    Hi everyone, I am trying to find good resources on best practices to data replication across memcache servers. What I want to accomplish is that if one of my servers in my pool goes down, the next server in line already has the info set. I have found "repcached" but since I run a WIN32 test environment, I have been unable to install it. So what's our alternatives on how to replicate data between servers? Thanks,

    I writing REST API form my web application. Application is written using CodeIgniter framework. Application itself is working fine, but I'm stuck on making REST Authentication. I think that basic Http Authentication will be good enough for some time. Public API is not yet planned. Is there any code example how to achieve REST Authentication so after user is authenticated he can freely call all protected methods.

  • how to read only english characters

    I am reading a file that sometimes has chinese and characters of languages other than english. How can I write a regex that only reads english words/letters? should it just be /^[a-zA-Z]+/ ? If I do the above then words like eété will still be picked but I don't want them to be picked: "été".match(/^[a-zA-Z]+/) => #nil good I didnt want that word "eété".match(/^[a-zA-Z]+/) => #not nil tricked into picking something i did not want

    It looks easy, but I found the implementation tricky. I need that for a simple genetic programming problem I'm trying to implement. The function should, given a node, return the node itself or any of its children such that the probability of choosing a node is normally distributed relative to its depth (so the function should return mostly middle nodes, but sometimes the root itself or the lowest ones - but that's not really necessary if that makes it significantly more complex, if all any node is chosen with equal probability, that's good enough).     I ask this question, since I am trying to get the images I have just copied from Domain A to work in Domain B, (which is using the same database). http://DOMAIN_A/magento/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/b/0/b0041-1.jpg I think knowing what the 32 character string is, which help me find a good explanation why the images are not being found in the front or backend of Magento after reinstall on DOMAIN B.
