  According to Oracle's site, the class Color has a constructor that accepts a single int value which represents an RGB value. http://download.oracle.com/javase/1.4.2/docs/api/java/awt/Color.html#Color(int) An RGB color is actually three different numbers ranging from 0-255. So combining them together to make one int would look like this: White 255,255,255 White 255255255 Right? So I pass this to the constructor and get a vibrant teal color. What am I doing wrong? What haven't I understood?

I know how to get the properties from a single instance of People but can't for the life of me figure out how to get it from PeopleList. I have a table, which is paged, and I have 2 controls above the table: Dropdown that defines order of the results and apply button next to it Textbox that defines a filter and apply button next to it What I need to achieve is that if the user changes the order or adds a filter I fire of an AJAX call to my action like such: /Membership/Users?sort=value&filter=value&page=pagenumber. So my controller action is: // GET Membership/Users?sort=&filter=&page= public ActionResult Users(string sort, string filter, string page) So I have 3 questions: Is this the correct approach? What would be the best way to ensure that the query string is maintained, bearing in mind that the action will nearly always be called by Jquery/Ajax functions? And there are some of the zipcodes which has no entry in "zipcode" table, so that should remain null. And the major issue is like I have more then 50,00,000 records in my db. So, query should support this feature. I have tried some of the solutions but unfortunately not getting proper output. Any help would be appreciated...

  I'm using backbone for a reasonably complicated form.   Okay, let's start with an example. What I want to do now is to hide an option. Adding style = "display:none" will not help. The option would not appear in the dropdownlist, but using the arrow keys, you can still select it. Essentially, it does exactly what the code says. It isn't displayed, and it stops there. A JQuery function of $("#1").hide() will not work. Plus, I don't only want to hide the option, I want to completely remove it. Any possibility on doing so? Do I have to use parent/sibling/child elements? If so, I'm still not sure how. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.           Another question - It's related Ok, so I found out that there is a .remove() available in JQuery. Works well. • How do I keep a table in Sync across 4 db's to be used in SQL Replication Filtering?

  I have a Win Form, Data Entry, application that uses 4 seperate Data Bases. This is an occasionally connected app that uses Merge Replication (SQL 2005) to stay in Sync. This is working just fine. The next hurdle I am trying to tackle is adding Filters to my Publications. Right now we are replicating 70mbs, compressed, to each of our 150 subscribers when, truthfully, they only need a tiny fraction of that. Using Filters I am able to accomplish this(see code below) but I had to make a mapping table in order to do so. This mapping table consists of 3 columns. A PrimaryID(Guid), WorkerName(varchar), and ClientID(int). The problem is I need this table present in all FOUR Databases in order to use it for the filter since, to my knowledge, views or cross-db query's are not allowed in a Filter Statement. What are my options? Seems like I would set it up to be maintained in 1 Database and then use Triggers to keep it updated in the other 3 Databases. In order to be a part of the Filter I have to include that table in the Replication Set so how do I flag it appropriately. Is there a better way, altogether?   hi, i have webpage in which a webpart contains a Chart control. the problem is chart control is rendered perfectly when i login as central admin. but when i login as another user with contribute permisson following problems occur. when i change webconfig as --- add key="ChartImageHandler" value="storage=file;timeout=20;dir=c:\TempImageFiles\;"--- page is not at all loaded. i get error like YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO VIEW THIS PAGE. when i change the wbconfig as --- add key="ChartImageHandler" value="storage=memory;timeout=20;URL=/_layouts/Images/MicrosoftChartControls/" --- the page loads fine but image is not rendered. A red mark appears in place of image. I tried all optins got by googling.. any more suggestions/help will be welcomed

Once i find that out i need to ONLY display the one that has the least. • Issues with format in reporting services

  In a report a have a cell that contains a System.Decimal type value. I am using the cells format property to format the value to "D2". This works in VS but not when I run the report on the report server or in my application. If I switch the format string to "0.00" then it works. The confusing part is that it seems that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Does anyone have any viable explaination for this? I'm not particularly confortable with saying "sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't"! Is this something that might happen when you have a report written in VS2005 but is running using sql server 2008. I ask because I noticed that when we run the report in our application which is using sql server 2005 it works fine but when we run it against the application where the report is VS2005 and the sql server is 2008 that is where the issue occurs. When comparing CouchDB and MySQL schemaless databases CouchDB is consuming much more drive space than MySQL. I know about that key-value DBs by default are versioning and have long uuid and need key optimalisation - the comparison was between about 15 mln rows in MySQL and 1-5 mln documents listed NoSQL DB's. My question is : Is there any NoSQL with good compaction / compression of data? So that I can have NoSQL database with a size closer to 5GB than 50GB?
