  We just got in a pair of Force10 S4810s and are getting tripped up on what should be a very basic configuration step. The S4810 has a gigabit copper management port (though ultimately we'd like to not use that and just trunk in a management vlan). We followed the configuration commands verbatim from a rapid config guide and keep getting a weird error. As soon as I drop in the code without even referring to it from my code, when I hit Build, my Objective-C code cannot find the methods of the cpp file. All the class files compile, but in the linking stage it says something like: "_SoundEngine_SetDisabled", referenced from: someClass.o Note that it is adding an underscore in front of the methods when it's reporting these linking errors. P.S. I know that for OpenFeint first thing one should do is convert the files to .mm but if possible I don't want to go down that road at this stage of development. I was going to try create a wrapper Objective-C++ class for it. I read someone managed to do that.

Now its the time to start the file downloads. Here is what I need, a logged in user search and browse for Images and they should able to add the files in to a download basket (Let's say its a Download Shopping Cart). Finally the user should be able to download these file(s) from S3 probably as a zipped file. Is there any plugin/gem where I can use for this?

• Error adding certificate to cacerts. Unknown key spec

  I am using jdk 1.6 in Windows. I have a .der file (DER Encoded X509 Certificate) that will like to add to my cacerts file... so I tried the following: keytool -import -keystore "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_27\jre\lib\security\cacerts" -trustcacerts -alias openldap -file "C:\cacert.der" I got the following error: java.security.cert.CertificateParsingException: java.io.IOException: subject key, java.security.spec.InvalidKeySpecException: Unknown key spec At first, I thoght it was a problemen with the der certificate, but then doing the following I got exactly the same error: keytool -list -keystore "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_27\jre\lib\security\cacerts" Any ideas why is this problem appearing?   I'm using VS2010 RC while targeting .NET 3.5. I can run code analysis via Visual Studio without a problem. However, when I try to run code analysis on our CI server it isn't getting executed. • Telerik RadWindow does not fire ClientCallBackFunction after a ajax an __DoPostBack

  HI, I have a Telerik radwindow that allows our users to upload files. When the user first opens the radwindow and sees the upload fields, they can happily select a file and upload it. The window then returns the id of the uploaded file back to the parent page via the ClientCallBackFunction. This function then passes in the ID to a javascript function that calls __DoPostback so that we can populate the list of uploaded files. First time around it works a treat. However all subsequent times it fails to call ClientCallBackFunction unless i refresh the entire page. I also note that any other control on the parent page to uses an ajax postback also stops the ClientCallBackFunction begin called, even on the first time. any ideas? Thanks Richard

• How do I use a relative path in XDocument.Load?

  I have an XML file named PageData.xml in my App_Data folder. I want to populate an XDocument with this file using XDocument.Load. If I supply the full physical path it works, i.e.: XDocument vXDoc = XDocument.Load("/Work/Project/Web/100413 Dev/App_Data/PageData.xml"); ...where "Work" is a folder on my C: drive. If I try a relative path like this, though, I get a DirectoryNotFoundException: XDocument vXDoc = XDocument.Load("AppData/PageData.xml"); "Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DevServer\10.0\AppData\PageData.xml'." This is obviously wrong, but there must be an easy way to set the correct relative path? What am I overlooking? Your help is appreciated.

I have followed the steps in this guide, but it fails in the middle of Step 4 with SHOW MASTER STATUS; It simply returns an empty set. I get the same 3 errors in both servers' logs.   I'm trying to build an application using the Canon EDSDK 2.8. I created a new Cocoa Application project in Xcode, and imported the headers and framework files. When I try to build and run (without writing any code), I get two warnings that say the frameworks are missing x86_64 architecture files. If I try and import the "EDSDK.h" header file, I end up with about 100 miscellaneous errors. I've tried changing the architecture to i386, however when I try and build and run, I get a debugger error that says "Cannot access memory at address 0x0". The odd thing is that I can get the example applications bundled with the SDK to compile and run without issues, Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

  I just installed the POCO Template for EF4. I have a single entity in my model, AnnouncementText, and the T4 files seem to be properly generated. Attempting to access this new entity is throwing the following error when I access the auto-generated property MyObjectContext.AnnouncementTexts: InvalidOperationException: Mapping and metadata information could not be found for EntityType 'MyNamespace.AnnouncementText'. The properties on the AnnouncementText POCO seem to match up with the columns in the database, and I haven't changed any of the auto-generated code. error at build time, and a day of google searching has turned up other instances of this error caused by different triggers, and solutions for those propblems didn't work for me. I also found a single report on the Oracle forums that seemed to be a carbon copy of this issue, but there were no replies. The application is written in Weblogic Workshop 10, runs on Weblogic Server 10.3, and uses Beehive / NetUI. Not sure if that would make a difference or not though. The build scripts were automatically generated by Weblogic Workshop, with some tweaks and fixes made to other aspects of the files by myself to fix other compatability issues. I am using Java 1.6.0_23 from Sun, and Ant 1.8.1 Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

• Mixing Silverlight-Specific System.Xml.Linq dll with Non-Silverlight System.Xml.Linq dll

  I have a Logic layer that references Silverlight's System.Xml.Linq dll and a GUI that is in WPF (hence using the non-Silverlight System.Xml.Linq dll). When I attempt to pass an XElement from GUI project to a method in the Logic project, I am getting (basically) "XElement is not of type XElement" errors. To complicate matter, I am unable to edit the Logic layer project. The Non-Silverlight DLL is at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Reference Assemblies\Microsoft\Framework\v3.5\System.Xml.Linq.dll THe Silverlight DLL is at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Silverlight\v3.0\Libraries\Client\System.Xml.Linq.dll I am new to C# but I'm fairly sure my issue is that I am referencing different DLL's to access the System.Xml.Linq namespace. I attempted to replace my non-Silverlight System.Xml.Linq.dll with the Silverlight's System.Xml.Linq.dll, but received assembly errors. Is there any way to resolve this short of scrapping my WPF GUI project and creating a Silverlight project?
