The JPanel is resizable and the images should scale as the JPanel increases/decreases in size Two questions: What image format is best for this type of desired scalable image?   I have an application which reads the data from the database, creates an object out of the data, marshalls it into an xml and enqueue the xml to a queue which is producer. The xml is dequeued from the queue by a consumer. I need to use xsds at two different places. For database access while reading the data from the database and For interaction between producer and consumer Can the same xsd be used in both the cases? Or do I need to use different xsds?

  Hi, I've seen iphone related open source library which says something like, "You need 4.0+ iOS build environment but the code will run on 3.0+ iOS device." I wonder how those two requirements can differ and how can I tell a minimum 'device' iOS version which a certain api would need. For instance I want to use UIGestureRecognizer but the apple doc says it's 3.2+, but I want my app run on 3.12+. Is there a difference between build os requirement and device os requirement to run an app? Thank you

For each Customer record I want to merge the most recent CustomerAddress record where most recent is determined by the highest CustomerAddress ID value. I've currently got the following: UPDATE Customer SET AddressLine1 = CustomerAddress.Line1, AddressPostalCode = CustomerAddress.PostalCode FROM Customer, CustomerAddress WHERE Customer.ID = CustomerAddress.CustomerID which works but how can I ensure that the most recent (highest ID) CustomerAddress record is selected to update the Customer table?

  I'm making an AJAX call in my symfony project, so it has an sf_format of 'js'. In the actionSuccess.js.php view, I call get_partial to update the content on the page. By default it looks for the partial in 'js' format since the sf_format is still set as 'js'. Is it possible to override the sf_format so that it uses the regular 'html' partial that I already have (so that I don't have to have two identical partials)?

  i do export of an tablespace. This tablespace contains table1 with two rows say rowa and rowb/ now i delete rowb and insert new rowc into this tablespace. Now i do import of this tablespace. after importing i see the table1 in tablespace contains rowa, rowb,rowc but it was suppose to contain rowa and rowb. Can anybody tell why is this happening so?

  I have three date ranges in mysql table as follow from 2013-09-29 to 2013-10-02 from 2013-10-14 to 2013-10-16 from 2013-10-28 to 2013-11-05 I want to count only days that occur in Month of October, for example from first range (2013-09-29 to 2013-10-02) I should get difference of two days (1st and 2nd October) , and it should ignore days from September month, Finally i want to count total days in a given month from above date ranges. Can it be done from direct mysql query. or any short PHP logic.
