  • Embed resource in .NET Assembly without assembly prefix?

    Hi all, When you embed a reosurce into a .NET assembly using Visual Studio, it is prefixed with the assembly name. However, assemblies can have embedded resources that are not assembly-name-prefixed. The only way I can see to do this is to disassemble the assembly using ildasm, then re-assemble it, adding the new resource -- which works, but... do I really need to finish that sentence? (Desktop .NET Framework 3.5, VS 2008 SP1, C#, Win7 Enterprise x64) Thanks, All the best, Robert

    Hey all, I'm trying to make an mp3 player that passes javascript events to a flash file. I'm not very saavy in flash so this may be a simple question.. but how do you make a "movie-less" flash file? Is it possible to just embed an actionscript file? Because that is really all I need to run. Side note: What is the easiest (and fastest) way to pass params to actionscript using javascript? Thanks, Matt Mueller

  • Embedding a flash object old SWF markup? Will this work??

    I am embedding a flash object into my site and when I do I get a message from dreamweaver saying "This page contains some swf objects that may not work correctly in the most recent versions of Internet Explorer.   • Can't play wav file from Javascript in Firefox for Mac

    I have the following html file that plays a wav file when the user hovers over the 'Play' anchor tag. It works perfectly on IE, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari on both Windows and Mac - except for Firefox on the Mac which does not play the file. <html> <head> <title></title> <script> function PlayAudio() { var s = document.getElementById("soundFile"); s.Play(); } </script> </head> <body> <embed src="MySound.wav" enablejavascript="true" type="audio/wav" autostart="false" width="0" height="0" id="soundFile" /> <a href="#" onmouseover="PlayAudio()">Play</a> </body> </html> If the autostart attribute of the embed tag is set to true then the wav file plays as expected in Firefox for Mac, but not on the mouseover of the anchor tag. Any ideas?

  • Flash CS4 compiler Error 1120 when embedding pngs into class instance variables.

    I have a Flash CS4 (Flash 9 ActionScript 3.0) project that compiles and runs perfectly on my machine. However it is part of a big batch of fla's that I want to compile on another (faster) machine. When I copy the project (the fla and all actionscripts and assets files) to the faster machine, it's Flash CS4 compiler gives me compiler error 1120 "Access of undefined property ButtonPause_PauseNormal". The property "PauseNormal" is an embedded png. The PNG is available. No transcoder errors.     I'm trying to dynamically change an embedded video on a page. It's working in Firefox but for some reason it's not working in IE and Chrome (strange combination). My result is the "Security failure - This is not a secure document but has security embed parameters" Error, which is not well documented. The document is set to private. Any ideas?
