    Hi, does anyone know how i can get the id of any element when the mouse is over ? I want to show a div (box) over the elements (tags) the mouse is over. I cannot modify the tags to include a mousover event. I want a global callback or something like that to have the id of the tag which is under the mouse pointer. Thanks !

  • Getting into a technology which requires experience when you have no experience

    It seems that Sharepoint is a technology which is very hard to get into. All the jobs in this tech require experience in working with it (Eg 2 years development experience in MOSS). If I wanted to get into this - but had no job that used the tech, how can I get experience in it to get an experienced job? Jobs state you need "2 years professional experience in MOSS 2007" but then if you have never done it, you won't get the job. The only possible way is you will be doing this at home and not in a team, but if you work in the mean time, that will negate this (it's not like teamworking is tech specific). Many people think if you decide to make a project at home you're just going to play about aimlessly rather than work to specs (where as in my current situation it's vice versa) but if you're dedicated, like me, you would write them - just not with the same presentation. Would employers treat experience at home as professional experience? Biztalk is another prime example of this. Thanks

  • Getting a ResultSet/RefCursor over a database link

    From the answers to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1122175/calling-a-stored-proc-over-a-dblink it seems that it is not possible to call a stored procedure and get the ResultSet/RefCursor back if you are making the SP call across a remote DB link. We are also using Oracle 10g. We can successfully get single value results across the link, and can successfully call the SP and get the results locally but we get the same 'ORA-24338: statement handle not executed' error when reading the ResultSet from the remote DB. My question - is there any workaround to using the stored procedure? Is a shared view a better solution? Piped rows?   • Getting Phing's dbdeploy task to automatically rollback on delta error

    I am using Phing's dbdeploy task to manage my database schema. This is working fine, as long as there is no errors in the queries of my delta files. However, if there is an error, dbdeploy will just run the delta files up to the query with the error and then abort. This causes me some frustration, because I have to manually rollback the entry in the changelog table then. If I don't, dbdeploy will assume the migration was successful on a subsequent try. So the question is, is there any way to get dbdeploy use transactions or can you suggest any other way to have phing rollback automatically when an error occurs? Note: I'm not that proficient with Phing, so if this involves writing a custom task, any example code or a url with further information is highly appreciated. Thanks

    I am having trouble retrieving float/real values out of PostgreSQL. For example, I would like to store: 123456789123456, the retrieve that exact same number with a select statement. table tbl (num real) insert into tbl(num) values('123456789123456'); As it is now, if I "select num from tbl" the result is "1.23457e+14" If I run "select CAST(num AS numeric) as num from tbl" the result is 123457000000000 If I run "select CAST(num AS float) as num from tbl" the result is 123456788103168 (where did this number come from) How on earth can I select the value and get "123456789123456" as the result?     I'm working at the aspx page, and the following code is inserted in a Repeater control: <%# ((System.Collections.Generic.List<double>)DataBinder.Eval(Container.DataItem, "BookPrices")).Max() %> Brings up the following error: 'System.Collections.Generic.List<double>' does not contain a definition for 'Max' List does have an method of Max(), so I'm possibly messing up my code somehow. What is my problem? BookPrices is a list<double> object, which I'd like to print it's maximum value. P.S. You guys are great! I didn't find answers for many of my questions on the web. In the console, I get: Request 7E4C3097-88D6-45F1-90D2-AD8205FBAAC5 failed with error: Error Domain=HTTP Code=400 "Operation could not be completed. (HTTP error 400.)" Is there a way around this? Am I implementing the delegate method right? (Also, I had difficulty installing the YAJL stuff for the engine, and wonder if that has something to do with it)

    I am writing a script in Powershell to get the update information from each computer and correlate the information with another System which identifies updates by CVE ID. I have discovered that there is a "CVEIDs" property for an update in WSUS, which is documented in MSDN, but I have no idea how to access the property. Retrieving the CVE ID from WSUS is the key to this script, so I am hoping someone out there can help!     Anyone know of a simple way of converting the RGBint value returned from <BufferedImage> getRGB(i,j) into a greyscale value? I was going to simply average the RGB values by breaking them up using this; int alpha = (pixel >> 24) & 0xff; int red = (pixel >> 16) & 0xff; int green = (pixel >> 8) & 0xff; int blue = (pixel) & 0xff; and then average red,green,blue. But i feel like for such a simple operation I must be missing something...

    I know you don't like helping others in their homework but I have to make an XText grammar, write a sample code that matches this grammar and compile it to a html file. The lecturer showed us the steps and everything worked for him... He said "It's so simple it will be a 10 minute work for you". And I believed that. However at home almost nothing works as expected. And of course no more lectures to go only the exam avaits me where I have to show what I done to pass. Moreover the e-mail I sent him bounced back by the mailer-demon... I got Xtext along with Eclipse IDE from the xtext website and I unpacked it and I followed the steps in the official tuturial to get the default project template to work. The tutorial is found here: http://wiki.eclipse.org/Xtext/GettingStarted Now I'm at the step "Model". It says open the "MyModel.mydsl" I do that but the editor does not opened. It said: "Could not open the editor: The editor class could not be instantiated. This usually indicates a missing no-arg constructor or that the editor's class name was mistyped in plugin.xml." Since everything is generated, the error message does not helped me... There was an option to look at the stack trace (it was mile long) and on the top of it there was an exception: java.lang.IllegalStateException: The bundle has not yet been activated. Make sure the Manifest.MF contains 'Bundle-ActivationPolicy: lazy'. I opened Manifast.MF and Bundle-ActivationPolicy: lazy was set... I googled for the solution but no avail. It drove me nuts and I gave up. I have no experience with Eclipse and Java and XText, I just want to do my homework and forget everything until I will need it again... Anyone have experience with XText? Any help appreciated. ps: I will be on it too and I might resolve the problem in several hours. But now I am at a loss.

  • Getting error detail from WCF REST

    I have a REST service consumed by a .Net WCF client. When an error is encountered the REST service returns an HTTP 400 Bad Request with the response body containing JSON serialised details. If I execute the request using Fiddler, Javascript or directly from C# I can easily access the response body when an error occurs. However, I'm using a WCF ChannelFactory with 6 quite complex interfaces. The exception thrown by this proxy is always a ProtocolException, with no useful details. Is there any way to get the response body when I get this error? Update I realise that there are a load of different ways to do this using .Net and that there are other ways to get the error response. They're useful to know but don't answer this question. The REST services we're using will change and when they do the complex interfaces get updated. Using the ChannelFactory with the new interfaces means that we'll get compile time (rather than run time) exceptions and make these a lot easier to maintain and update the code. Is there any way to get the response body for an error HTTP status when using WCF Channels?

  • Getting Android SDK WebView and TabWidget to play nice

    I’m taking the HelloTabWidget Android example and trying two things: Moving the tabs to the bottom vs. the top (if that’s even desirable from an Android UI POV) Making each tab show a particular WebView in the space above I’ve got this for a layout (high level): <TabHost> <LinearLayout> <FrameLayout> <WebView/> <WebView/> <WebView/> <WebView/> <WebView/> </FrameLayout> <TabWidget/> </LinearLayout> </TabHost> Everything has a width/height set to fill_parent except for the TabWidget which has its layout_height set to wrap_content (and the layout_gravity set to bottom). First thing I noticed is that WebViews don’t show anything until all the parents have width/height set to fill_parent. However, once I do that, they fill the entire display, obscuring the TabWidget. Is there some other trick to making these two views play nicely together?
