    Hi All, i need an equivalent or an alternative for this code in internet explorer using the filter method background: -moz-linear-gradient(center bottom , rgb(132, 133, 132) 0%, rgb(35, 35, 35) 49%, rgb(104, 104, 104) 100%) repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent; the most important thing in the code is the points ( 0% - 49% - 100% ) i believe that the filter method doesn't have points and doesn't accpect more than two parms for the colors , Is there a way to do it in filter or a javascript script for that ?   • css - 2 child containers not sitting alongside each other

    I have a parent container, that has child containers within it. 2 child containers take up 60% width and 40% width respectively. They have no margin, and they have padding, but use box-sizing so this is included in the width. But for some reason they don't sit side by side. If I change one of them to 39% width then it looks fine. What am I doing wrong? Example can be seen at http://jsfiddle.net/Rcaet/

    I list products on my homepage and on a company details page. I use the exact same HTML, but for some reason the product appears different: The productname is "Artikel 1". Here the product is displayed correctly: http://www.zorgbeurs.nl/ Notice how the green price area is right below the product. But here: http://www.zorgbeurs.nl/bedrijven/76/mymedical the green price area is all the way at the bottom of the page. Why?

The label have number of characters so I can't set a fixed width on the label.     I need a function to change the appearance of some elements in my html page "on the fly", but I am not able to do. The problem is that I cannot use a command like document.write ('body {background-color: #cccccc;}'); because I need to make the changes effective when the page is already loaded, using a link like <a onmouseclick="Clicker(1)" href="#">clic</a> and I cannot use a command like document.body.style.background='#cccccc'; because I do not know if it can be applied to other not so easy cases, because I need to change the appearance of elements such as td.myclass or sibling elements such as th[scope=col]+th[scope=col]+th[scope=col]. How can I do it? Thanks!

When dealing with a website with multiple types of font (here it's large, there it's small, there it's bold, here it's underlined, etc.) is this where we use the h1-h6, or do we reserve those for times when there is a definite hierarchy, using instead <p class="xxx"> to define different classes for text?

This isnt the first time i heard a table can do it but i tried without luck. Searching SO only got me results when i do know the size of the image. How do i do this with a table?     Hi guys, i've seen websites that allow you to say update your profile and when the stuff is done, they'll stay in the same page or redirect you to another and with a fancy notice that says "Update successful. click here to close" with a lowered opacity black background and a box in the middle with the text within. I've got most of the stuff, the lowred opacity black background, the middle box with the text and even the click here to close function. But how i did the "Click here to close" function is by using a link. Let's say after updating the profile, my script redirect me to index.php?update=successful then i use $update = $_GET['update']; if ($update == "successful") { echo '<div id="BlackScreen"><p id="MiddleBox">You\'ve successfully update your status!<br><span class="close"><a class="menu" href="index.php">Click to close. </a></span></div></div>'; } so that the lowered opacity background div will be gone, but is there another way to do this? Any tips please?
