  Hi All. I'm new to php. So, please forgive me if this seems like a dumb question. Say i have a MySQL insert statement insert into table (a,b) values (1,2),(3,4),(5,6). table 'table' has a auto increment field called 'id'. how can I retrieve all the ids created by the insert statement above?   I'm trying to use the replace function in JavaScript and have a question. strNewDdlVolCannRegion = strNewDdlVolCannRegion.replace(/_existing_0/gi, "existing" + "newCounter"); That works. But I need to have the "0" be a variable. I've tried: _ + myVariable +/gi and also tried _ + 'myVariable' + /gi Could someone lend a hand with the syntax for this, please. Thank you.

  This is a question I have wondered about for quite some time, yet I have never found a suitable solution. If I run a script and I come across, let's say an IndexError, python prints the line, location and quick description of the error and exits. Is it possible to automatically start pdb when an error is encountered? I am not against having an extra import statement at the top of the file, nor a few extra lines of code.

  i have written a object selection algorithm which picks the objects by there color. i give every object an unique color and then i just have to use the glReadPixels method to check which object was selected this works fine and is really fast but the problem is that the frame is displayed on the screen with all the picking-colors so the screen flashes every time you select something. so my question is: how do i write everything in the correct display buffer but dont display it on the screen to avoid these flashes?

My problem is I can't use template matching cause objects can be rotated, currently I am thinking about check for each color then find the object by checking the distance between colors but it seems inefficient, so my question is there a better way to do this?

When we unref builder pointer does it destroys all the screens/widgets the builder had created? if( builder_ptr ) g_object_unref(G_OBJECT(builder_ptr)); Suppose we have created one screen using Glade/XML with some 2-3 top_level windows in it gtk_builder_add_from_file(builder_ptr, "Test.glade", &error ) and generated GtkBuilder pointer (as above) so after deleting this pointer does it deletes created Windows or do we need to manually delete these windows? Just want commonly used stuff like stl::string, to display in a friendlier manner. Does anyone know. how I can accomplish this? Is this just question of specifying a path to the autoexp.dat file somewhere. The file is available under the Visual Studio installation directory.

  hi all I have a regex defined in python/ruby/php that is like this "(forumdisplay.php\?.*page=%CURRENTPAGE%)" when I do it for java, I have to double escape that question mark to //? like so: "(forumdisplay.php\\?.*page=%CURRENTPAGE%)"; is there a function I can use to do that automatically? or would I need to change all my regexes over to work with the java regex engine? thanks

  Here's an example of the type of background image I'm talking about... Clearly, there's a pattern in it. My question is, if this were an iPad app and the background image was twice the size, would there be any significant benefits to taking advantage of this pattern by tiling the image?
