  • Soap client call has slow performance

    OS is Centos 6.2 with PHP 5.3.15. We have a Facebook application that is using PHP soap web services. We sometimes experince slow preformance when connecting to these services, but we cant understand what exacly is causing the problem. We've try to analyse the behavior using the profiling tool Kcachgrind. Here is a call graph from the index.php page that took 21 seconds to load. You can clearly see that calling the soap client is the bottle neck. I've also noticed that exactly before the page finishes to load, this file is being created in our serve's /tmp folder: wsdl-apache-d1032d85dfd16c0d91a6b70facc70e43 These are the permission of /tmp drwxrwxrwt 6 root root 40960 Aug 30 10:39 tmp I know its not the most specific question, but if any one had similar performance issues with soap client, We would love some ideas about what can cause this kind of performance problem, what can we do to investigate more accurately or how to overcome the problem ?   • Xamarin bundle ID not matching provisioning Profile

    I changed my provision profile 'application name' and 'bundle id' and now my xamarin no longer builds successfully and comes back with this message: Project bundle ID '' does not match specified provisioning profile '15729097-407D-4744-9378-53905C00E62B' Build: 1 error, 0 warnings Where is that profile guid stored? I have looked in the info.plist file and there is no mentioning of it. I hav tried cleaning the build and the solution multiple times and restarting of machine. I think if I know where that id is stored, it can give me insights on how to fix it. Your help is appreciated.

    I'm trying to implement a ping to an xmlrpc server written in PHP under CodeIgniter. The system currently works as expected when receiving pings from WordPress-based blogs, but I'm unable to generate a successful ping from Rails.     Hi guys, I have a freelance job for a php site. The client isn't a tech savy guy he says he would like to have internet radio on his website as well. Now the thing is that when we speak of internet radio what are we actually talking about? My client himself has no idea of what internet radio is aside form listening to streaming mp3s on a flash player embedded on a website. I don't think my client would be ready to set up a radio station or so.. I have to give my client a report on what can and cannot be done. So I'm looking for the simplest solution possible that would pass off as internet radio...

    Hi there, I've got a 32 bit application that connects normally to a DB2 database. (written in C) When I run it on a machine with a DB2 64 bit client, I get a SQLCODE -1390 from connect. (Win7 64 Bit, DB2 V9.7 client 64 bit) Connecting from the command line works (db2 connect to ...) With a 32 Bit DB2 client on the same Win7 64 Bit machine, the connect also works.     Hi all, I'm having a problem with a WCF Service and Java Client, I will try to give as much information as i can, thanks for your time. The Endpoint of the server is BasicHttpBinding, I tried hosting the server as a Windows Service and in IIS but nothing changed. The weird thing is that the Client works great if I use a simple class, in the moment I switch the class to an JApplet I get the problem mentioned. I'm using Eclipse as an IDE, I tried Axis and Metro to generate the stub with the same bad results.   • TCP packets larger than 4 KB don't get a reply from Linux

    I'm running Linux 3.2.51 in a virtual machine (192.168.33.15). I'm sending Ethernet frames to it. I'm writing custom software trying to emulate a TCP peer, the other peer is Linux running in the virtual machine guest. I've noticed that TCP packets larger than about 4 KB are ignored (i.e. dropped without an ACK) by the Linux guest. If I decrease the packet size by 50 bytes, I get an ACK. I'm not sending new payload data until the Linux guest fully ACKs the previous one. I've increased ifconfig eth0 mtu 51000, and ping -c 1 -s 50000 goes through (from guest to my emulator) and the Linux guest gets a reply of the same size. I've also increased sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_rmem='70000 87380 87380 and tried with sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_mtu_probing=1 (and also =0). There is no IPv3 packet fragmentation, all packets have the DF flag set. It works the other way round: the Linux guest can send TCP packets of 6900 bytes of payload and my emulator understands them. This is very strange to me, because only TCP packets seem to be affected (large ICMP packets go through). Any idea what can be imposing this limit? Any idea how to do debug it in the Linux kernel? See the tcpdump -n -vv output below. tcpdump was run on the Linux guest.     i have my first aspx page that has data thatthe user fills in. it is in format of textbox's and at the end of it all the user clicks submit and all data goes in the database. In the database each record gets an ID field. Now when the users clicks submit and goes to the next page, i want the ID's (they could be 1 to 1000+) from the DB that he just inserted and have them available on the second page. how can i take all the id's from page 1 to page 2? can i do it in session? or something else. Please put some sample code so i can understand better.

    I am trying to access a WCF web service, that is using two way SSL encryption. When I try to call the service I get a System.ServiceModel.Security.SecurityNegotiationException: Could not establish secure channel for SSL/TLS with authority 'XXX.xx'. --- System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel. I have tried activating wire shark, to see what is sent to and from the server: I see a client hello and a server hello. But there is no client response to the server hello. I was expecting a "Certificate. Client key exchange. Change cipher. Encrypted handshake Message" package, but none is sent. I'm thinking it is a problem with the certificate sent by the server, that somehow my client server does not trusy it. Here is what I have already tried: I have created the certificate, through the proper authority, though I could have made a mistake in the certificate request without knowing it. I have added the two root certificates to: trusted root certificates, trusted publishers and trusted people. I have also added the client certificate to trusted people. My colleague has succeded in establishing connection on a win 2008 server (i'm using a 2003, because it is necessary for some odd reason - don't ask). I can't see any differences in our approach, so i'm a bit lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I have downloaded & installed the OPCDA.NET client component evaluation & XMLDA.NET client component evaluation. It provides some C# samples for browsing the available OPC Server, connecting to the OPC server, & browsing the available items on the server. I know the programatic way in which we can access the local OPC server. It is provided in the sample C# applications. I have installed the OPC server on another machine ( remote machine ). I have done all the required setting related to the 'dcomcnfg' utility. I can access the remote OPC server from client machine by using the Test Client provided by the OPCDA.NET client component evaluation & XMLDA.NET client component evaluation. But I am unaware of how this can be done programmatically. In the available C# samples I found no such programatic part (coding ) in which we can access the remote OPC server. Can you provide me the code through which I can browse the available remote machines in my network, available OPC server on each machine after selecting the specific machine name, connecting to the OPC server & browsing the available items on the server ? or Can you provide me the any link through which I can resolve the above issue ?

  • jQuery.load() Retrieving partial page content causes duplicate ID in DOM

    Hello all, I currently have a JS function that allows me to load partial content from another page into the current page using jQuery.load() However I noticed when using this that I get a duplicate ID in the DOM (when inspecting with FireBug) This function is used in conjuction with a Flash Building viewe so it does not contain any code to retrieve the URL from the anchor tag. function displayApartment(apartmentID) { $("#apartmentInfo").load(siteURL + apartmentID + ".aspx #apartmentInfo", function () { //re-do links loaded in $("a.gallery").colorbox({ opacity: "0.5" }); }); } The code above works just fine in retrieving the content, however it just bugs me that when inspecting with firebug I get something like this. <div id="apartmentInfo"> <div id="apartmentInfo"> <!-- Remote HTML here..... --> </div> </div> Can anyone please suggest anything on how to remove the duplicate div?     I'm inserting a record using PDO (very similar to mysqli). $addRecord->execute(); To know if the operation worked, I've learned that I can save it to a variable $result that can be used as true false $result = $addRecord->execute(); if ($result){ //add successful } else { //add unsuccessful } What I'd like to do is also get the record id just added. In the table, each record has an auto_incremented field called id. I tried doing this $new_id = $result['id']; but it seems that $result is purely boolean and doesn't actually hold the actual record that was added. Can someone confirm this and how would I then access the record just added? Note that several people may be adding to the same table at the same time, so I think getting just the last one would not be very accurate.

    Hi, I have a problem with what solution to choose.. I have a server running having a Service running that can receive orders from a website. To this server several client (remote computers) are connected somehow. I would really like to use WCF for all comunication, but not sure it's possible. I dont wanna configure all client firewall settings in their routers, so the clients would have to connect to the server. But when an order is recieved on the server, it should be transferred to a specific client. One solution could be to have the Client connect using a duplex binding, but it will have to somehow keep the connection alive in order to be able to received data from server... Is this a good way to do this ?? Normally the connection times out and probably for a good reason... Anyone have insight to this problem. Thx alot for any advise :-) Best Regards Søren Müller

Everything working fine, but If another (the same .exe on the same machine) Client want to access the Service.     Hi, I'm trying to build a web service and a client for this service. I'm using Eclipse 3.5.1 with axis2-1.4.1. I'm facing a problem: I created the web service via the web service wizard and the service shows up in the axis service list. If I porint to the wsdl - its generated. Now when I'm trying to build the client, I choose the wsdl, the client project and take the next button, well at the client web service configuration everything is empty. There is nor service name, no port name. Am I facing a bug? Anyoneelse faced something like this? Regards
