  • Visual Studio support for coding directly in *IL?

    For the longest time I've been curious to code in Intermediate Language just as an academic endeavour and to gain a better understanding of what's "happening under the hood". Does anybody provide Visual Studio support for *IL in the form of: project templates, IntelliSense integration, and those kind of RAD features? Edits: I don't mean restricted to out of the box support. For example, I can download Visual Studio extensions to support Python, COBOL, etc. Want the same for *IL. There is a stand-alone Intermediate Assembler tool.

  • .NET Settings File Available Types

    When modifying a .NET settings file, I'm given a choice of types for a setting. However, not all of the types accessible by my project appear, even in the 'Browse' window. What determines if a type can be used for a setting file setting? I have a type I created that I would like to be able to save, and I want to know what I need to change about it to use it in a settings file. (VS 2008 - .Net 3.5)

    Can I use Selenium IDE on a Drupal system? I found http://drupal.org/project/selenium but that involves downloading Core and not using my current machine. Does anybody know of a way to use the IDE with Drupal, or if not what do you suggest I do?

    I'm working on a project in Unity3D with Javascript, and I'm trying to implement the SmartFoxServer API (http://smartfoxserver.com) in Javascript instead of their example C# code. I've gotten most of it converted correctly, but I am still getting an error at runtime with the following line involving delegation to a C# file that is in the API (SFSEvent.cs). C# original: SFSEvent.onConnection += HandleConnection; Javascript (or whatever I've turned it into): SFSEvent.onConnection = Delegate.Combine(HandleConnection); Error: InvalidCastException: Cannot cast from source type to destination type.

  • Problem running a simple EJB application

    I am currently running a simple EJB application using a stateless Session Bean. I am working on NetBeans 6.8 with Personal Glassfish 3.0 and I have installed on my system both the Java EE and the Java SE. I don't know whether it is relevent but I am running Windows7 64-bit version. The Session Bean I implemented has just one method sayHello(); which just prints hello on the screen.     Hello, How can I do this in Moq? Foo bar = new Foo(); Fake(bar.PrivateGetter).Return('whatever value') It seems I can only find how to mock an object that was created via the framework. I want to mock just a single method/property on a concrete object I've created... In TypeMock, I would just do Isolate.WhenCalled(bar.PrivateGetter).Returns('whatever value').. Any ideas?

  • DirectX Sphere Texture Coordinates

    I have a sphere with per-vertex normals and I'm trying to derive the texture coordinates for the object using the algorithm: U = Asin(Norm.X) / PI + 0.5 V = Asin(Norm.Y) / PI + 0.5 With a polka dot texture, I get: Here's the same object without the texture applied: The issue I'm particuarly looking at (I know there's a few) is the misalignment of the textures. I am inclined to believe the issue resides in my use of those algorithms, as the specular highlighting (which doesn't utilise any textures but does rely on the normals being correct) appears to have no artifacts. Any ideas?

    I have a .ddb file that is used as a telephone directory for an application written in flash/VB.net (i guess). The problem is that the application is crashing and my only was to access the application is through the mysterious (*.ddb) file (99% of the application size.) The application contains an also mysterious dll (NK_SQLite.dll). So far I have tried: SQLite Browser tried opening the file in PL/SQL tried opening the file in SQL Server Any ideas about how to solve this issue,

  • Are there any Rails Plugins that use JS to poll the server for completion of a background process?

    I know it might be simple to write some polling JS that asks the Rails application if it has completed a background job. But I wonder if anyone has already packaged up this functionality as a plugin. Basically, I have a few delayed_jobs running, and am looking for a plugin that will poll the server for completion of a particular job, then activate a callback when it finds that the job is complete.   • asp:Login control, remember me is not remembering me

    Hi all, I have an ASP.NET login control on a page, with the "Remember Me" checkbox displayed. I have checked in trace and the authentication cookie is being created, I have sliding expiration set and a timeout of 60000, yet when I return to the website the login is not being remembered.
