to subtract the minutes. It works fine for minutes 0 to 59 and 61 and greater. However, when 60 minutes is subtracted, the time is not updated, and the original time is shown. How do I get Joda time to subtract 60 minutes?   • I can't send gps values via the eclipse emulator control panel

    I try to send gps longitude and latitude to the android emulator with eclipse, but the values seem to never be set. Instead the onStatusChanged method of my listener is called. Edit I send those values through the emulator controls in the ddms view in eclipse. If I send data via telnet I get the correct data shown and the onLocationChanged method of my listener is changed.
