    Senario: Open an account in CRM 2011 beta and click on activities on the left navigation pane, you will now see activities of the selected account and now have two filter drop down lists on the top which allow you to view activities of the account or sub accounts of this account. Is this filter drop downs something customizable or is it a feature only available for system entities (like acitivity)? Is this functionality provided because Activity entity have N:1 relationship with Type of Behavior = System? can we provide the same or similar functionality by using Type of behavior = Parental!?!?   • Creating a dynamic two-column iOS spinning wheel with HTML/Javascript

    I am trying to create a dynamic two-column spinning wheel for iOS Safari using this HTML/Javascript wheel. However, I am having trouble getting the value of the first column to change the results of the second column. I have tried using an if statement to get the value of the first variable (var beverage) and add the value of the second column correspondingly.     I'm trying to implement an OpenID provider with DotNetOpenAuth. I supply an OpenID url, and the consumer discovers my endpoint. I log into my provider, and the provider returns a Claimed Identifier and a Local Identifier to the consumer. But the consumer response has the following exception: The OpenID Provider issued an assertion for an Identifier whose discovery information did not match. Assertion endpoint info: ClaimedIdentifier: http://localhost/OpenIDUser.aspx/myuser ProviderLocalIdentifier: http://localhost/OpenIDUser.aspx/myuser ProviderEndpoint: http://localhost/OpenIDAuth.aspx OpenID version: 2.0 Service Type URIs: Discovered endpoint info: [] http://localhost/OpenIDAuth.aspx is my endpoint. http://localhost/OpenIDUser.aspx/myuser is my user identifier url, and I can browse to it successfully.     I'm switching from MockStrutsTestCase to Mockrunner and I'm finding that having to manually re-create all of my DynaActionForms in Mockrunner is a pain...there has to be an easier way?! Can somebody offer a tip to simplify this process?     Don't worry, I'm not going to ask that question, yet again... I am wanting to create my own programming language, just for learning sake. I don't want anything other than possibly a few links to head me into the right direction. MSDN Documentation on C# that is specific to what is required to create a language would be great! For the time being, all I am wanting to create is a very simple language that allows me to Create a Form, add a control to it, give that control a location, and maybe even some properties like a Text property, or maybe even a Color property.   • Having problems creating an array from XML data in Acrobat Javascript, please help if you can

    I have a manually created array that already works example below: var PartsData = { 179: { ref:"", partNum: "201-2007-C00-00", descript: "System Monitor Card (Tracewell Only)", cage: "39764", qty: "1", SMR: "XBOZZ", UOC: "A" }}; Now this array above is is just one value in the array and it works fine. Here is the XML that I am trying to use to dynamically change the values. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <partsTables> <partsList> <part sheetNum="ta1"> <breakDownIndexNo>-1 </breakDownIndexNo> <referenceDesg/> <indent>20534220P01 </indent> <description/> <cage>TAC RI, GRADE-A SHOCK (TEC RACK), ALT P/N 72304-1</cage> <qtyPerAssy>23991 </qtyPerAssy> <smr>1 </smr> <uoc>ADODD </uoc> <blank/> </part> </partsList> </partsTables> I have this parsing just fine in Acrobat. Now I want to make the array work for me in using these values. if I have the following below it will work. Where part.item(i).indent.value equals the value of the indent node, etc. newArr = { 179: { ref: part.item(i).referenceDesg.value, partNum: part.item(i).indent.value, descript: part.item(i).cage.value, cage: part.item(i).qtyPerAssy.value, qty: part.item(i).smr.value, SMR: part.item(i).uoc.value, UOC: part.item(i).blank.value}}; As soon as I try to make the 179 value, which is in the breakDownIndexNo node, dynamic by using the direct part.item(i).breakDownIndexNo.value it will not compile. Acrobat is using javascript so I'm not sure why I can not get this to parse. I have tried to create a variable out of the breakDownIndexNo node and typed it to both a String and an Integer. this will let it create the array but it will not let me output from the array. newArr[indexNum].partNum gives me "no properties" where newArr[179].partNum if I were to manually set the index number to 179 will print out the value of part.item(i).indent.value. If any of you have an idea or an answer please let me know.

    Hi guys, I'm having trouble getting in touch with SQL Server Managemen Studio 2008! I want to create a link-table that will link an Event to many Audiences (EventAudience). An example of the data that could be contained: EventId | AudienceId 4 1 5 1 4 2 However, I don't want this: EventId | AudienceId 4 1 4 1 I've been looking at relationships and constraints.. but no joy so far! As a sneaky second part to the question, I would like to set up the Audience table such that if a row is deleted from Audience, it will clear down the EventAudience link table in a cascading manner. Honestly I care little about cross-platforms for now (but still would be good) I want to use Ruby, since it has quite a simple syntax and is so.. well, simple and easy to learn. My application is like a "game level creator", where you can design your own level and then run it with another application which is a "game level player" by reading the project file created by the creator app. You get the idea. Now, I got a new PC and is completely clean. Absolutely no trace of my old Ruby experiments and fails. First of all, I will need to choose a GUI platform for my Ruby application! Can you recommend me one? I have heard of Shoes and Tk, but want to know what you think.

    The root of my question is that the C# compiler is too smart. It detects a path via which an object could be undefined, so demands that I fill it. In the code, I look at the tables in a DataSet to see if there is one that I want. If not, I create a new one. I know that dtOut will always be assigned a value, but the the compiler is not happy unless it's assigned a value when declared. This is inelegant. How do I rewrite this in a more elegant way?     I'm using a simple thumbnailing script I wrote and it's pretty standard: $imgbuffer = imagecreatetruecolor($thumbwidth, $thumbheight); switch($type) { case 1: $image = imagecreatefromgif($img); break; case 2: $image = imagecreatefromjpeg($img); break; case 3: $image = imagecreatefrompng($img); break; case 6: $image = imagecreatefrombmp($img); break; case 15: $image = imagecreatefromwbmp($img); break; default: return log_error("Tried to create thumbnail from $img: not a valid image"); } imagecopyresampled($imgbuffer, $image, 0, 0, 0, 0, $thumbwidth, $thumbheight, $width, $height); $output = imagepng($imgbuffer, "$album/thumbs/$imgname.png", 9); 9 is the lowest quality setting, yet from a 400 x 600 JPEG image (at 56kB) I'm getting a thumbnail 27 kB in size (140 x 140). Using imagejpeg (quality of 80) instead of imagepng it's about 4kB. How can this be, especially at the lowest quality setting for imagepng? I tried using imagecopy instead of imagecopyresampled, and imagecreate instead of the true color version. Unfortunately the images come out mangled somehow. Is there any way to get PNG thumbnails of a reasonably small file size (about 4 kB at 140 x 140)? Or do I have to use JPEG?

    Based on my current understanding of hashes in Perl, I would expect this code to print "hello world." It instead prints nothing. %a=(); %b=(); $b{str} = "hello"; $a{1}=%b; $b=(); $b{str} = "world"; $a{2}=%b; print "$a{1}{str} $a{2}{str}"; I assume that a hash is just like an array, so why can't I make a hash contain another?

I can't upload them directly to the card because my program will allow the user to reshape the verticies. My question is, how can I speed this up. I'm not using depth. I also know it's not my GetCamera() functions because if I create 500,000 polygons spread apart t's fine, it just has trouble showing them in the view. If a graphics card can support 500,000,000 on screen polygons per second, this should be easy right? Thanks

  • creating BeanInfo objects in NetBeans 6.1 does not work for some objects

    I have recently learned about BeanInfo classes in Java, and have successfully used them to add icons to my custom GUI components which extend swing components such as JTextField, however i have a more specialized GUI component which extends from another one of my GUI components, which then extends from JTextField. Ie. the class hierarchy is of the form "A - B - JTextField". I can create a bean info object that works for class B, but when i click on the bean info editor option in netbeans to create a bean info object for class A, nothing happens. Ie. there is no error pop-up and a bean info object is not created. There isn't much difference between class A and B. Both A and B have default no argument constructors and they are very similar to each other. The only thing i can really think of is that A uses generics and B does not. I would like to create a beaninfo object for class A so that i can add custom icons for that component. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
