• MVC 2 Validation without BuddyClasses

  Hello EveryOne, i m using asp.NET MVC 2 for my current project and i need to validate form fields both on client and server side. for that i started with DataAnnotations. Now, i figure out that i have to write buddy class for every model or i have to go to designer generated code and put my annotations there (not a good idea though). if someone can suggest me a solution that helps me avoid writing those buddy classes and get the same functionality. I have a list of words, let's say: photo, free, search, image, css3, css, tutorials, webdesign, tutorial, google, china, censorship, politics, internet and I have a list of contexts: Programming World news Technology Web Design I need to try and match words with the appropriate context/contexts if possible.   I'm currently working on a project where we'd like to allow a user to export their data to CSV. Some of the data we present has multiple values for a single cell, and so we use the standard CSV method of putting each value on its own line: Column A, Column B, Column C Value A, "Value B1 Value B2", Value C Most of the time this works fine, but some people are reporting seeing a small question mark in a box character appear at the end of each line when they load the file in Excel. Why is this happening?

• Dojo Tooltips missing the mark sometimes

  Hi everyone, I'm using tooltips for icons that are displayed in a dijit.Dialog. Sometimes they work just fine, but other times they get placed around 25 to 50 pixels further away from the target than they should be. I can't see any pattern to when this happens.   Hey all, I'm using PyLab to make some graphs in Python. I want to make a text box that is colored magenta with black text, but cannot get the text to be black. text(x, y, 'Summary', backgroundcolor = 'm', color = 'k') This gives me a magenta background and then text that is almost just as pink.   Is there a way to start WebDevServer (Visual Web Development Server) by passing in the .sln file without actually opening Visual Studio 2008? I am a JavaScript developer and I work in a client project and I want to save the memory overhead consumed by VS and give it to multiple browsers for cross-browser testing.
