  • WordPress-based ticketing systems?

    I have been asked to set up a ticketing/help desk system for a small nonprofit. Our server runs Debian GNU/Linux. Because we already have WordPress installed and plan to exploit it heavily going forward, I'm wondering whether there are any WP-based ticketing systems. Obviously, it will simplify the admin's life to have less software installed on the server. Thanks.

  • My internet speed became slow at night

    My internet plan is 512kbps unlimited and I get speed of average 64kbps but at night I used to get speed of 112kbps ..but recently my speed got normal like day time ...as per my view usually at night their is less traffic so I should get good speed like before ... Due to good speed I download and upload at night and my average download+upload per month is 60gb or 70gb... Is it that my ISP people putting restriction on my download and uploads.. I am confused.

I plan to use this for backing up my work movies, music etc Do I need to spend the money on RAID Level drives? Or am I safe with standard hard drives? a 2TB Hitatchi 7200 is like $89 at NewEgg where a Samsung F1 RAID 1tb is $150.00 Thoughts?

    Hello, Is it possible to buy an HTC EVO 4G (preferably), or the Droid Incredible (second choice) from a vendor whereby the phone is unlocked without a cellular plan? Some times these updates requires a restart of the system, and this string is shown in motd: *** System restart required *** To get a notice about these, I plan to write a Nagios test to monitor if the server is in need of a reboot. So, my question: Is there a better way than parsing /etc/motd to find out if a reboot is needed?

    I am currently using sccm 2007 for our software deployment and PXE. During this summer I have been tasked with upgrading 2000+ machines from Windows XP to Windows 7. It would need further functionality that a browser alone does not have (just zoom in/out the entire image won't do the trick).     If I throw my MySQL/PHP app up on a Amazon EC2 instance (using their AWS Free Usage Tier program) and couple it with CloudFlare (the free plan of course) roughly how many daily visitors can I comfortably handle before performance starts to suffer?   • Running Virtualbox as a Transparent Bridge

    I am setting up Untangle in a Sun VirtualBox VM. I plan on using this machine as a transparent bridge to filter and monitor traffic on my network. I'm not sure how to configure the network adapters for the virtual machine under the Virtualbox's "Devices" menu so that it will function as a transparent bridge. I guess what I'm asking is, should both adapter 1 & 2 be set as Bridged adapters or what? Any help is greatly appreciated.
