    if i have the below ip 168.144.254.X and i would like to add a ptr record in amazon in the form of X.254.144.168.in-addr.arpa what should be in the name field and what should be in the value field i have a zone created with a name like mydomain.com which host the DNS records for my ip. amazon wont let me add a value of X.254.144.168.in-addr.arpa in the name field do i need to create a new zone for the ip in order to allow this?

  • Save a view in Windows Media Player

    I like to view my library in various ways in WMP. For example, I usually search for Podcast and order the result by date added. This gives me a list of my podcasts by date order, newest to oldest. Is there a way of saving this view so that I don't have recreate it each time I open WMP? If it's not possible to do this, can anyone suggest an app that does do it, and that handles syncing as well as WMP.

About 90% of them are imported perfectly but 10% are rewritten automatically into scientific notation. How do I turn this feature of. I just want all the numbers kept in their standard form.   • How can I mount an AES-128 encrypted DMG file using the NTFS file system under Windows XP?

    I found HFSExplorer, which can handle encrypted DMG files, but it only supports HFS, and the DMG I want to open is NTFS. I can't just use any image mounter since the DMG file is encrypted, and I don't want to need to copy it over to my main hard drive first. (The DMG is on an external hard drive.) If copying it is the only way, however, I'd be willing to settle for that, but I'd rather just leave it on the external hard drive in an encrypted form.

    I have the keyword bookmark it's the same location as another one with a different keyword which works. I type google test and it takes me to http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=test, but I type g test and it takes me to the first result from I'm feeling luck as if there were no bookmark keyword there at all. Firefox 3.6 on Windows Vista.

  • How do I add a version number field to an office 2007 docx document?

    I've been having a crack at using fields in Word 2007 and have hit a slight stumbling block. I want to add a field which I can use in several parts of the document to represent the current version (something of the form v0.1 but I can't see an obvious way to do it). The only provision I've found for this is something called RevNum but that gets updated every time I save the document. Is there a field I've missed or a way of adding custom fields or something?

I managed to search the LDAP contacts from MS Outlook 2007 (with some drawbacks like Outlook cant recognize street and organization fields). My question is, is it possible ,& how, to sync data on LDAP server with applications that support LDAP? I could not find any data on this topic.

    I'm running Debian 6, Debian GNU/Linux, with Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 under Grub2 ( 1.98+20100804-14+squeeze1) on a remote system (no possibility to view the pre-boot messages). I compiled and installed a new kernel, but I can not get it to boot. What I have done: Installed the packages via: dpkg -i linux-headers-3.5.3.20120914-amd64_3.5.3.20120914-amd64-10.00.Custom_amd64.deb linux-image-3.5.3.20120914-amd64_3.5.3.20120914-amd64-10.00.Custom_amd64.deb This updated the Grub configuration.     My goal is to find all pdf files on a remote machine, so I resort to the useful command find. So I type find ~ *.pdf or find ~ "*.pdf" and I get nothing. I do the same on my machine and I get nothing. I do a regular search from the menu on my machine and I find quite a few pdf files. Would somebody please tell me what am I doing wrong?

    I'm running into a problem where a Server 2003 SP2 box has started crashing roughly once an hour, BSODing out with the message that fltmgr.sys is probably the cause. I ran dumpchk.exe on the memory.dmp file, indicating the same thing. Any thoughts on typical root causes?     I have two Google accounts. One GMail account that I use for personal stuff and one hosted domain that I use for business. My Google Profile is linked to my Gmail account - is it possible to associate it with my business account? I'm prompted to ask by the new 'Social Search' feature from Google, which while great, can only pick up contacts from one account at a time.

  • How to index filenames, size and basic informations for every file on a network?

    I have several machines, most of then are Linux and one of them is under Mac OS X. Each machine has several internal hard drives, and I also have a few external hard drives. How can I reliably find files with setup ? External drives are not always plugged, but the files don't move often. Ideally I would like to be able to search the metadata given with the 'file' command, and move files over the network.

    I am trying to find a caller id device/program that will automatically open a browser and append the incoming phone number to a url when receiving a call. For example: https://www.myphonesearchapp.com/search?q=5733655593 This would probably be a usb device that you would run a phone line through that will get caller id and allow you to set custom commands like append the number to a url and launching it in a Browser.
