    Hi friends, I worked on localhost to build my drupal site. then, I moved to server. Steps: Clear cache tables (Site Configuration Performance Clear Cached Data button) on localhost Export db and then import on live server Move files/folders to live server Edit settings.php to reflect live server config everything is working great until I make Clear Cached Data on Server. than my custom theme, custom front page, etc... all mess up :( What can be the problem? I appreciate helps so much!! Thanks! !!SORTED!! I used a subtheme for Zen, named mgf . then I had taken a back-up as mgf- somehow after I make Clear Cached Data, Drupal links to this mgf- which is old and doesnt have latest stylings. I just removed this folder from themes, and it linked to the right-latest mgf.

  • require.js - How can I set a version on required modules as part of the URL?

    I am using require.js to require JS modules in my application. I need a way to bust client cache on new JS modules, by way of a different requested URL. i.e., if the file hello/there.js has already been cached on the client, I can change the file name to force the browser to get the new file. In other words, for the module hello/there, I'd like require.js to request the url hello/there___v1234___.js (the file name can look different, it's just an example), according to a version string which is accessible on the client. What is the best way to achieve that?

    I'm profiling some old java code and it appears that my caching of values using a static HashMap and a access method does not work. Caching code (a bit abstracted): static HashMap<Key, Value> cache = new HashMap<Key, Value>(); public static Value getValue(Key key){ System.out.println("cache size="+ cache.size()); if (cache.containsKey(key)) { System.out.println("cache hit"); return cache.get(key); } else { System.out.println("no cache hit"); Value value = calcValue(); cache.put(key, value); return value; } } Profiling code: for (int i = 0; i < 100; i++) { getValue(new Key()); } Result output: cache size=0 no cache hit (..) cache size=99 no cache hit It looked like a standard error in Key's hashing code or equals code. However: new Key().hashcode == new Key().hashcode // TRUE new Key().equals(new Key()) // TRUE What's especially weird is that cache.put(key, value) just adds another value to the hashmap, instead of replacing the current one. So, I don't really get what's going on here. Am I doing something wrong?

  • Why do I get a DependencyProperty.UnsetValue when converting a value in a MultiBinding?

    I have an extremely simple IMultiValueConverter that simply OR's two values. In the example below, I want to invert the first value using an equally simple boolean inverter. <MultiBinding Converter="{StaticResource multiBoolToVis}"> <Binding Path="ConditionA" Converter="{StaticResource boolInverter}"/> <Binding Path="ConditionB"/> </MultiBinding> public class BoolInverterConverter : IValueConverter { #region IValueConverter Members public object Convert(object value, Type targetType, object parameter, System.Globalization.CultureInfo culture) { if (value is bool) { return !((bool)value); } return null; } public object ConvertBack(object value, Type targetType, object parameter, System.Globalization.CultureInfo culture) { throw new NotImplementedException(); } #endregion } When I include the boolInverter, the first value in the MultiValueConverter becomes a "DependencyProperty.UnsetValue". There are no problems when I do not use the converter (other than not the logic I am aiming for, of course). Am I missing something? Stepping through the debugger shows that the InverseBoolConverter is properly inverting the value I pass it, but that value is then not being 'sent' to the MultiValueConverter.

For my project, I need to inject an IMapperEngine as part of object construction using StructureMap so that we can mock the mapper in unit tests so we can't use the static mapper. I also need to support configuring AutoMapper Profiles. My question is how can I configure the StructureMap registry so that it can supply an instance of IMappingEngine when an instance of MyService is constructed.     I cannot seem to get unity working when attempting to pass in an array of strings into a constructor parameter list, while using XML configuration. When I try the following: <typeConfig ...> <constructor ...> <param ... parameterType="System.String[]"> <array> <value.../> <value.../> </array> </param> </constructor> </typeConfig> for a c'tor which looks like this: void Foo(string[] inputParams_){ ... } It always fails in Unity's FindConstructor(...) method stating that it cannot find a c'tor mathcing the parameter type of String.String Does anyone know how to pass an array of stings successfully into this type of c'tor? If not, how can I do so with a list of strings, if the c'tor were to accept an IList? Thanks!

Any ideas? Why do I keep on seeing some old version of regexes when I try to load that page even though I changed my urls.py?

  • Guice and JSF 2

    I'm trying to use Guice to inject properties of a JSF managed bean. This is all running on Google App Engine (which may or may not be important) I've followed the instructions here: http://code.google.com/docreader/#p=google-guice&s=google-guice&t=GoogleAppEngine One problem is in the first step. I can't subclass the Servlet module and setup my servlet mappings there because Faces is handled by the javax.faces.webapp.FacesServlet which subclasses Servlet, not HttpServlet. So, I tried leaving my servlet configuration in the web.xml file and simply instantiating a new ServletModel() along with my business module when creating the injector in the context listener described in the second step. Having done all that, along with the web.xml configuration, my managed bean isn't getting any properties injected. The method is as follows @ManagedBean @ViewScoped public class ViewTables implements Serializable { private DataService<Table> service; @Inject public void setService( DataService<Table> service ) { this.service = service; } public List<Table> getTables() { return service.getAll(); } } So, I'm wondering if there is a trick to get Guice injecting into a JSF managed bean? I obviously can't use the constructor injection because JSF needs a no-arg constructor to create the bean.

  • When to use an IOC container?

    I'm trying to understand when I should use a container versus manually injecting dependencies. If I have an application that uses a 1-2 interfaces and only has 1-2 concrete implementations for each interface, I would lean towards just handling that myself. If I have a small application that uses 2-3 interfaces and each interface has 2-3 concrete implementations, should I use a full-blown container? Would something something simple like this suffice? Basically I'm trying to understand when it's appropriate to manually handle these dependencies, when (or if) I should use something simple like the above, and when to use an IOC container like Ninject, Windsor, etc....

Ninject.dll - v2.0.0.0 Ninject.Extensions.Logging.dll v2.0.0.0 Ninject.Web.dll v1.0.0.0 In my global.ascx.cs I have following method. protected override IKernel CreateKernel() { IKernel kernel = new StandardKernel(); kernel.Bind<IDataAccess>().To<DataAccessEntBlock>().InSingletonScope(); return kernel; } When I run the application I get following error. Error activating ILoggerFactory No matching bindings are available, and the type is not self-bindable. Activation path: 1) Request for ILoggerFactory Suggestions: 1) Ensure that you have defined a binding for ILoggerFactory. 2) If the binding was defined in a module, ensure that the module has been loaded into the kernel. 3) Ensure you have not accidentally created more than one kernel. 4) If you are using automatic module loading, ensure the search path and filters are correct. I am not understanding even though I am not trying to register Logger, it seems it is trying to create it's own. How can I resolve this error ? Do I have to use any of the Ninject's extension Logger ? Thanks GK

  • Where does lucene .net cache the search results?

    Hi, I'm trying to figure out where Lucene stores the cached query results, and how it's configured to do so - and how long it caches for. This is for an ASP.NET 3.5 solution. I'm getting this problem: If I run a search and sort the result by a particular product field, it seems to work the very first time each search and sort combination is used. If I then go in and change some product attributes, reindex and run the same search and sort, I get the products returned in the same order as the very first result. example Product A is named: foo Product B is named: bar For the first search, sort by name desc. This results in: Product A Product B Now mix up the data a bit: Change names to: Product A named: bar Product B named: foo reindex verify that the index contains the changes for these two products. search Result: Product A Product B Since I changed the alphabetical order of the names, I expected: Product B Product A So I think that Lucene is caching the search results. (Which, btw, is a very good thing.) I just need to know where/how to clear these results. I've tried deleting the index files and doing an IISreset to clear the memory, but it seems to have no effect. So I'm thinking there is another set of Lucene files outside of the indexes that Lucene uses for caching. EDIT I just found out that you must create the index for field you wish to sort on as un-tokenized. I had the field as tokenized, so sorting didn't work.

Let's say I have a class with this constructor: public CoalescingParserSelector(IEnumerable<IParserBuilder> parserBuilders) and I configure individual IParserBuilder instances in the container: container.RegisterType<IParserSelector, CoalescingParserSelector>(); container.RegisterType<IParserBuilder, HelpParserBuilder>(); container.RegisterType<IParserBuilder, SomeOtherParserBuilder>(); can I make this work without having to implement a custom implementation of IEnumerable<IParserBuilder>? var selector = container.Resolve<IParserSelector>(); So far I haven't been able to express this in any simple way, but I'm still ramping up on Unity so I may have missed something.

    My Silverlight4 app is hosted in ASP.NET MVC 2 web application. I do web request through HttpWebRequest class but it gives back a result previously cached. How to disable this caching behavior? There are some links which talks about HttpWebRequest in .NET but Silverlight HttpWebrequest is different. Someone suggested to add unique dummy query string on every web request, but I'd prefer more elegant solution. I also tried the following, but it didn't work: _myHttpWebRequest.BeginGetRequestStream(new AsyncCallback(BeginRequest), new Guid()); In fact, by setting browser history settings it is possible to disable caching.   • Binding from View-Model to View-Model of a child User Control in Silverlight? 2 sources - 1 target..

    Hi there, So i have a UserControl for one of my Views and have another 'child' UserControl inside that. The outer 'parent' UserControl has a Collection on its View-Model and a Grid control on it to display a list of Items. I want to place another UserControl inside this UserControl to display a form representing the details of one Item. The outer / parent UserControl's View-Model already has a property on it to hold the currently selected Item and i would like to bind this to a DependancyProperty on the inner / child UserControl. I would then like to bind that DependancyProperty to a property on the child UserControl's View-Model. I can then set the DependancyProperty once in XAML with a binding expression and have the child UserControl do all its work in its View-Model like it should. The code i have looks like this..   • flushing database cache in SWI-Prolog

    We are using swi-prolog to run our testcases. Whenever the test starts, I am opening the connection to MYSQL database and storing the Name of the Test hat is being done and then closing the DB. These tests run for about 2 days continuously. After the tests are done, the results basically gets stored in folder in the server. There is a predicate in another prolog file that is called to update the results to the MYSQL database. The code is simple, I use odbc library and just call odbc_* predicates to connect and update the mysql by issuing direct queries. The actual problem is : If I try to call the Predicate from the same Prolog window, where the test just got completed, I get an error as updating to the DB server. Although I do not get any error in the connection. If I close the session of that prolog with halt and closing all the open prolog windows , then open an other complete new instance of Prolog and run the predicate the update goes well. I have a feeling that there is some connection reference to the MySQL DB in Prolog database. Is there any way to clear the database in prolog so that I can run the same predicate without closing any existing prolog windows? Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.

  • Cache the result of a MySQLdb database query in memory

    Our application fetches the correct database server from a pool of database servers. So each query is really 2 queries, and they look like this: Fetch the correct DB server Execute the query We do this so we can take DB servers online and offline as necessary, as well as for load-balancing. But the first query seems like it could be cached to memory, so it only actually queries the database every 5 or 10 minutes or so. What's the best way to do this? Thanks.
