• MS SQL Index Scripting

  I'm using MS SQL 2008. Is it possible to create a script to loop over all tables in a database generating a set of index drop scripts and create scripts separately? What I have to do is drop all indexes on a set of databases to run a heavy data load process but then I want to re-enable all the indexes. I don't want to have to go through each table and script an index drop and then index create. Thanks!

  Hi All, I need to read a PNG file and interpret all the information stored in it and print it in human readable format. While working on PNG, i understood that it uses CRC-32 for generating checksum for each chunk. But I could not understand the following information mentioned on the PNG file specification site: The polynomial used by PNG is: x32 + x26 + x23 + x22 + x16 + x12 + x11 + x10 + x8 + x7 + x5 + x4 + x2 + x + 1 Here is the link for reference: http://www.w3.org/TR/PNG/ Can anyone please help me in understanding this? • Cache SHA1 digest result?

  I'm storing several versions of a file based on a digest of the original filename and its version, like this: $filename = sha1($original . ':' . $version); Would it be worth it to cache the digest ($filename) in memcache as a key/value pair (the key being the original + version and value the sha1 hash), or is generating the digest quick enough (for a high traffic php web app)? A parser generator (which actually doesn't have to be that complete or efficient) is thus needed. http://antlr.org/ is a nice parser generator that already has a number of grammars for popular languages. Are there better alternatives i.e. simpler ones that support generating parsers for even more languages out-of-the-box?

  I'm looking for a server app to be routinely generating certificates for client applications using self-signed root. Is there any streamlined process in .NET to programmatically generate those certificates? I can, of course, keep spawning makecert or openssl, but I was looking for more programmatic, in-memory method, when you just get X509Certificate on output. If someone got a code snippet, can you please share?

Or even find out which file is generating the variable that's passed in.   I am generating a csv download from my web server and to be safe, I have enclosed each field with double quotes. i.e. "Field1","Field2","Field3","Field4" "row1_field1","row1_field2","row1_field3","row1_field4" "row2_field1","row2_field2","row2_field3","row2_field4" The problem is that when the file is opened in Excel, it does not strip all quotes... Therefore, some fields are appearing as: row1_field1 whereas others are appearing as "row1_field2" What am I not doing to ensure that excel strips all surrounding quotes?

  Does anybody know of any examples using AudioQueue that play from an in-memory source? All the examples I can find play from files (using AudioFileReadPackets) but in my particular case I am generating the data myself in realtime so ideally, I want to enqueue the data myself rather than sucking it out of a file using the callback. So I'm curious if I should save the PDF into JPG's and render them out with the data on top of the image and re-create a PDF.
