  • How to create a hover effect in a newsletter?

    I'm creating a newsletter, and i want to have panels that change background-color on mouse over. Seeing as the newsletter wont have a head, I am defining all styles inline. I'm pretty sure most popular mail clients will block JS. So I was wondering if I can define a hover effect in the style attribute. Or is there any other solution to achieve this effect? Peace

  • How can I display different icons for same file extension

    Visual Studio has *.SLN files for 2008, and 2010. In explorer, the icon associated with the file is based on the version somehow. I was always under the impression that the associated icon just looked at the extension, but obviously there is more going on. I'm asking on stack overflow as a developer - for my application, but if you feel this belongs on another forum, I'm happy to move the discussion elsewhere. Thank you!

  • jQuery UI problem: why do the elements go flying around the screen?

    Yes, I know the title sounds a little suspicious. I will try to explain this the best I can... The code below is supposed to have the blue div slide down beside the red div. The first time you hit the Show the div button, it works. Also, the Hide the div works. Then when I click to show the div again, it appears to the right of where it is supposed to be! Why is this?!? Unfortunately these DLLs are not licensed for redistribution. Is there a standard dialog for choosing a data source that can be distributed with my application?

  • web deploy causing bad image exception

    I have an asp.net web application that uses an unmanaged 32 bit dll that I have successfully running on my development machine, but when I use web deploy to move the code to our test server, I start seeing BadImageFormat exceptions. I set the target in visual web developer to x86 and both machines are running 64 bit os's (windows 7 and windows server 2008 r2). I'm not sure what other differences there could be causing the problem. Thanks for any help you can provide.

  • How to make a single line systabcontrol32 that scrolls but doesn't show a scrollbar

    Hi I'm creating a systabcontrol32 control with the TCS_SINGLELINE style when I resize my window so the tab won't fit an up-down control appears that should allow me to scroll so I can see all the tabs. The thing is that the up-down buttons don't seem to work unless I add a the WS_HSCROLL property to the tab control witch makes it ugly as hell. It could be cool if the up-down could scroll the tabs without need to add the scrollbar (even more since the scroll bar doesn't seem to work, it just sits there and I can't click it).
