    So I am trying to read an XML file into a string in Perl and send it as part of a SOAP message. I know this is not ideal as there are methods for SOAP sending files, however, I am limited to having to use the SOAP that is set up, and it is not set up for sending with file support. Therefore I need to parse out the markup tags < and replace them with []. What is the best way to do this?

    Hi Guys, I'm looking to construct a script that would go through an XML file. Would find specific tags in it, put them in a table and fill the table with specific tags within them. I'm using MySQL 5.1 so loadXML isn't an option and I think that ExtractData() method wont be much use either.. but I don't really know. What would be the best way to go about this?

    I want to make a website that will have multiple pages, but because of a unique navigation bar, I cannot simply link to a new file for each page. What is the best way to accomplish this. Some possibilities that I can think of are having all of them on one page, but using css and javascript to move the other pages offscreen, or using iframes and loading them with javascript.     Why I want to do this is another discussion entirely, but I need to figure out the best way to make all my alert dialogs have the positive button on the right side. Note that in version 3.0 and below the buttons normally appear as OK / Cancel and in 4.0 and above it is Cancel / OK. I want to force my application to use Cancel / OK in the simplest way possible. I have a lot of AlertDialogs in the application.

What do you think are the pros and cons of both? I heard that being a consultant is more profitable and one would pick up more experience.     Using Java, you can get the list of ISO2 codes through Locale.getISOCountries() (see this related question http://stackoverflow.com/questions/712231/best-way-to-get-a-list-of-countries-in-java). However, I would like to have the list of all country names (in English for example) and not the list of ISO2 country codes. How can I do that by programming in Java or Groovy ?
