  • Gedit drag and drop code

    I am using Gedit(3.4.1) and use it to edit my website with it. and usually when i change/remove/edit my website, i have to change all of my html pages to make it look the same, layout wise and, right now i am removing some code, and pasting another in it. My question is. can i have save that code as a snippet or such??? i want to be able to drop that code onto gedit, and possibly apply that to all over my opened HTML pages

  • How to draw texture to screen in Unity?

    I'm looking for a way to draw textures to screen in Unity in a similar fashion to XNA's SpriteBatch.Draw method. Ideally, I'd like to write a few helper methods to make all my XNA code work in Unity. This is the first issue I've faced on this seemingly long journey. I guess I could just use quads, but I'm not so sure it's the least expensive way performance-wise. I could do that stuff in XNA anyway, but they made SpriteBatch not without a reason, I believe.

Hello, I have an online shop, now I got some products that I want to delete, however I am aware that some of them are indexed and/or marked as bookmarks for some people.     When hosting a website I often notice that all of the following are defined under DNS: POP = mail.example.com SMTP = mail.example.com versus POP = pop.example.com SMTP = smtp.example.com Is it wise to use "mail.example.com" for both POP and SMTP when configuring a mail client? What is the difference between each of the two approaches? It seems to work fine (sends and receives mail as expected).

  • Hashing 3D position into 2D position

    I am doing volumetric raycasting and curently working on depth jitter. I have 3D position on ray and want to sample 2D noise texture to jitter the depth. Function for converting (or hashing) 3D position to 2D have to produce absolutely different numbers for a little changes (especialy because i am sampling in texture space so sample values differs very very little) and have to be "shader-wise" - so forget about branches, cycles etc. I'm looking forward for yours nice and fast solutions.

    When it comes to spritesheets they're usually easier to use, and they're very efficient memory-wise, but the problem that I'm always having is getting the actual position of a sprite from a sheet. Usually, I have to throw in some aproximated values and modify them several times until I get it right. My question: is there a tool which can basically show you the coordinates of the mouse relative to the image you have opened? Or is there a simpler method of getting the exact rectangle that the sprite is contained in?

    On 11.10: I know how to remove the email & u1 entries using blacklist/remove from /usr/share/blablabla_youknowwhere but I see no entries or solutions on how to remove only the status entries, as I dont use any IMs, only mail & u1. I suspect its hardcoded, please let me be wrong. but if it is so, maybe someone enlightened got a diff/patch, although I fear it will lead to dependency hell (compiling wise)

One way would be to find the tile by doing mouse / tile width when I click correct? But then how would I get that tiles position?
