    I am looking to use ogg vorbis, instead of mp3s to stream audio. It seems that Flash player does not natively support ogg. Is there a codec engine that can be embedded with the app itself that can play .ogg instead of .mp3? In general, what would be a better format than mp3 for streaming audio and that is supported by Flash?

  • The iPhone “phone” doesn’t have the provisioning profile with which the application was signed.

    i have tried everything to fix this provision problem and nothing is working. ive reformated my mac, reinstalled the iphone, ive also dragged the provisions (developer and distribution) onto the organizer, itunes, and xcode. in itunes people say to drag the provisions to the iphone icon but that doesnt work its only able to go under library it shows a blue rectangle for me to drop it there. i just have a newly created dummy app with a 57x57 icon. ive also setup the project with the distribution thing with its distribution provision. when i build i get this: The iPhone “myphone” doesn’t have the provisioning profile with which the application was signed. Click “Install and Run” to install the provisioning profile “distribution” on “myphone” and continue running “helloworld.app”. and it has a button "install and run" ive clicked on that hundreths of times and nothing. in orgranizer i see a tab called console ive cleared it and rebuild the app and there is some output that i dont understand. I'm thinking its my problem whats it mean?   • Run SQL scripts on windows mobile installer

    Hi, We are working on a Windows Mobile 6.5 application. The application is already installed in some devices, and we need to distribute a new version with changes in the database schema (we added a few tables). Is there a way to make a "patch" windows mobile installer that will replace the application and update the embedded SQL database with some scripts? In a normal windows installer we would create a custom action in the installation process to apply the changes in the database, but I'm not sure how to do that for Windows Mobile Thanks.

So question is: Are there any Visual Studio addins availible that can take selected json-text in the editor, and visualize it (and maybe even allow for editing)? if not, if I must build it - are there any good starting points or samples availible?     Hi guys, My application tester has a problem while importing .mobileprovision file into iTunes. As I don't have the device I'm not able to check things out, here is the error message: The provisioning profile "embedded.mobileprovision" could not be imported because an unknown error occurred (0xE800801A). Now the opposite is quite simple as you only need to call parent.functionName() but unfortunately I need exactly the opposite of that. Please note that my problem is not changing the source url of the iframe, but invoking function defined in the iframe.

    Hi, Senario: Masterpage with a UserControl and a child ASPX page In the past when using this senario I've used an Interface as a way to pass a value from the UserControl (embedded in a master page) to the masterpage code behind then consume that value in the child aspx page. My question is now that asp.net 4 have arrived is this still a good way to achieve this or is there another or perhaps better way to do it?     Hi all: I've noticed that there are a couple of similar questions and answers at SO already, but let me clarify my specific question here first: I've got lecture slides which states like this: To be frank, I haven't heard of this rule of css precedence myself, and I googled to find something with similar topic but not quite like that : here To have a test myself, I've made a test page on my own server here After running it on FireFox 3.6.3, I am sure it does not show the way as it should be, according to the statement in lecture slides: imported stylesheet ? am I doing it wrong? I cannot see its effect using FireBug it says that embedded stylesheet has a higher precedence over linked/imported stylesheets, however, it doesn't work, if I put the linked/imported tag AFTER that. inline style vs html attributes ? I've got an image where I firstly set its inline style to control the width and height, then use direct html attributes width/height to try modifying that, but failed...     What serial communication bus would you use in a automotive embedded system if your main selection criteria were: * Electrically robust * Slow speed (32 kb/s) * Easy to program * Easy to interface with microcontrollers It won't be transferring much data, but it will need to be transferred periodically at high speed (100 - 500 Hz). I find that RS-232 is just not reliable enough if you have noise in your ground line. CAN-bus seems interesting, but I have no experience with it. We are currently interested in a combination of AVR AT90CAN128 microcontrollers.

    Background: I have been attempting to read the rating that is assigned in Adobe Bridge CS3 using the creative commons Metadata toolkit for php without success. I am using shared hosting so I do not have an oppotunity to recompile php with different modules. Is php code available that could be used to read the rating that is embedded in the .jpg file? I have read that this is an xmp (xml) formatted section within the file.

    In the past week it appears that Yahoo has changed their crossdomain file to only accept Yahoo domains (http://maps.yahooapis.com/crossdomain.xml): This is causing my applications that use Yahoo Maps to stop working (i.e. security exception). I cannot proxy the calls to Yahoo because the URL is embedded in the MXP file that Yahoo distributes. Does anyone know if there's a workaround or update to this?

An example of the IFrame is: <IFRAME src="myURL" width=300" height="300">Browser not compatible. </IFRAME> I would like the transition from the content on my page to the contents of the IFrame to be seemless, assuming the background colors are consistent. The target browser is IE6 only and unfortunately solutions for others will not help.

  • Flash causing crash in embeded browser

    For my work project we recently switched from visual studio 2008 to 2010 and we use an embedded instance of firefox to render webpages. The only problem we are having is that flash seems to crash the application. It seems that instead of linking dynamically to the runtime it needs its using the new 2010 one and is having issue with new and delete. Any ideas on how to fix instead of switching back to 2008?

On a theoretical level, I'm interested to know what other languages or technologies could be used to build an entire site without using a single HTML tag or CSS style for styling/positioning? Could a website be made only using XML or PHP alone, including actual styling and positioning? Presumably Flash sites are till embedded in HTML tags? Thanks
