• Indy 10 - IdSMTP.Send() hangs when sending messages from GMail account

  I am trying to send an e-mail using gmail account (Delphi 7, Indy 10) with these settings: TIdSmtp: Port = 587; UseTLS := utUseExplicitTLS; TIdSSLIOHandlerSocketOpenSSL: SSLOptions.Method := sslvTLSv1; Everything seems to be set ok. • jQuery modal Dialog over iFrame

  I am using jQuery UI dialog for modal popups. I have some iframes in my page as well. The iFrame (z-Index = 1500) sits on top of the parent page (z-index =1000). I open the modal dialog from the parent page. I am trying to set the z-index using $('modal').dialog('option','zIndex',3000); but this is not working. I also tried stack:true (to stack it on top), and .dialog( 'moveToTop' ) as well, but they don't seem to work. • How to Customize JAXB Marshalling if generating JAXB beans from XML

  Hello, I want to customize the marshalling of dates in JAXB. It's a variant of this already asked question. I would think I would use an XMLAdapter, as this answer questions specifies. But I can't do that exactly, because I'm going the other way around, generating the JAXB beans from an .XSD -- I can't add annotations to the JAXB beans because they are generated code. I've tried calling Marshaller.setAdapter(), but with no luck. final Marshaller marshaller = getJaxbContext().createMarshaller(); marshaller.setSchema(kniSchema); marshaller.setAdapter(new DateAdapter()); ... private static class DateAdapter extends XmlAdapter<String, XMLGregorianCalendar> { @Override public String marshal(XMLGregorianCalendar v) throws Exception { return "hello"; //Just a test to see if it's working } @Override public XMLGregorianCalendar unmarshal(String v) throws Exception { return null; // Don't care about this for now } } Where the relevant part of my generated JAXB bean looks like this: @XmlSchemaType(name = "date") protected XMLGregorianCalendar activeSince; When I do this, what the default date/XMLGregorianCalendar marshalling happens. • Why is it so difficult to get a working IDE for Scala?

  I recently gave up trying to use Scala in Eclipse (basic stuff like completion doesn't work). So now I'm trying IntelliJ. I'm not getting very far. This was the original error. See below for update: Scala signature Predef has wrong version Expected 5.0 found: 4.1 in .... scala-library.jar I tried both versions 2.7.6 and 2.8 RC1 of scala-*.jar, the result was the same. JDK is 1.6.u20. UPDATE Today I uninstalled IntelliJ 9.0.1, and installed 9.0.2 Early Availability, with the 4/14 stable version of the Scala plug-in.   I am using Komodo Edit 5.2 for editing html and Django template files. It always shows a single syntax error inside the first {% block %} area on the first tag of my template. For example: {% extends "base.html" %} {% load i18n %} {% block title %}Hello{% endblock %} {% block content %} <p>Hello</p> <-- Syntax error on this single line <p>Other lines have no errors</p> {% endblock %} {% block footer %} <p>No errors here</p> {% endblock %} The syntax error given is: Info: <head> previously mentioned I know for a fact that the error has nothing to do with my <head> tag since it occurs in the base template and in child templates (and the IDE isn't smart enough to process the base templates when in a child, etc.) All of my html tags are closed properly and everything validates for XHTML strict. This forum post mentions a similar problem but offers no solution (and may be specific to Smarty syntax highlighting). Any ideas on how to resolve this error (or disable it from being shown)?

  I am getting some unexpected behavior from Html.EditorFor(). It feels like something in ASP.NET is overriding my model values from updating the text boxes and they are just displaying the same old values. I found this issue while trying to learn EditorFor with an IEnumerable.

• Programmatically controlling a Dojo Accordion

  I have a dijit.layout.AccordionContainer on my page which is defined in the html and created when dojo parses the page on load. Then, as the user interacts with the page I use Ajax to retrieve data and programmatically populate the container (removing existing items first). To illustrate my issue simply, here is some code that doesn't work: function doit() { var accordion = dijit.byId("accordionShell"); accordion.getChildren().each(function(item) { accordion.removeChild(item); }); for (i = 1; i < 5; i++) { var d = new dijit.layout.AccordionPane({title:'hello', content:'world'}); accordion.addChild(d); } } This fails, because only the first item in the accordian is visible. I think the others actually exist, but they are not visible so you can't do anything. I've managed to get around it by: Always ensuring there is 1 item in the accordian (so I never remove the first child) Call accordian.layout() after changing the contents So, this code "works" as long as you always want to see the first item, and don't actually expand any but the first one: function doit() { var accordion = dijit.byId("accordionShell"); var i = 0; accordion.getChildren().each(function(item) { if (i > 0) accordion.removeChild(item); i++; }); for (i = 1; i < 5; i++) { var d = new dijit.layout.AccordionPane({title:'hello', content:'world'}); accordion.addChild(d); } accordion.layout(); } I am using Dojo 1.2.0 - Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

  I'm using pear mail and pear mail mime to send UTF8 HTML emails. When I input urls such as //www.site.com.img they appear in the email as http:///www.site.com.img (note the three slashes). Anyone know how to use //www urls with pear-mail/mime ? • C# COM objects with VB6/asp error

  I'm trying to expose a C# class library via COM so that I can use it in a classic asp web site. I've used sn - k, regasm and gacutil. About all I can do now though is echo back strings. Methods which take Class variables as input are not working for me. ie my test method EchoPerson(Person p) which returns a string of the first and last name doesn't work. I get a runtime error 5 - Invalid procedure call or argument. Please let me know what I am missing. Also I have no intellisence in VB. What do I need to do to get the intellisence working. • Using Apache Camel how do I unmarshal my deserialized object that comes in through a CXF Endpoint?

  I have a very simple camel route. It starts with a CXF Endpoint exposed as a web service. I then want to convert it to xml and call a method on a bean. Currently i'm getting a CXF specific object after the web service call. How do I take my serialized object out of the CXF MessageList and use it going forward?   I want tp encrypt and decrypt string, with defined salt. But the result must be same if the code run in java and adobe flex. The main goal is: the app in adobe flex will be generate a string that can be decrypt in server using java. I use this flex library http://crypto.hurlant.com/demo/ Try to 'Secret Key' Tab.
