  Hello! This is my first time here so I hope I post this question at the right place. :) I need to build flood control for my script but I'm not good at all this datetime to time conversions with UTC and stuff. I hope you can help me out. I'm using the Google App Engine with Python. I've got a datetimeproperty at the DataStore database which should be checked if it's older than 20 seconds, then proceed. Could anybody help me out? So in semi-psuedo: q = db.GqlQuery("SELECT * FROM Kudo WHERE fromuser = :1", user) lastplus = q.get() if lastplus.date is older than 20 seconds: print"Go!"

  Hello, i have an application where is use Qt 4.6 and Microsoft SDKs (the Psapi.Lib). I use cmake or qmake to build. For qmake and cmake i specify in hard the path of the Psapi.lib. qmake : win32 { LIBS += "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A\Lib\Psapi.Lib" } cmake : SET(PSAPI "C:/Program Files/Microsoft SDKs/Windows/v7.0A/Lib/Psapi.Lib") But i want to avoid the hard path, is there is any way to search the SDK lib ? For linux, there is no problem to search : qmake : unix { CONFIG += link_pkgconfig PKGCONFIG += xmu } cmake : IF(UNIX) INCLUDE(FindPkgConfig) PKG_CHECK_MODULES(XMU xmu REQUIRED) INCLUDE_DIRECTORIES(${XMU_INCLUDE_DIR}) LINK_DIRECTORIES(${XMU_LIBRARY_DIRS}) ENDIF() It's possible to make the same ? • UITextField with the lookup

  Hello, I would like to achive the same functinoanlity in the UUTextField control as Google search web site (which uses Ajax for this): as user start typing, list of suggestion searches is shown. Then more letteres you type, suggestion list changes. So imaging I have array of words: Apple Abc Aman As user types A, all thress suggesions are shown, if user type one more letter p, then Apple is suggested. How would I do something like this? Mail type of applicatins do it, when receipent name is typed in the To: edit control I guess I can use UITableView with the search, is it correct approach?

• Web Crawling Sites with Javascripts or web forms

  Hello everyone, I have a webcrawler application. It successfully crawled most common and simple sites. Now i ran into some types of websites wherein HTML documents are dynamically generated through FORMS or javascripts. I believe they can be crawled and I just don't know how. Now, these websites do not show the actual HTML page. I mean if I browse that page in IE or firefox, the HTML code does not match what's actually in the IE or firefox. These sites contain textboxes, checkboxes, etc... so I believe they are what they call "Web Forms". Actually I am not much familiar with web development so correct me if I'm wrong. My question is, does anyone in similar situation as I am now and have successfully solved these types of "challenges"? Does anyone know of a certain book or article regarding web crawling? Those that pertains to these advanced type of websites? Thanks.

• WPF ComboBox SelectedItem - change to previous value

  Hello, I have a ComboBox that has the SelectedItem bound to the ViewModel. <ComboBox SelectedItem="{Binding SelItem, Mode=TwoWay}" ItemsSource="{Binding MyItems}"> When the user selects a new Item in the View ComboBox, I want to display a prompt and verify that they want to make the change. In the SetItem Property setter in the View Model, I display a Dialog to confirm the selection. When they say yes, it works fine. My problem is, when the user clicks on "No" I am not sure who to get the ComboBox to revert back to the previous value. The Property in the ViewModel has the correct older value, however in the View the ComboBox displays the newly Selected Value. I want the user to select an item, confirm they want to go ahead with it, and if they decide not to, I want the ComboBox to revert back to the previous item. How can I accomplish this? Thanks!

For now, I had only done job 1... In job 2, how did I get http status from WebView ? In job 3, I'm looking about QUrl APIs now. Anyone have idea or expreience yet ?

I'm working on a project now that requires knowledge of how programmers work together on a piece of software in a company. How is the software compiled? Is it from the version control system?   Hello there, I want to open a PDF-print dialog (not regular browser dialog) without visually opening the document so that I can print a pdf without having the header and footer information from a regular webpage print. I know this is possible, because I have seen it in the past on a postal service website for printing postage labels, but cannot remember where. As far as I know, printing it from an iframe doesnt work, as it only opens regular browser print dialog and gives me ugly page and url information: frames['name'].focus(); frames['name'].print(); Thank you for your time. • Wrong assembly-references for Silverlight Sketchflow project in Blend 3

  Hello, In my installation of Blend 3, the SketchStyles are missing when a new project is created. I found out that this is because the following automatic references in the project are wrong: Microsoft.Expression.Interactions Microsoft.Expression.Prototyping.Interactivity Microsoft.Expression.Prototyping.RunTime Microsoft.Expression.Prototyping.SketchControls In the project references these all point to my project path (where they don't live). If I remove them manually, and instead set the references to ie this: "c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Expression\Blend 3\Interactivity\Libraries\Silverlight\Microsoft.Expression.Interactions.dll" everything works. Any ideas on why, and how to fix this? Could it be the project template somehow? TIA

  Hello I have a rails application where I have to subtract 2 time stamps and display the result on the webpage I have used the following sql statement and I am getting the results. select (julianday(resolutions.created_at)-julianday(tickets.created_at))*24 from tickets,resolutions the value of tickets.created_at is 2010-04-05 18:59:02 which is a time stamp and value of resolutions.created_at is 2010-04-08 08:10:33 Now where do I put this sql so that I can be seen in my webpage. I tired it in the views page with the following but nothing showed up: <% @sql = "select (julianday(resolutions.created_at)-julianday(tickets.created_at))*24 from tickets,resolutions" %> <% @t=(ActiveRecord::Base.connection.execute(@sql)) %> So how do I display it on my webpage? when I perform the above I get the output printed on the webpage as 061.1919444389641(julianday(resolutions.created_at)-julianday(tickets.created_at))*2461.1919444389641 only 61.1919444389641 is supposed to be printed but the query statement is also getting printed.

  Hello i have a problem, im trying to open a textfile and remove all the special chars ñ Ñ ' á í etc... the file its a Layout that the clients send to me and i parse it to send the file to an AS400 server but i have to remove all special chars. THE PROBLES IS: some files with some special chars when i open it in c# it read the special chars and Two different chars and move the entire line one space to the right and then the information that has to be in that position wont be OK. i take the same file and open it in Notepad and the file is OK but when i open it in WordPad it looks like 2 chars (for just 1 especial char) Example: in the file i have: "0001 0003JUAN PEÑA33441JPENATEST" But in c# it shows "0001 0003JUAN PEï¦A33441JPENATEST" im using the encondig 1251 any help?

• Inverted index in a search engine

  Hello there, I'm trying to write some code to make a small application for searching text from files. Files should be crawled, and I need to put an inverted index to boost searches. My problem is that I kind of have ideas about how the parser would be, I'm willing to implement the AND, NOT, OR in the query. Whereas, I couldn't figure out how my index should be... I have never created an inverted index so if any body could suggest a feasable way to do it I would be very grateful... I do know in theory how it works but my problem is I absolutely have no idea to make happen in MySql I need to give keywords being indexed a weight too... Thank you so much.

  This is my first post, so let me start by saying HELLO! I am writing a windows service to monitor the running state of a number of other windows services on the same server. I'd like to extend the application to also print some of the memory statistics of the services, but I'm having trouble working out how to map from a particular ServiceController object to its associated Diagnostics.Process object, which I think I need to determine the memory state. I found out how to map from a ServiceController to the original image name, but a number of the services I am monitoring are started from the same image, so this won't be enough to determine the Process. Does anyone know how to get a Process object from a given ServiceController? Perhaps by determining the PID of a service? Or else does anyone have another workaround for this problem?   Let's say I have the following code: IBOutlet UITextField* nameTextField; IBOutlet UILabel* greetingLabel; I'd like the greetingLabel to read "Hello [nameTextField]" as soon as the user presses any key. What I need basically is the iPhone equivalent of the Cocoa delegate method -controlTextDidChange: The -textField:shouldChangeCharactersInRange: delegate method is called each time a keystroke occurs: - (BOOL) textField:(UITextField *)textField shouldChangeCharactersInRange:(NSRange)range replacementString:(NSString *)string The string argument returns the character that is pressed. The actual textField's value (nameTextField.text) remains blank however. What am I missing here? (I'd like nameTextField to reflect the exact string that the user has entered so far)

  hello, searching a photo by dominant colors using mysql is quite simple. assuming that the r,g,b values of the most dominant colors of the photo is already stored in the database, this could be achieved for example by something like: SELECT * FROM colors WHERE ABS(dominant_r - :r) < :threshold AND ABS(dominant_g - :g) < :threshold AND ABS(dominant_b - :b) < :threshold i wonder, if it's anyhow possible to store the colors in sphinx and perform the querying using the sphinx search engine? thanks!

  Hello everyone. I am trying to start a new project (asp.net MVC) and I would like to apply some DDD rules I've learned in these last few months. I don't know how to organize my solution though. I would like to use Nhibernate but I don't want to use Fluent Nhibernate cause it must be something like an experiment. I've seen some examples where people keep everything in the same project. Some others tend to create a different project for everything. Do you think I should differentiate the model and the repository or put it in the same project? • Objective-C : Member variable is losing reference between method calls.

  Hello, I've been having with an objective-c class which appears to be losing its pointer reference between methods of the same class. In the MyTableViewController.h file, I declare: @interface SettingsTableViewController : UITableViewController <UITextFieldDelegate>{ OCRAppDelegate *delegate; } MyTableViewController.m file - (id) init { self = [ super initWithStyle: UITableViewStyleGrouped ]; delegate = [(OCRAppDelegate *)[[UIApplication sharedApplication] delegate] retain]; } The problem is when the "MyTableViewController" view appears again and a different method is executed within that same class, the delegate pointer (which was assigned during the init method) is no longer there. I tried to retain, but to no avail. Would anyone know why this is, it seems like perhaps it is a fundamental Objective-C issue which I am missing. Appreciate your help. Thanks, Winston
