Load function in jquery

Hi, I am relatively new to jquery and would like to know why the below code wouldn't work. I am trying to access the content from a file residing on my site and not outside. Is it because I have the jquery lib loading from google and not my site? The error message that I get in IE browser is "Access Denied". Execute client & server side code with one click?

jQuery replacement for Default Button or Link

As everyone knows, that default button doesn't work in FF, only IE. I've tried to put in the tag or in the and it's not working. I've found a js script to fix this issue, but for some reason it's not working for me. This script for a submit button, i need to use it for a LinkButton, which is should be the same. Google Sites API - File Cabinets: Spaces and extension separator (.) are removed from file names

We have a series of internal reports that we update regularly from our internal databases. We built an application in C# that uploads these reports to a Google Site. Everything works fine, except that the name of the file shown to the final user in the File Cabinet does not include the original spaces nor the extension separator (.) Does a jQuery selector by id always work without quotes and # sign?

I suddenly found that while using Mozilla / jQuery v1.8.2 I do not need to use the id with quotes and # sign. For example, $(bt2) works the same as $(“#bt2”), see the code below. sockaddr_in causing segfault?

Working on creating a server/client system in C right now, and I'm having a little trouble with the client part. From what I've seen, I need to use sockaddr_in so I can connect to the server. However, I've been getting a segfault every time. Why is android:transcriptMode="normal" not working properly?

I've been doing a lot of fiddling with an issue I've been having. What happens is each time an item gets added to my listview (adapter) I expect it to auto-scroll if I'm at the last item (which it will do to an extent); HOWEVER, if 3 or more items get added at once, it will not auto-scroll. Here is the XML of that listview: <ListView android:id="@android:id/list" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="0dip" android:layout_weight="1" android:transcriptMode="normal"/> I tried a workaround using a snippet I found here. Any suggestions?

jQuery $.each()-problem

Hi, im making a wordpress plugin and i have a function where i import images, this is done with a $.each()-loop that calls a .load()-function every iteration. The load-function page the load-function calls is downloading the image and returns a number. The number is imported into a span-element. The source and destination Arrays is being imported from LI-elemnts of a hidden ULs. this way the user sees a counter counting from zero up to the total number of images being imported. How can i prevent this from happening and how can i make it hide '#mrc_imp_img' when the $.each-loop is ready?

OnEditorActionListener called twice with same eventTime on SenseUI keyboard

The onEditorAction event handler is being called twice (immediately) when the Enter key on the Sense UI keyboard is pressed. I'm basically a front end designer and new to PHP and MySQL but I want a user to be able to store multiple names and there meanings in a MySQL database table named names using PHP I will dynamically create form fields with JQuery every time a user clicks on a link so a user can enter 1 to 1,000,000 different names and there meanings which will be stored in a table called names. All I want to know is how can I store multiple names and there meanings in a database and then display them back to the user for them to edit or delete using PHP MySQL? How do I parse data received in a memorystream?

I'm new to using sockets. I have a very basic client that sends a request, and waits for a response. The response is one stream, but has two parts. The first part is prefixed with ANS and is a set of key/value pairs in this form: KEY:Value with each pair on a separate line. The second part of the response is prefixed by RCT and this is pre-formatted text that needs to be send directly to a printer. So what would be the best way to extract both parts of the response, and in the first part, get each Key:Value pair. I might not even need them all, but I have to look at each one to see what the values are then decide what to do with it. I'm currently writing the response out to a textbox just to understand what its doing, but now I need to actually do something with the data. Only first word of two strings gets added to db

When trying to add words to a database via php, only the first word of both strings gets added. Basic CSS trouble

I guess this is fairly simple for you but i cant wrap my head around it. I ripped out the important part. I got text inside #content so i cant change it and i dont want to use !important tag. The css is presented in the order it is placed in my css file. Matching a String and then incrementing a number within HTML elements

Hello all, I have tags in a html list, here is an example of two tags. <div class="tags"> <ul> <li> <a onclick="tag_search('tag1');" href="#">tag1 <span class="num-active">1</span></a> </li> <li> <a onclick="tag_search('tag2');" href="#">tag2 <span class="num-active">1</span></a> </li> </ul> </div> I would like to write a function that I can pass a string to, that will match the strings in the a hyperlink i.e. "tag1" or "tag2", if there is a match then increment the number in the span, if not then add a new li. The bit I am having trouble with is how do I search for a string in the div with class tags and then when I find a match identifying the element. I can't even do the first bit as I am use to using an ID or a Class. How to focus next field if user clicked on the link?

I have a number of fields with labels-links like below: <div class="control-group"> <label class="control-label" for="some-id-1"><a href="http://example.com/some-id-1" target="_blank">Text1</a></label> <div class="controls"> <input type="text" id="some-id-1" name="some-id-1"><br> </div> </div> <div class="control-group"> <label class="control-label" for="some-id-2"><a href="http://example.com/some-id-2" target="_blank">Text2</a></label> <div class="controls"> <input type="text" id="some-id-2" name="some-id-2"><br> </div> </div> If user clicks on the link, how can I focus according field (without preventing default action)? I.e. if user clicks on Text1, then I should open http://example.com/some-id-1 in new window and set focus at input with id some-id-1.

entering datas of php page to database

I have a php form with two text boxes and i want to enter the text box values into the database. I have created the table (with two columns namely webmeasurementsuite id and webmeasurements id) I used the following syntax for creating table: CREATE TABLE `radio` ( `webmeasurementsuite id` INT NOT NULL, `webmeasurements id` INT NOT NULL ); Utilising the tutorial in the following link, I wrote the php coding but unfortunately the datas are not getting entered into the database. I am getting an error in the insert sql syntax. I checked it but i am not able to trace out the error.Can anyone correct me? I can not make use of <asp:Table> ... because for technical reasons I did not find a solution following this post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3003912/how-to-dynamic-adding-rows-into-asp-net-table How can retrieve the contents values of my table (dynamic) for each row.
